I thought wrong about them they did come through for me.

This law firm is known to lie and submit false documents in court and allows its clients to commit perjury in their cases. Miss ludwig is a vile and unprofessional and does not check facts before submitting false allegations to the courts. These people are a disgrace to the justice system and have no professionalism among their staff.

The first thing I would like to point out is that this attorney is promoting himself through false advertisement. I heard about Travis Stroud on 97.5 radio station and he stated that he was in the Sacramento area also that HE practiced family law. The convenience of him being in Sacramento was one of the reasons we decided to give him a call. However, when we called him we were told that he is not in Sacramento and is about 1.5 to 2 hours away. When initially making contact we explained that we were looking for an African American family law attorney and that we wanted to meet with HIM in person. Even after specifying exactly what we were looking for, it was suggested that we meet remotely instead of in person. Yes, that would have been convenient for us but not what we wanted. We didn't mind driving to meet in person to get what we hoped would be a good experience which would lead to retaining him to represent us. On the day of our SCHEDULED IN-PERSON meeting, we prepared for the meeting and drove to the meeting (2 HOURS AWAY). When we arrived at the office we were #1, told that Travis was not in (NOT AVAILABLE FOR HIS SCHEDULED IN-PERSON MEETING) #2 that the other attorney in the office (A CAUCASIAN, or what appeared to be a caucasian woman) was the person who handles family law. We made it very clear that we were looking for a BLACK attorney. The advertisement was on a radio station that attracts predominantly a BLACK audience. I'm sure Travis is aware of the high need for black families in the Sacramento area that could benefit from being represented by a black family law attorney or what ever other areas of law he practices (I'M PRETTY SURE THAT'S WHY HE DECIDED TO ADVERTISE ON 97.5). Anybody can pay for some air time or a web page to promote themself and their business but when you promote yourself falsely to get customers and you don't honor what you say that's bad business and you won't last, ESPECIALLY IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY.

This lawyer likes to flat out lie and state that something got filed and that they "got a phone call from the court house" when I had just spoke with the courthouse and they have no idea what he's talking about. The clerk also stated this lawyer has "quite the reputation", and she didn't mean in a good way. Shame on you! Thank you for wasting my time. Do you know now that you aren't dealing with someone who doesn't know what they are doing?

I have continued to call to get our $500. Will drawn up; it's been over 8 months. I don't get called back. When I'm told I'll get a call, I'm ready to get my $500 back and go to a different place.

EXTREMELY RUDE! Called to get information on a case and was talked down to then hung up on. WOW! Also just a side note totally lied about court hearing and forgery at its finest. Go ANYWHERE but here.

What some of you need to do is contact the bar association on this person. Someone like this should not be a lawyer.
