Eisenhower Hotel & Conference Center

We liked the restaurant, the lounge was great, the staff friendly and helpful. The on-site deli was great. They have an indoor heated pool. Also an arcade with some family games. Work out room. A great place for conventions. The breakfast in the morning was great.
The rooms were clean and adequate.

It was 90% empty but comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the indoor pool. The free breakfast was good. There was a arcade and a few slot machines in the hall. The gift shop was closed. Overall I enjoyed the whole place.

I've stayed at the Eisenhower for a week in April for several years now and it keeps getting better! I love this hotel. I love that the dog-friendly rooms have luxury vinyl plank floors. I always request a courtyard room for the convenience of taking my dogs out. Our room was very clean. The shower water was nice and hot, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I have already reserved a room for next April. The renovations are ongoing and I look forward to seeing all the new improvements next year.

Stayed here for fathers day weekend. It is very close to the Battlefield and town so lots of great restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff were extremely nice. The pool room I believe is undergoing renovations from the looks of it. Breakfast was great and lots of options. The bartender at the bar was a sweetheart. Room was clean and updated. Wonderful weekend, will stay here again.

Great service by KATHY. She made sure we were happy. We had to change rooms due to a faulty air conditioner, This happened smoothly. We requested more towels and a hair dyer and were supplied these very promptly. Had a very happy stay. thanks .

Location is great. It is off from the tourist area. The room was super clean. Some renovating needs to be done and they are working on renovations. The Breakfast Buffet was great and better then most in the area.

I started going to this hotel in the late seventies as a student at Gettysburg College. It was basically new then. Now, many of the features are almost unchanged like the pool area and game room. That's actually a good thing because it adds to the charm.
The rooms have been pleasantly updated, the staff is wonderful, and it remains a pleasant facility at a very affordable price.

It's located fairly close to Emmitsburg and Mt Saint Mary's, so it's a great place to stay if the college or town of E-burg is what brings you to the area. One other really nice thing about the location of the Eisenhower is that your super close to G-Burg, but at the same time not right in the middle of the tourist hustle and bustle. The location is a restful break from all of that but still a stone's throw to get to it when you wish.

Wonderful staff, very clean! Prices are wonderful, the pool is great, you can also get rooms literally pool side, walk out of your room into the pool area. Has an arcade, a deli and literally a few seconds away from restaurants and Gettysburg park. Tons of paranormal sightings and stories in the area! So much fun. Highly recommend

First time here and it's super close to the battle fields of Gettysburg and all it has to offer for historical significance!!
The rooms are spacious, well kept and the staff is friendly. The continental breakfast is good too!!

The staff was super friendly and made for a great visit. From Kathy at the front desk who started our visit off. What a quick wit, we had a funny conversation that left us both laughing. Then the lovely older lady who prepares the breakfast, she's been there for a number of years and really made for a nice visit. The breakfast buffet was great by the way. The building is currently undergoing extensive renovations but they didn't affect us at all. The heated pool has been updated and is very nice, hot tub was closed however. On site restaurant with easy room service made some great grub, pizza, salads, tater skins and such. A really nice plus. The location is great, just a 3 or 4 miles from downtown gettysburg and minutes south of the battlefield/cemetery. These few minutes will save you hundreds per night from the hotels in town, well worth it. Beds & pillows were as comfy as Disney resorts, no kidding. Overall the place is great, it's dated as it was built in the 70's, but the renovations I saw are really nice and I expect a totally fresh look when I return, and I intend to return. Thanks!

The rooms are nice, the hotel is clean and the beds are comfy. I accidentally left a couple things in the room, and the hotel staff did their best to get them back to me. Both Kathy and Angie were very helpful. They treat my group of people very well

Update** 2023, going to another event at Eisenhower, the staff are so friendly, Kathy is Fantastic!! Always takes care of us!!
We have been there in April and September of 2022 for a Takeover Event and the Hotel and Staff were super accommodating. The pool was super clean and the hotel went above and beyond to eliminate their renovation impact on our stay.

Updated hotel….this is not the one for you…but if your looking for clean rooms an overall great experience with laid back rules this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. Rooms were clean and comfy breakfast was over average although little to choose from what was there was awesome. The bar and little restaurant are only open Friday-Sunday so don’t look forward to that during the week. There is hardly anyone ever at the front desk so you have to go to the connected hotel next door for service. Also many of the rooms don’t have HDMI TVs. When pulling up it looks run down and the pool room is a little rundown but looks as if they are renovating. We came from Michigan and I would come back here again and again.

The hotel is very nice, they have been constantly updating the facilities and remodeling. Was here for a private event and the staff was fantastic. Everyone is friendly and ready to help. The hot breakfast was good.

Don't let the bad reviews turn you away, we had a great stay! Our room was clean, everything worked inside and the bed was comfortable. direct access to the pool area from the room was convenient. The bar had a decent selection as well as food to go with it. All the staff were informative and polite. You can tell they are in the process of remodeling but it's definitely an improvement. I would stay here again without a doubt

Excellent event hosted recently at this hotel. The staff were very receptive and welcoming and quick to respond to the needs of the guests. Only "complaint" was the water temp in the pool on Thurs and Fri was a bit much then Sat was too chilly to stay in BUT not big enough of a deal to knock to review.

Also their GM? Mylinda is an absolute gem. I have had a number of encounters with her over the past few years/events and she is always super responsive, super pleasant, and ALWAYS looking out for the guests.

Staff was what made my stay at this hotel. Everyone was nice and very friendly. Once i made my way to my room, i was impressed with the size of my room! Not only that it smelled great. No musty smoke smell that i read about in the reviews. My sheets were neat and no stains. The pool was warm and the pool area was heated and pool towels were also provided. Breakfast the following morning was actually eggs sausage and potatoes. I WILL be booking here again.

The staff is always super friendly at this hotel. I come up several times a year for conferences and they always go out of their way to make the guests feel welcomed. If you're looking for a place to host your next conference look no further. If you're just looking for a quiet weekend getaway with a hotel that has an atrium pool this is also the spot. I'll always keep coming back and the renovations are great!

It was awesome! My kids and us loved everything . The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and had new flooring and fixtures. Beds were nice and comfy. The pool was wonderful, especially at night. We also enjoyed playing games in the arcade. We got a great bagged continental breakfast as well. I am definitely coming here again! Great memories!

We have stayed many many times at this hotel and are always. Leslie the at the front desk is awesome and very helpful.
And goes out of her way to help u.
Jessica is so very helpful. Our light went out in our room and she tried and tried to get them by herself but finally had to call maintenance in. Charlene came to see if we needed anything almost everyday. We stayed for 2 weeks and had an awesome. The room was cleaned and the beds are so comfy.
The pool was great just wish they had a handicapped way so I could have on in. But my grandson swam every day.
