Motel 6 Yreka, CA

Room's were awesome I think the only place in the whole country where I got a smoking room. Room was very clean and DID NOT smell like SMOKE service was awesome

I checked in on 11/25/2023. The guy at the front desk was helpful with information on the restaurants in the area. The room was clean and everything worked. The price was great and that is why I stayed there. Motel 6 has a standard that you can expect.

Excellent experience and clean rooms. Everyone that works there treats you like family.

Fantastic room for the price. Robert is super professional and knowledgeable on where to eat. He’s a great resource for out-of-towners. The room was simple and worth every penny. I’ll certainly stay here again next time I’m traveling in the area. Light switch in the bathroom could use some bleach, though. Kinda gross.

I was able to check in a little after noon, the room I wanted was available, single non smoking on the ground floor. I'm bicycle touring and so far all of the Motel 6 have allowed me to keep my bike in the room. They have hardwood flooring which seems cleaner than carpet, and more bike friendly. Room was clean and smelled fresh. I also was able to do self serve laundry on site, machines clean and working well, and reasonable prices, with soap available for purchase.

Check in was very quick and thorough, desk clerk was very courteous. Room was clean, well stocked with towels. Only minor things missing was a clock radio ( but this Day and age everyone has smartphones) and tissue. It was a quick night sleep while on the road. Great Value. I was concerned at first with number of monthly guests about noise, didn't hear a peep all night. Complex clean and well maintained. I would stay again for a quick overnight. Plenty of fast food and convenience stores within walking distance. Only negative was issues with the room key had to have re-coded 2xs.

Thank you so much for letting us check in at such an odd time and being extra flexible. We were so exhausted from our long drive and we ended up here around 5am. We were welcomed with such a nice front desk person, our room light was on, AND so was the heater. If we ever do this crazy long drive again, I will definitely stop by here.

I'm 65 yrs old and very fussy about staying in a clean room and have a safe place around me. This room was clean as a whistle, the bed had clean sheets as well. The bathroom was spotless.
I hate paying over a hundred per night just because of cheap trinkets on the walls. So, the room is not fancy, but hey I'm sleeping..
The night gal was just a great lady and hard worker, how i wish I had gotten her name.
I highly recommend this place !

This living space is right off the 5N, with a welcoming staff who was happy to talk to you with a smile. Rooms were clean and simple, with running water, temperature control, a working TV, WIFI on request and enough space to stow luggage. The little dinner table and study table also added some comfort. Go to Black Bear Diner literally next door, for some comfort food. Bonus points if you can find the herd of cats living off the property. Lots of shady trees help keep the heat off your vehicle as well

The gal that checked me in was outstanding. When I made my reservation online, I requested a quiet room. She seemed genuinely concerned about finding me a quiet room and did just that. I was also able to park my motorcycle in a parking stall directly in front of the office, as there were no parking stalls in front of the room. This provided a layer of security for my bike and peace of mind for me. Motel 6's are a hit and miss. This location was a hit.

I stay here every time we travel north and return - so twice a year about and I will continue to stay here in future. On the way up I enjoyed the handicap room I had - my car was close and it was quiet at night - meaning my neighbors were not awake all night - the second night on my way home I stayed again and no fault of yours the handicap area was booked already and I had to stay in a room in the back - the bed wasn't as comfortable and the neighbors were noisy but the room got the job done and I thank you for keeping the light on - see you next year.
BTW all employees were extremely friendly and efficient - thank you to them.

Best Motel 6 I've stayed at. Very clean, fridge and microwave, nice tub, coffeemaker, premium channels. Location had construction on street, so that was not ideal.

I am writing this review to give a shout out to Sabrina in the office. She was very kind, positive, patient, personable and professional during our check-in. Once my husband and I got to our room, Sabrina called to check if everything was satisfactory. I’ve never received a call like that before. I don’t normally leave reviews, but felt this one was necessary because Sabrina deserves acknowledgment!

When i walked in to get a room for the night I instantly felt welcome. The lady that was working that night was very helpful, sweet, kind, caring, and had an amazing aura. Her Name was Sam and she did Great. When i walked into my room I noticed everything was cleaned very thoroughly. I actually even left a tip. Motel 6 here in Yreka is not the same as it once was quite some years ago. It use to be a bit schetchy, and unclean. Id imagine that developed some stigma of how people look at motel 6. I would like to say that this establishment has improved exceptionally in everyway. I will Continue To stay here. A+++++++

Best for the price and always kind helpful staff

Handy to Black Bear Diner where additional truck parking is available. I came in late at night and this popular traveler's oasis was full. At the night clerk's suggestion I asked the Diner's manager if I could park there. She was gracious, said "Yes" and I made sure to have breakfast there before hitting the road earl the next morning.

My room was clean, comfortable and the ac made sleeping great.

I stayed there for a couple nights and it wss clean. quiet and cheap. My only complaint was that the room was upstairs in the front and the stairs were in back of building and parking was up front so its a long ways to carry all my things. Unless ur handy capped cuz that is the only parking near stairs. But over all it was a great place to stay and the lady at front desk sas super nice and housekeeper was by far the nicest person i met in the whole town. Had no problem with bringing my dog either and there was no extra charge like at most motels. Highly recomend. Thanks

We had the unfortunate luck of having car trouble on the summit, coming from Oregon. When looking for a pet friendly hotel in Yreka, we found this motel 6. I've got to say, regardless of the missing refrigerator (which I seldom use anyway) the hotel was in an excellent location, the staff was helpful and friendly, the room was extremely clean, had a large shower, several tv channels and the price was great! I am an animal lover so my dogs are my babies and they most always travel with us. Knowing this Motel chain's open pet friendly policy, I'll never stay at another hotel/motel chain again! I will certainly be making this our stay-over hotel for our future trips to CA.

Yreka has very clean rooms they're on top of everything they are always nice is always warm coffee in the morning all around good people. I enjoyed my stay in Siskiyou County at both Motel 6 s that are in the area. Sincerely sincerely you're satisfied customer

This is a quite nice Motel 6. It has grass and trees around it. Easy access off the freeway. Lots of parking. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.

There is a Black Bear Diner right next door. Where are gas stations and fast food restaurants nearby as well. Yreka has a very nice downtown historic district.
