Chris and his assistant did an amazing job in our home. They were extremely efficient and hardworking. They transformed our dated red oak floors into beautiful, rich colored hardwoods. From my first contact, to setting up an appointment to give me an estimate, to actually doing the work, and the follow up was timely, professional, and yielded superb results. The floors in our cottage had been damaged due to a water leak in the kitchen. After they were totally dried out, Chris and his team sanded and refinished them to match flooring in an adjacent room. When Chris told me, the sanding would indeed be dustless, He was totally correct. It is with pleasure that I recommend this amazing company. Call them. You will not be disappointed.!

Our home is 36 years old & the whitewashed finish on the oak floors never looked real. The oil base finish was tacky & did nothing to bring out the true beauty of what real oak should look like. After getting a price from my contractor, I decided to get another quote. The realization came when I learned from Chris Brooks why his price was double the cost by using a water based finish over an oil based one. He was right about the little dust & barely an odor. Chris is a man of his word. He always called to let me know if he would be late, he provided professional service & he even squeezed me in to get the job done in a timely manner without cutting the quality he assured me of.Now I have beautiful floors & only wished they looked this nice 36 years ago! Don’t let anyone tell you to use oil based over water based not for just the appearance but the durability of the wood!The first photo is a before.

I highly recommend Brooks Hardwood Floor Service! My floors were in horrible shape, worn out and splintering in many areas and just looked really bad. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations for the stain color and we went with a very light stain that really shows the character of the wood and the floors look amazing! The stain color even compliments my agreeable gray paint color perfectly. Everything was completed in a timely manner and we could not be more satisfied.

We had our flooring updated in our home and I couldn’t believe how quick, precise and how great the quality of work was. Chris was on time and kept us informed during the process.
