Pioneer Bar

I drove up to Cable, Wisconsin & got a chance check out Pioneer Bar. I'm glad I did. The staff is as welcoming as any I've encountered anywhere, and the food was AWESOME! I had steak & eggs; turned out it was one of the best steaks I've ever had.

So many positives and zero negatives... Start with "clean place." Very clean. Was not expecting a Wisconsin tavern to be this clean! New OWNERS are very young and talented I will come back just to cheer them on. Food was amazing, 10 of us came in for lunch and Lisa the Bartender took our order quickly and the food came out just as fast. My favorite might be the homemade blue cheese dressing! What? Homemade.? Yes, what a treat. Everybody loved the food and the inside is a wonderful display of wildlife, tastefully arranged ... Solid 5 Stars.

Super hospitable bartender. Good food. Reasonable prices. They have a pool table, big buck hunter, some video poker, and bar games. They have seating inside and outside.

Amazing taxidermy inside. Deer, bobcat, fish, Elk, caribou, and bear.

Met some old friends at the Pioneer Super Bowl Sunday. Friends very late getting there but the bartender made me feel right at home with coffee while I waited; even showed me how to use WI-FI CALLING! Friends and I agreed we had a great breakfast. Our hosts told us to stay & visit as long as we wanted. Hospitality at its best. We’ll be back!

We tried a blue cheese burger and a grilled chicken sammie. The food was great. This was our first time here and received friendly service. Great bar in Northern Wisconsin. We will certainly be back to visit.

Been looking for a good burger that is not over priced. Burger is nice and big and a lot of chips. I am allergic to Onions and she did great on protecting me when making my food. Only thing I would change is that credit card, I never have cash, so need to use ATM so cash $2.50 just to get the food, would like to be able to give that $2.50in the tip not the ATM.

Great small town bar. Great food and even better service! They have gas for your SxS, wheeler or boat. Atmosphere was very family friendly. Saw all ages from a month old to 80 yrs. Everyone enjoyed the night. I will go back next time I'm in the area

We drive over an hour to have breakfast here. Absolutely amazing!! Hands down the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had! Highly recommend

Bluecheese burger and a spotted cow beer. Went there last night with my Dad, hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had. I'll see you guys again when I'm in town. Very chill atmosphere, good food, great people.

Great small town bar. Friendly staff, reasonable drink prices, clean facility. Located on Lake Namakagon, a very pretty drive by auto or boat. Great place to visit all year long. Men, check out the bathroom "mirror";)

7 of us for dinner. Burgers and chicken sandwiches were delicious. Super generous with the cheese curds which pleased the kids. Owner, Chance, is very welcoming. Be back soon.

Drove from Park Falls with 3 friends to see Chanz. Great visit, and great food. Will be sure to come back.
