AmeriVu Inn and Suites

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting the Shell Lake area and have zero complaints! Is it a Hilton? No! Were the owners pleasant and nice? Definitely! Was the room clean? Yes! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

I can't even describe how comfortable this hotel is. The owners are so appreciative of everyone who stays there. The rooms are spotless the TV channel options are better than any I've stayed at before. There is ac, wifi, very pleasant owners, and very clean comfortable rooms. It is right near the lake where all the locals and out of town tourists gather. In a very quaint town, this is the place to stay. Also one of the best pizza's I've ever had I got there!

Booked 2 months in advance nothing on site about pool not working, checked in nothing said about it either , after paid reliized it , figured we’d deal with it the first day we left to ride they call us & ask if we were still there (when we paid for 2 nights ) so when we returned later that evening our room keys didn’t work (apparently they checked us out ) ugh , the hotel has a bad smell ,to be honest we didn’t even go check out breakfast area ,the rooms were OK not great not horrible, tiny bars of soap , room was hot upon arrival cuz AC was off .
Looks like they need to hire some help, next time I’ll check reviews b4 staying here again, definitely wasn’t worth what we paid….

Nice hotel. I went in with low expectations based on the other reviews, but I have no complaints. Checked in around 8:30 and left by 7:00. Had my dog with me. All was good. Thank you.

Great owners very nice people who have a nice hotel. There is no pool area up and running but the price you're going to pay is very competitive. Ask yourself if the pool is worth $60-$90 more per night others charge. Extensive channel lineup continental breakfast with a beautifully appointed lobby and breakfast "nook" lots of natural wood with the up nort' cabin feel. Very close to the amazing Shell Lake swim beach! Swim there forget the chlorine, and spend your money at a family owned and operated lodging business. If opulence is your thing you've driven 75 miles too far Nort' my friends. Give the Amerivue Inn a try its got good vibrations and lots of Love.

Amazing time here. Owner was extremely friendly and very hospitable. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely be staying here again. Owner/front desk lady helped out in every way she could.

clean comfortable room. Everything worked. The whole motel was clean and very well maintained. I love a real pottery coffee cup. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We were given a handicap room and it was wonderful. We definitely will stay here again.

The staff was so nice and friendly! My room was very clean and the lobby was just fantastic. I sat in the bar for a few hours and had a great relaxing time. Spent some time in the pool (which was very clean and very fun with the slides and the hot tub). Overall one of the nicest stays I've had in a hotel. Will be coming back for sure!

We had an excellent stay. Nice bar area for us hockey parents to hang out in. They had excellent pizza that was very cheap. Our room was large and clean. Raj the manager and his wife were excellent hosts. If back in the area we would stay again.

The room with the jacuzzi tub is great and very clean. The staff are the nicest people. I absolutely love the interior of the building! Will definitely be coming back.

We spent a few days here on a mini Spring Break, and we had a wonderful time! The hotel is clean, and the service was fantastic. They went above and beyond. The pool was perfect for our kiddos-2,4,&6. They bounced between the kiddie pool and the big pool all day. It was so much more relaxing than a big water park with the little ones. We stayed in the suite, which gave us some separation from the kids at night, and the whirlpool tub was a plus! We'll be back!

We stayed there last weekend. They accommodated our last minute request for 2 rooms. All areas visited were clean and replenished. Hot tub was HOT like it should be. Sauna was also HOT as expected. Pool was clean but not overpowered with the smell of chlorine!! It was a quiet well rested night. We will see you again. Thank you.

Very Nice and Beautiful Visit, Definitely will come back!
It is a very beautiful place for my family and I to visit. I had brought my entire family, once again to enjoy the stay. They have a very beautiful and cozy hotel and their service and staff was also very helpful. The lobby was really a lovely place to relax and my family and I even talked to the owners who were nothing but kind and appreciated with us coming back again to enjoy the stay. The breakfast was set out early in order for all of the guests that needed to check out early and the housekeeping service was also very clean. My family and I had loved the complimentary breakfast, which included amazing waffles to start the day with and, on the other hand, a fun pool, many slides for my children to enjoy and a hot tub and sauna for my husband and I to enjoy. Definitely would recommend this place to anybody that is a local or is passing by it is definitely worth the time to stay!

A great experience. The current operators are very friendly and very hard workers. Our room was clean and cheerful and there were even china cups for the coffee. Little things count.
The pool area is a little Oasis and...adults are welcome.

I read one very negative report that almost kept me away from this hotel. I am glad I decided to check for myself. The reviewer was either Grinch or wasn't in Shell Lake.

My wife and I will certainly be returning to this clean friendly hotel.

If you're looking for a place to stay with hospitality that is second to none, clean rooms, an affordable price, and great location, AmeriVu Inn in Shell Lake is a must-stay destination. Not only did the staff take the time to get to know us personally upon our arrival, they were there for us day and night, regardless of our needs.
We traveled 5 hours and arrived to the hotel an hour early on the first day; the man behind the desk (Indian descent) immediately got us into a clean room without an extra charge. He also let us know about the pizza specials that the hotel had to offer, along with the fact that he opens up the bar for patrons of the hotel only. It's not open to the public, making it a unique experience for those who stay at the Amerivu Inn. After a long drive, we sampled the pizza, and it was delicious and filling. The same man from behind the desk waited on us in the bar and gave my daughter a free Gatorade:)
After the pizza, we checked out the pool area. There was a kiddie pool for toddlers with a cute slide. There was also a hot tub for 10, a sauna and a pool that could accommodate over 40. In the pool area, there were two slides that my 8-year-old, along with my 16 and 19 year old all enjoyed. The pool was heated and comfortable.
The first morning of our two-night stay, I woke up early (5 a.m.) to do some trout fishing. The owners (I assume) were already up getting breakfast ready (served 6-9 a.m. at no extra cost). Various juices were provided, along with cereal, waffles, bananas, bagels, muffins, mini donuts, etc. The hotel was within 8 minutes (by car) of my trout fishing destination.
Both nights my family and I stayed at the Amerivu, we were up past 11 p.m. Each time we went downstairs (only two floors that I could see), the owners were still busy at work (helping patrons, on the phone with customers, etc.), even at that late hour.

It was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The bed's were comfy and soft. The breakfast was delicious. I came here with my family and my kids enjoyed the pool. They loved the slides and the kiddie pool. The pool was so clean you could see right through it. The staff and the owners and the front desk were very polite. The best thing were the rates. They were exceptionally great and affordable. The rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom had all the necessities. Great up to date TV's. Wifi was fast.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful. This is my 3rd trip to this area, and this hotel is by far my favorite. I will recommend, and be staying here for future visits.

Comfortable hotel with excellent location to Shell Lake, shopping, and dining. Great service. Friendly, helpful employees! Clean. Has a nice indoor pool with slides for the kids, a kiddie pool for toddlers, plus sauna and hot tub for adults! Something for everyone! Has curb appeal too!

This is the second time stay at this hotel very nice northwood decoration, The pool is huge with waterslide ,great place to be with kids and family , the rooms are spacious and very clean .
There was a lady at front very helpful , She told me she was the new manager , was very polite and understanding .
She walked me through the new lounge they have added to the property for hotel guests only .
Will recommend to everybody . Yes i stayed in a Jacuzzi room the control is by the bed and the door too as i was going through the reviews one of the guest was not able to turn the Jaccuzzi on .
I tell you with reading all the reviews and staying at the property , i think the staff will help u immediately if there are any issues which i see there are non. The staff is very accommodating.

Very nice northwoods decor, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean, bath and shower were nice. Great place to stay. Great value. They even let me get breakfast a few minutes late. Good people run this hotel.
