Fernbridge Cafe & Coffee Barn

Pretty awesome spot, finally had time to pop in for brunch, on our way to Ferndale. The staff was super friendly and the food was amazing! I got the veggie eggs benni with a side of extra crispy bacon and my hubs got the biscuits and gravy, very good. We will definitely be back!

Great place to eat food was excellent. I got the chicken steak and some hot chocolate.

This was our second visit in a number of years. The staff, food and atmosphere is still great. A wonderful place to have breakfast and recharge. Certainly will be back if in the area again!

Great spot. Good food. They were kind enough to add a salad instead of fruit to my breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised it was fresh spring greens, onions, tomatoes, cucumber and feta with a nice vinegrette. Much more than I was expecting. Rue toast was delicious and over easy eggs were perfect. Tea was delicious and kept filled.

Friendly, quick service and delicious food! Everything was perfectly cooked and waitstaff was very attentive but not overbearing. Decor is fun and very Ferndale. The actual building is rustic, beautiful and huge, but feels homey and comfortable. Portions are generous and coffee tastes like really top notch brew. Based on the Ridgetop Benedict I would also buy their beef, which they sell in house. Great place and plenty of space to bring a whole group on the way to Ferndale or don't mind a very short trip from the Loleta Cheese Factory

I came back recently for another visit. Still tasty as ever but the vibes are much nicer. Inviting signs on the interior are a welcome sight. Really my favorite breakfast/brunch place in the county. The chicken sandwich is excellent. My favorite breakfast is eggs with potatoes and sausage links. Everything is prepared with taste in mind.
I can also add that the cookies have been improved.
The only con I have is that the lighting is still too dim for my preference and sometimes it’s a little chilly.

I like the politeness of the servers and the home kitchen atmosphere. Great prices and portion worth it most of all friendly environment .

blink and you'll miss this gem if you're heading to Ferndale. just across from Fernbridge, this place uses many local, organic, and regenerative ingredients and the cookery matches the quality of ingredients. given that, prices are comparable to other breakfast joints using cheap conventional ingredients.

small staff, often only one server, but just relax and enjoy the atmosphere!

We went on a Saturday morning, we did expect a wait.
Aside from that the service was great. The wait staff was doing their best.

The food was great. I am not a fan of biscuits and grace, but here you MUST try the gravy.
The family agreed the pulled pork was also a winner.

Loved this place.... Kind of feels like Grandma's house... Order something small plate sizes are big...... Bring your appetite...

Owners are awesome, they may not be able to spell not-so-common names (as mentioned in a previous bad review by some PMS-ing lady) but the food is great, service is impeccable, and best of all they always give you free jerky!! Love this place!!

The food here is great! You won't find any opened can's because Everything is made from scratch. The only place I'll eat at for breakfast or lunch when I'm in town.

We love this cozy cafe! The food is consistently great, the coffee is excellent, and the owner (who often waits tables herself!) is kind and welcoming. If you go for breakfast, don't miss the pancakes... they're so good, and they're served with warm syrup❤🥞

Great decor and friendly service. Food was excellent too. One of the best breakfasts we've had in a long time. Love that they use local products in their dishes too. Highly recommend!

The best chicken fried steak I've had in my entire life and that's saying something. Everything was amazing. This is my ne go to spot for breakfast on the coast. We'll worth the drive from Eureka! Their gravy is life altering. Highly recommend them.

The food is sooo yummy. Best country potatoes I've ever had, they were perfectly seasoned, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, and that was just the side! The eggs Benedict was 10/10, seriously, they must have gordon Ramsey cooking back there it was THAT good.

Loved it all! The atmosphere, the food, the whole experience was lovely. Great breakfast burritos and hash. The waitress was very nice and accommodating, and we got some tasty local goodies to go on the road. I would definitely come back and plan on it next time I'm through the area.

Ordered omelets! Amazing! Fresh avocado on top. Food was cooked to order and delivered hot! The staff worked together to assure all our needs were met promptly. The coffee mug was never close to empty. (Coffee tasted so fresh!)
