Ocean Pearl Chinese Restaurant

Went here with my Dad, who usually prefers a buffet because he doesn't know what to order, but I picked this place because it had lots of options on the menu. The menu also had pictures of the majority of meals they offered, which helped him out a lot when making a decision. They also offer a variety of combo specials, which is what I got (see picture). The portions served were more than generous and were mighty delicious. The manager/owner stopped by our table to check on us and was very friendly. This place was definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants we've been to!

They have buffet from 11am to 3 pm. We came at 5 pm and were seated right away. The server was friendly and provided us with great food suggestions. The food was delicious and total wait time was approximately 15-20 minutes. Also, portions are really big, so you might consider food sharing! I recommend this place!

Food and a show. The Chinese is fantastic, fresh fast and delicious, we ate there. I can't emphasize enough how fresh the food is.
For the show...the owner is a character...she yucks it up with the customers...she was kinda funny...opinion...I think the food was really reasonably priced...comparatively...I've seen chinese food cost way more and gotten way less...

We had the Deluxe Lo Mein with extra vegetables to go. It was absolutely delicious! The portion was huge. We ordered it two days in a row. The hostess and waitstaff were very friendly and courteous. I would definitely come back again if we come back to Cortez.

Chicken lo mein was very good 👍 the portion sizes was massive, what I orderd could feed 2 people easily. highly recommend 👌

Like the beef and mix vegi. Very similar with Asia Chinese food taste. Lady boss made special request that customer was Chinese. She know what we like.

Best Chinese food we've had in a long long time. Glad we stopped in. Great service, no long wait, and super sized portions. We had enough for lunch the next day!!! So in if you're in Cortez... you won't be disappointed.

Exceeded expectations, Great service and Great food. Visiting from out of town we were recommend this place, and it did not disappoint. The food was on point.

We took our food to go but the staff were great and fun to watch do their thing. Food was very good. Hot and fresh. The portions were reasonable. The fact that it was really good made it with it. This was our first visit and I usually take pics but this I didn't, so sorry. We had three combo specials, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Orange Chicken, and I had the Sweet and Sour Shrimp. All came with Chicken Lomain, Spring Rolls and Egg Drop Soup. Again, everything was great and well packaged for our travel home.

Food is good, staff are friendly, service was fast.

If you want true Cantonese flavor...here you have got it. We were glad to run into this place on such a remote area such as Cortez. It is a cherry on top of such a nice town. That roasted duck is superior!

We have been in Cortez 10 days and have eaten here 3 times the food is great and the owner is fantastic!! She has opened her arms to all customers. We will go again on Sunday. That is how wonderful the food is and the atmosphere. The food price is very reasonable . And you leave full. Thanks

Ocean Pearl is the best. The food is excellent! The service is excellent and the staff is super nice. They go out of their way to accommodate. Your food arrives very quick. I would give more stars if I was able. Try them out. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely, local place! Friendly, hardworking staff. Quick service. Great food! I got the Singapore Vermicelli Noodle dish—yum! The Egg Drop soup was really delicious. If you’ve never had Thai Tea, it is really good here. You should definitely try it. Would definitely recommend and we’ll be back.

Our 1st time in Cortez, Co. We saw The Ocean Pearl Chinese Restaurant open so we decided to stop. I'm glad we did because we were seated immediately and Ms. LiLy was AMAZING. THIS WAS THE BEST FOOD IN THE ENTIRE TOWN.

Good food and service at fair prices.

The food was amazing! The staff were extra friendly. Everything came out fast and hot. Would definitely eat here again!

We were on vaca and we decided chinese would be a nice change. There wasno wait. We were greeted with smiles and seated. I ordered zeshuan chicken. It was excellent and the sauce was authentic and not the ordinary sugary brown sauce many places use. Others in our party ordered curry chicken (confirmed excellent), deluxe lomein (confirmed very good), Garlic chicken (confirmed average good) . During our meal we heared a little commotion going on and some raised voices from behind us. Apparently a couple had recently received their food and subsequently told the owner (very kind older vietnamese woman) that her Beef Pho noodle soup smelled like a toilet.
She became so upset at the insult of her food which she apparantly makes homemade everyday. Long story short, the couple left with no apologies and the owner remained very upset. Given the fact that we were eating our food already and it was otherwise great food, i just had to get a smell or taste or lay eyes on this infamas beef Pho noodle soup. I decided to ask for a small sample. The owner abliged me and brought out a small bowl of Beef Pho. My whole family tried it and we all loved it. My wife said that it was the best pho she has ever had. This restaurant is excellent, the food is excellent, and if we are ever in this area again we will definitely come back. And try the Pho it great.
