Always professional and honest I miss Bank Mutual but they got bought by Associated Bank . Online banking app. Is very user friendly. Deposit checks with a picture. Transfer money instantly no cost to you.In person employees always ask for ID . HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BANK

I was looking for competitive interest rates for refinancing our home. Cheryl Rocole was very helpful with complete explanations. She worked with us to get great rates. The location is convenient and the whole process was easy and stress free.

Difficult online service. I have had this account open at Associated bank since the beginning of the year. The bank in Minneapolis told me I could transfer money online to my Minneapolis bank of 41 years. I set up everything for external Xfers, did the verifications, received a confirmation that all was complete. But they then said online that I need to go through ANOTHER verification (that could take 3 days)!

1. Stop gauging in every way ..i.e. non active accounts(people have mitigating circumstances not always in their control...everyone has dealt with this at some point in their life.

2. Stop charging for paper copies of statements and other paper forms. Not everybody has reliable 24/7internet. This applies to school families and those in further out smaller towns! Let's get real people!

3. When problems arise..Associated bank has bad Human Relations with getting issues fixed only to have them happen again later down road.

4. When trying to call Associated bank whether calling main branch,local branch or Customer care(supposed to be nearly 24/7(minus holidays);you can't always get people to answer phones..sometimes will ring many times or when calling customer care services...you get placed on music hold for semi long periods..varying amount of time.

5. As of today..Saturday October 15th 2022 11:35am called our local branch. Had been having trouble depositing state check. Did all usual modes of things...WI-FI.Turned off; Wi-fi,turned back on; nothing. Turned wi -fi off. Turned mobil On..than turned off mobile...turned back on...again no change to bank online system.. turned off phone,to rebooting internet boxes. Still nothing. Been trying to deposit for last day and a half......find out during call to local branch that it was In-fact Associated Banks fault as they did not call,text,Or email ANY of their customers that it was their new online digital system that has glitches in system! Failure of Human Relations of Associated bank. After call to local branch and having signed state check( thinking it could be deposited online..ha)...you are only allowed to take that already signed check to that direct branch you contacted..grrr!!

6. When opening accounts with Associated banks...look out...they make you keep certain amounts in certain type of accounts to keep them open...otherwise they charge you for Not having sufficient amount!

**Several other banks we contacted DO NOT DO THIS NOR EXPECT THIS OF CUSTOMERS
...HMMM. THOUGHTS PEOPLE.**

6. When depositing checks with Associated bank....you have to wait until next day for checks to clear before being able to withdraw..even than only small portion is available to you at that point.

7.**If you deposit checks over weekend(read fine lines)....the full balance will not be available for withdrawal until that next Tuesday as Monday is considered their catch up day**Your new full balance will not be posted in full until Tuesday.**

I have not found this ANYWHERE ELSE with other local banks around area.

1 reason we went with Associated Bank(before all these changes)is they are open in person on Saturdays until 12 noon. SEVERAL other local banks do not have these hours.

**NOW ASSOCIATED BANKS** ARE condensing down permanently closing some local neighborhood branches that were convenient to some of population. People will now need to go further away from home to access a local branch. (Starting Nov 2022). This is our experience and currently looking for new bank system! WE have been with Associated bank BEFORE When it was called First Federal Bank(much better system prior. Hope this helps some people.

I went to this branch to get help with resetting my password. I had been trying all day and the 1-800 customer Service Reps couldn't figure out the issue either. They suggested I go to a branch for help. I got to this branch and told the attendant that I needed help with resetting my password. She said, " You couldn't figure out how to do that by yourself?!" I couldn't believe someone I was hoping would help me started off the conversation with such a rude comment. I told her I, in fact, do know how to reset a password but it wasn't working and that the customer service rep told me to find a branch. They didn't have anyone available to help, so definitely a waste of a trip.

Worst customer service it takes 2 hours on hold to get to talk to someone. And when they finally answer they're not helpful. The fees here here re insane. I called several times because I wanted the overdraft protection on my account, but I never seemed to have it. Another thing is when I once withdrawed $600 from an atm and it charged me a withdraw limit fee. Worst of all their app is trash. I closed my account because of this. Two months later I get a letter in the mail explaning that I now gotta pay service fee for having the saving account open. I very clearly told the lady in the bank I wanted both accounts closed. Like come on!!!

Since covid this associated Bank has really gone downhill. It is Friday at 1:00 and they only have two lanes open?! The lines are so backed up I am almost to the road, there are six cars in front of me! Why doesn't this place ever open up the other lanes? This bank has five Lanes but only two are open on a Friday afternoon?? And this happens every time I'm here not just today. I only come to this bank because I have to deposit money into my boyfriend's account but I think through community first and they always have four lanes open and I'm always in and out.

Not even worth one star. They shut down the whole mobile app and online banking for the whole weekend. So. No one can actually see what is in their account for 3 days. What a joke.
