Safeway

Safeway is always there and they always have what we need especially Safeway on Nord in Chico, and the employees are very nice and helpful and so are the managers.

The night manager here is just awesome! Super friendly and she was patient with me (not everyone can be lol especially at midnight when i run in through the door at 11:59 saying I'm just going to grab one thing!) The store was clean and pleasant, the night before when i went the deli employee was just as pleasant and i from those trips alone will definitely be back!

The people who are very nice and the floral department! The Deli is good and sometimes has deals on their fried Chicken which is amazing

Clean great service no bakery though but if calling ahead they will try to accommodate and they do have a flower area and deli and a meat area to buy fresh food. Has bathrooms in the back of the store. Sells ice, bundles of wood, baby formula, gift cards, they have redbox, change machine, lotto machine for scratchers, western union, stamps, Bottle water.

Great customer service and great Deals

Easily accessed off the i-5 plenty of parking clean easy to move around in the store great for a quick pickup and go.

I had the BEST sandwich in the world. The man who was making them laughed Nd joked and was so very friendly. I was extremely impressed by him. Thank you for putting up with out Shanahans...

Awesome night crew people as of 3 years ago!!! But Sadly this year 2021 I walked into the store it smelled like something dead. The milk area was so gross and looked like milk splatter everywhere smelt so sour 😫 we are from out of town now, but coming to a place I grew up from and seeing this unclean environment was very disturbing. Health inspectors need to visit here often.

Love there produce hands down the freshest in town in my opinion. Customer service is fine and store is clean all in all 5 stars :)

I always buy my meat from their meat department. Check out the display case for great entree choices.

The best PRIME RIB price for Christmas, $5.99 a pound, I Could afford something special for Christmas Dinner.

Great selection of deli salami and decent cheeses. Missing manchego though. Checkout clerk was very friendly and helpful. They have locally roasted coffee beans as well!

Well stocked (could use more cat food of various brands, some ran out) very clean, helpful with direction to certain parts of the store. Checker clean & friendly.

We'll maintained store in Corning. The produce department was a big Wow for me. It was laid out beautifully. I walked viewing vibrant hues of red, yellow and green. That was just the bell peppers.

Good, friendly service & staff. They try to keep lines short by calling for help when more than 3 are waiting in line. Good variety and good quality products with good sales every so often.

I go to Safeway because of the bakery the have this cake called "Cookies n Cream" that is to die for! You can't find cake yummier then that anywhere. I love Safeway's bakeries.

Another of the many clean
, well stocked and friendly Safeway stores. Enjoyed shopping there while we were in town in our rv. Might go back tomorrow. Safeway has long been a California fixture and this one was top notch as well.
