Counihan Family Dentistry

I decided to go to a new dentist and after a visit with Dr. Counihan and staff I feel I made a good choice! Dr. Counihan was professional and yet friendly enough to make me feel comfortable. The staff was welcoming and friendly.

My appointment this morning was (dare I say it), pleasurable. Typically I HATE going to the dentist. However, Dr. Counihan and his staff were so friendly and efficient that I really didn’t mind it.

I hate having my teeth worked on, however the friendly very positive people that work here are beyond fantastic including Dr.Counihan!
Seriously if your like me you might actually enjoy having your teeth worked on at Counihan Family Dentistry!

I love going but appointments are hard to get.. I love the dentist the whole staff is new. I am a very bad patient. But love going to this office. Feel more at home with them. Nice and friendly staff.

Entire staff is great! Dr. Counihan really cares if you’re in pain or uncomfortable. I had a weekend bridge emergency, Dr. Counihan returned my call within 15 minutes.. on a Saturday too!

Just x-rays and a check-up, Kelsea was exceptional, very professional. What else can you say about Dr. Counihan and the staff, great personalities and sense of humor. I looked a long time finding the right Dental office, this is the place. Try them, I'm sure you'll feel the same way.

They provide very high quality service and are caring and compassionate to their patients. Some of the staff have a tendency to discuss politics and religion which can be dividing but their work is more than worth it

Everyone I dealt with in the office was extremely pleasant! The doctor sat down and was very thorough about my x-rays and my exam. I’m happy we chose this office to establish care with.

Wonderful local dentist. I started going after my sister took her kids there, and have really appreciated how friendly everyone is, and the personal touch that they bring to each patient's care. I came in with pretty bad teeth, and they've done great work helping me smile without being embarrassed anymore. Highly recommended.

I couldn't be happier with the hygienist. Dr is very lucky to have her. She is sociable, knowledgeable, gentle, and I just love her. I never look forward to going to the dentist but with her I come

My first visit here and I’m the oldest chicken in the world. Today was a consultant so no drilling. The staff and Dr Counihan were absolutely amazing. The hardest part is dealing with what insurance DOESN’T pay. Then getting the bill. But… they were the nicest people.

My teenage daughter and I both go here. These guys are the best. Clean, professional, funny and warm. My teeth always feel great after a cleaning and Dr. Counihan and the hygienists (we see Mary) are all amazing. Thanks for always making going to the dentist such a pleasant experience :)

Love this Dentist office! I have tried several since living in the area and this one tops them all. Very friendly kind staff. Mary the hygienist is very thorough and gentle. Dr. Counihan checks all the boxes when doing an exam as well and doesn't miss a thing! He has done a few fillings on me and was very gentle I hardly felt the injection at all. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist!

Not that going to the dentist ever warrants five stars, but if you have to go, it helps to have a great experience. The office staff is welcoming and accommodating, the dental assistants are kind and considerate, and Dr Counihan is engaging and positive. I would highly recommend this office. I bring my entire family here.

It had been QUITE some time since I had been to see Dr Counihan. I was a serious nervous wreck. From the moment I walked in, the ladies up front were SO inviting and SO kind. When the hygienist came to get me, I told her how long it had been since I had been seen and that I was SUPER nervous and worried! My hygienist, Emily, made me feel so much more at ease. She was very thoughtful and kind reassuring me throughout my appointment. She really did make all the difference in helping me to relax!

When Dr Counihan came in, he was, as I remembered, SO KIND, and continued to help put me at ease and helped make me laugh.

I am so thankful that I finally made myself come back in so they can help me get back on track! I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a friendly family dentist!
