Jim and Steven took good care of me. It is a long wait since they are so good and COVID has slowed down some parts delivery. The wait was worth it though. Got my Excursion upgraded to some stiffer taller F-250 springs with Rancho shocks. Also replaced the glow plugs. Starts and drives like a champ and looks good doing it! Thanks guys!

I broke down on a Tuesday on my way to Arizona. Steve was great, had my Ram towed to his shop with a lot of issues, he had my truck repaired and I was on my way the next day. Would highly recommend them for any problems you might have.

One of if not the most honest place I ever brought my van. We were passing through and a engine light went on in my diesel van. They were completely busy and booked for weeks. I shared with them my challenge and Rhett said to bring it in and they would run a test but could not work on it because they were booked. They said, “at least you will have peace of mind knowing if anything is wrong.” Steve took the time to help and wonderfully nothing was wrong. Long story short, they went out of there way knowing we were traveling, when they simply could have said, “we’re to busy!” A great place, good people. Thank you.

Jim from American Diesel has amazing customer service. We have had a terrible road trip and getting caught in Yreka due to fires closing the i5. Ended up with car troubles. We pulled in here and he has been nothing short of amazing. He knows his stuff. Super friendly and gave my husband lots of good information on how to keep our diesel healthy.

I am a Wildland Firefighter and crewboss of a 20 person crew. When nobody for a 40 mile radius had our part, they did. Not only did they have it but were willing to deliver for no extra charge. Knowing we were stranded high in the mountains and on an active fire line! How many stars can I give them?

Showed up with an emergency fuel leak. Mechanic did his best to fix on the spot, but the truck needed some work. Although we were stranded, they immediately had me on the phone with car rental service and gave us a ride to pick the car up. After a few days, I got the truck back and now runs great. The bill was extremely affordable and they offer military discount. I would definitely go back and recommend their service!

Jim and his outstanding crew replaced a stuck thermostat on my 97' 12 Valve and had me up and running again. I was traveling through and on a Friday afternoon he fitted me in and took care of me. Highly recommend this company for all your diesel service and high performance needs!!

We were heading north on I-5, before Mt. Shasta, when our 2009 Diesel PU's check engine light came on and started reducing power. Did I mention, we were towing out RV and it was 4 PM. I started calling repair shops on the way, Mt. Shasta, Weed, and Yreka. American Diesel in Yreka said they would help us. By the time we got there it was 4:50 PM. They stayed late for us, diagnosing the problem. We had to wait until the next day for the part to come in. They worked diligently and got us on the road. Traveling from San Diego to Portland and we woke up and heard some squealing before the pass. Called other shops and we ended up here. They were busy but fit us in with our Medium Duty truck ASAP. Jim hopped into the cab and confirmed what we thought. He called got the parts we need and we were on the road in no time. Super friendly staff. Oh and our truck wasn't a diesel but they serviced. Pricing was fair and 100% give these guys a call.

Good service! Knowledgeable Mechanics! Professional Prices! I'm not a shill! Had a older Dodge overheating, He [Jim] figured out the problem right away [ bad water pump]; Upsold a new thermostat mostly as a preventative maintenance measure, which makes sense given the vehicle. Glad they were open.

While passing thru yreka coming home from an RV trip my dodge diesel began acting up. We where able to make it to an RV park where the owners recommended Jim at American diesel. It was 4:30pm and even though he was about to close he checked out my truck and by the morning had my dodge up and running to make it home! Thank you for going above and beyond and helping us out! I was on my way to oregon when my truck broke down. Had it towed there. Unfort. I lost a cyclinder and had to get it out and back home. But the guys knew i was traveling with my family and kids. They got my truck in a diagnosed as quick ad possible. If i lived closer, i would continue to take trucks there. Beyond nice and were more then fair on the price of having to diag my truck.

Jim is an amazing mechanic who is super honest, hardworking, and efficient. He got my Duramax in and out quickly for a fair price. I would highly recommend this business!

Now a days its hard to find a business with integrity and I vouch for these guys in this regard. I kinda forced my car on them and they told me they were extremely busy, probably because they do good work, in the end they gave me a free diagnostic cus they could not commit staff to the labor. Good people!

Had trouble with getting help from my dealership authorizing a repair on my GM truck (under warranty) by a non Gm dealership American diesel did the repairs and sent me a letter to give to my dealer in Oregon my dealership authorized reimbursement THANKS
