The atmosphere was the best that I have experienced in a long time. The Christmas music added to the ambience. Impeccable service, and the food was absolutely the best meal we’ve had since moving to PA.
Our food was plated nicely and appealing, screaming with flavor. We relished every bite.
Hats off to the Chef. Oh and loved the bread too.

A hidden gem. The food and the service are both outstanding. The pictures are my dinner this evening. One warning: THE SERVINGS ARE LARGE. Ample parking. The dessert case by the front door is beautiful. The desserts are made in house. The French Onion Soup is thick with ample melted cheese. The stuffed peppers were outstanding and very filling. The Pumpkin Cheese Cake was "to go". Olivia's is most highly recommended.

This was our first time here and I have to say what an amazing experience! It was for my husbands birthday! Absolutely loved everyone and everything! Chef Yani is the best! The presentation was brilliantly beautiful and the food was so delicious and on par with our cruise food (and if you’ve been on a cruise you know that food is amazing)! I’m talking about the food from the specialty restaurants and special dinners. The owner even came out to talk with us, so we could let him know. The girls even came out to sing Happy Birthday to him and brought him a piece of cheesecake (on their own gesture)! How sweet! We’ll definitely be coming back here very soon!!! Love it and if you haven’t been you need to go! I give them 10+ out of 10 in my book!

First time coming to Olivia's by a suggestion from a friend and will be bringing many people back here.
Chef Yani was fantastic and every meal was incredible!
Quality food cooked with love and heart. You can tell from the passion of the owner and his family they take pride in what they do and it comes across in the service and attention to detail.
Ps. Do yourself a favor and try one of the desserts. The Turtle Cheesecake was the best cheesecake I've ever had!

You worth every star! Friendly atmosphere and staff. Scratch food from the kitchen. Beer to cocktail selection was everything you want. Worth your time.

This place is worth the drive. The service was top notch for our party of ten. The food was delicious! I had shrimp scampi and loved it. I'm not sure what everyone else had because our group was so large We had multiple appetizers. The humus was excellent. The chicken caprese was awesome. I think we had stuffed mushrooms too? (it was a month ago and there might have been wine involved). I just know everyone seemed to enjoy all the food, the service and just being there. I want my brother to take me there the next time I come to town for sure.

After seeing Olivia's on Fox 43 news we finally decided to try it out. We certainly were not disappointed. The food was delicious. They give you tons of it. The service was impeccable, professional and very attentive. It was four of us and we left there with two full doggie bags of food we couldn't finish. For my husband and I our bill was $107 but that was an appetizer, the steak special, another steak order, two mixed drinks and an iced tea. I thought the price was very reasonable. I don't mind paying a little bit more money for good tasting food that is seasoned properly and I don't have to chew through Gristle. We definitely will return!

I treat myself to the prime rib on Friday evenings, and enjoy seeing my favorite waitress. The salads are remarkable with many different kinds of lettuce. Great desserts too!

Every time I’m in the area I eat at Olivia’s. The food is amazing, atmosphere is relaxed and the service is great. The grilled calamari appetizer is the best I’ve ever had, and it’s consistently perfect. This time I had the sovlaki and my friend had the Thai crab cakes for the main course.

Excellent food the whole way around. I had the fried oyster and green tomato plate that comes with a little salad. My friend ordered a type of a gyro. She said it was delicious. We started with the crab Nachos. OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The hummus plate to start was phenomenal. Our waitress was attentive and we sat outside on a nice fall day.

Girls night out was fun thanks to our amazing server! He was very informative and knowledgeable explaining the menu to us. The drinks were my favorite part of the dinner! I love that they use deep eddys for their cocktails since that is kinda hard to find in this area. I probably would skip the meal if we return and come for just drinks…I expected the greek salad to be served with greek dressing but it was served with a balsamic vinaigrette. The main course was so so. The baklava was very different from any I have ever gotten and I wouldn’t recommend ordering that here either. Pretty restaurant inside!

So good!!! 10 stars!! I’ve been here more than once. Every time our servers were awesome, knowledgeable, and all around friendly. Great food. We had the rib-eye, stuffed peppers, mousaka, salad, soups and more. Every time I was here I was happy with everything and that’s rare. I’m that person that has an issue with something. Lol. Their back deck area is very cool in the warmer months.

Amazing Greek food! The steaks are out of this world, especially the Chesapeake with crab meat! The stuffed grape leaf appetizer is delicious and the shark dish was the surprise winner of the night! Great family restaurant with options for everyone, even pasta with a giant meatball for the kids.

Portions are HUGE and delicious!
Do not be afraid to try something new for yourself because so far, everything is GREAT. I do not normally order pork chops because I just don't think pork chops are that good, but since I am comfortable trying new things at this place, I gave the Dragon-fruit pork chop special a shot (see pic). Was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned beneath the subtly sweet Dragon-fruit sauce.
My friend had the fish-fry-- was a mountain of fried fish atop a mountain of fried zucchini, and she said it reminded her of spending time in Greece as a child.
The staff is friendly and careful. They do not let any time lapse between drink refills and various dining-out transitions, such as between being seated and given water, etc.

Really excellent food and service. Authentic Mediterranean dishes, and incredible bread to start the meal.

The food and service were so good on my first visit that I returned the next night. Sirloin tips arrived medium rare as I ordered, a rarely anywhere else. My server (working his way through law school) was attentive and professional. The sirloin tips were large, plentiful, tender, and delicious; I took half home.

The mulligatawny soup was perfect on a cold and rainy night—a big bowl packed with goodness and comfort. That and Olivia’s fresh bread and butter were all I needed for a deeply satisfying supper.

The menu is varied and interesting. I look forward to trying some of the less common entrees, such as octupus. I was put off at first by the color and lumpy, shiny appearance of the hummus, which has some whole and chopped garbanzos in the purée, but it was delicious.

Olivia's of Gettysburg!!
Want to have your taste buds popping with delicious foods that are absolutely perfect? Well then you need to try Olivia's!!
We had an absolutely Phenomenal Meal at Olivia's of Gettysburg. I have no idea that Heaven on Earth existed right here in Historical Gettysburg and didn't even know it for the past 20+ years that I have been here! Now I have to make up for it!
It is possibly the best Food I have ever eaten in my life! Greek, Italian Authentic Mediterranean food is the foundation but there is Soooo much more!!
We started off with Homemade delicious bread and an Amazingly mouth watering Hummus and
Dolmades:
tender grape leaves stuffed with steamed rice, black angus ground beef and a blend of spices, drenched in a creamy lemon and Dill sauce.
Then for the main course John got
Thai Style Lamb Kebobs which are Prime Cut Australian Lamb fire grilled with House made Thai ginger sauce and served over fresh Spinach, Asparagus and peppers over rice noodles!
Then I had Lasagna served with amazing garlic toast and a side spicy Italian sausage that was the BEST I have ever tasted!
The price is a little more than we usually spend but absolutely worth it! We came home with several days worth of leftovers and 2 pieces of Baklava AND 2 pieces of strawberry cheesecake that is calling my name as I type this.
Can't wait to go back because I could eat there every day for the rest of my life!!
My list of more things I can't wait to try are Yia-Yia's meatballs, Garlic and Herb pork chops, Greek Lamb Kabobs,
German mushroom and dill gravy over Fettuccine with Yia-Yia's secret recipe
Meatballs. They have choices as to which kind of meatballs you may like.
Keftedes Sto Forno, Charred Lamb meatballs with sauce and Feta,
Bruschetta Kalamata, garlic toast topped with fresh Roma tomatoes, Feta, Kalamata Olives, EVOO and Basil
Lasagna Fritte, Al'Dente lasagna noodles stuffed with NY style Ricatta and Ramano cheeses, and fresh Basil..
Lukaniko Reganato, Greek Sausage topped with sizzling onions, peppers, fresh Roma tomatoes, Feta and Oregano, sauces for dipping pita bread in, Vegetarian and I believe I saw a few vegan dishes also.
And that's barely 1/4 of the menu!
Seafoods, Steaks of all kinds, pitas, Pastad, Paninis, Kebobs, sandwiches, massive salads, sides, more appetizers, deserts, kids menu and more!! Drinks on draft, bottled, wines and Teas.
I don't think that I have ever had such perfectly, authentic food with the spices
So fresh and married together that no matter what you get it will be better than you could ever imagined. And the portions are Huge!
No wonder people in the Mediterranean people live so long because you need a life time to just eat all of the Amazing foods!!
I want a job as a food taster and Blogger! I want to live forever just to try all of the wonderful foods! I am officially a Foodie now!

Great food! If you're visiting Gettysburg and don't want to wait an hour to eat. Drive a few minutes away to Olivia's and skip the wait! The food was excellent.
Below is a photo of the stuffed pork chop and pumpkin chicken dish.

Olivia's is a great place.
Easy to find, plenty of parking and excellent food.
The portions are generous so do not overdo individual appetizers!
All meals start with bread and hummus.
I had the thick pork chops (two) which were very lightly breaded and generously doused in garlic butter. They were tender and accompanied by mashed potatoes and broccoli.
Chicken caprese was equally delicious and was preceeded by a Greek salad with feta cheese and grape leaves!
While desserts looked great, unfortunately we were already full!

Wow ... This was my first visit to this family owned establishment! What can I say, everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. Some of the best food I have eaten in my life! Will always return when we are in Gettysburg!
