Ricos Tacos

Authentic Mexican food, served hot and fresh. Initially we were skeptical based on its location. But, we tried and the food was excellent.

, So good! Also the two young men working at the burrito station were so helpful and enjoyable

I eat here a couple times a month. The food is always delicious, the employees are great, and the owner is great! 5 stars for sure! Edit: haven't been here in awhile and just had lunch, still delicious as always!

Great place to eat, clean, friendly and the food is the best in town! My wife and I go there all the time. You won't be disappointed!

Edit: I went back. I was going to take a photo of the California burrito for this review but I couldn't stop eating it long enough. The steak is delicious! And the hot salsa has a wonderful kick. I'm furious that im only in Yreka for work. 5/5

Amazing food! Very impressive for a small town

I love the food here, and the service is just as great!! My go to is the Asada fries and chicken floutas. Perfect every time!

I'm only speaking to the street style tacos here. That's all I do. Excellent! The real thing. Crispy charred pork al pastor, juicy tender carnitas, and pretty good carne asada. She asked if I wanted salsa, and brought me a mini-salsa bar. Seriously? Because it was attached to a gas station on Google Maps, I thought it was one of those generics. Very pleasantly surprised.

Good food, great prices ! The green sauce was excellent. Not great on decor but they make up for it with lots of dish choices and good service, and with relaxed atmosphere I'll definitely be back.👍

Good food and good salsa.

Can taste the genuine love and respect chef has creating his food. Unique for a taco joint. It's not the most beautiful location, big bright space, which almost turned me off, but I'm sure glad I didn't let my judgement get in the way of such exceptional Mexican food.

I visited Ricos Tacos while I was road tripping up to Seattle. I ordered the Shrimp Diablo dish which was absolutely scrumptious and had plenty of shrimp to fill up 4 tortillas worth. I ended up forgetting my wallet at the restaurant and didn’t realize until several hours later when I stopped for gas in Oregon. I called the restaurant and they kindly offered to ship me my wallet all the way to Washington. I just received my wallet, and I can’t say thank you enough. These people truly care about their customers and their food is fantastic to boot!

stopped here quick on a road trip. quick service and great burritos. the spicy sauce was very good. both birria and al pastor were delicious.

I got off work late the other night and wanted tacos... but it was 15 min to close at Rico's and being a chef I hate going to places at close. But we went anyways and they stayed open and had friendly and quick service! Some of the best tacos I've had in a long time! Thanks guys!

If you are looking for a decent Chili Relleño anywhere in Siskiyou County, Rico's Tacos is the only name you need to know! Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff every time you go in. Quick service, excellent salsas, and great family recipes make this a wonderful lunch or dinner restaurant. Highly recommended 😃

Every time I go to Rico's Tacos I am greeted with a friendly smile. There food is great and their service is fast. My husband and son loves going here several times a month.

I am Mexican and I do have to say that Rico's Tacos are some of the best I've ever had. Their salsa is very authentic, it reminded me of my Mom's. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for authentic tacos like you would find in central Mexico.

Best burritos in town, by A LOT. my go-to lunch spot - I usually order the burrito supreme with steak and it's always delicious and made to perfection. Rico's Tacos does not disappoint!

Thought I'd lost Rico's - didn't realize they'd simply moved - and today I found them. Had the best verde sauce on enchiladas that I've ever had. Hot. Freshly made. Delicious. Rico had the best food truck in the area some years ago before turning off the engine and moving into a small building in Yreka. I had many dishes there, all good, particularly the carnitas burrito (my husband swore by the soft tacos...). Now in a somewhat larger restaurant setting just off the central Yreka exit behind the gas station, Rico amd his family are still cooking up a storm. If today's first meal in their "new" digs is any indication, the food is still excellent and I'll be back again and again.

Great food. The only downside was the lack of staff. I think the waiter was also the cook, but we were one of the only ones there so service was fast and food was excellent!
