Great Commission Schools

We just wrapped up my oldest child's first year at Great Commission. As a parent of multiple young, impressionable children, I am THRILLED to have the option to send them to a Christian school. I was pleased with the academic curriculum and felt it was both reasonably challenging and relevant. I was also impressed by the constant effort to include parents and families in school activities - from "grandparents day" programs to an adorable "muffins with moms" event. The most precious gift, though, was that I felt like each of the GCS staff were truly JOINING my husband and I in our efforts to raise our children to know the love Jesus has for each of them and how that impacts the way they care for others around them - within our family, within our community, and throughout the world.

I really do look forward to the coming school year with so much joy, as I know I will continue to be impressed again and again by the high quality of education my children will receive.

This school has established the foundation of my faith that I carry with me today. I attended Great Commission Schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. The teachers really get to know you, and they really show that they care not only about your academics, but your character and your Christian walk. The friends I made here have lasted until this very day, and I hope that one day my children will have the privilege to attend and grow in their faith just like I did.

I attended and graduated from GCS. I really enjoyed the environment and everyone was super accepting. The smaller classes allowed me to get to know my classmates and teachers on a more familial level. I made friendships with people that I kept to this day. I also loved how dedicated the school was to providing a strong Christian-based education. My favorite extracurricular activity was fine arts and participating in the annual musicals. Would highly recommend.

All 3 of our kids attended GCS from K-12 and received a quality, Christ centered and Biblically based education in a wonderful, close knit family atmosphere. Two of them went on to successfully complete further formal education - one at the Air Force Academy and the other to Messiah University (BS degree) and then to Thomas Jefferson University (MS degree), and our youngest has successfully entered the work force learning by working in a specialty trade vocation.

I attended/graduated from GCS. Loved the school and the atmosphere it provided. With the smaller class sizes, you really get to know the teachers and classmates on a deeper level almost like a family. The school offers a number of different athletic teams to participate on including soccer, basketball, track and field, and beyond. I will continue to recommend GCS to others looking for a solid Christian education!

I attended GCS from K-12. The school does a great job of integrating biblical truths with academic subjects. Spiritually speaking, it impacted my faith in practical ways. Academically, it prepared me to succeed in undergraduate and graduate studies. Relationally, I made friendships that continue to this day, both at the student and teacher levels. Extracurricularly, I got to participate in athletics and fine arts that made me a healthier, well-rounded individual. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love Great Commission. It is such a warm environment, where the teachers take a personal interest in the kids. Our kids have learned so much about the world around them and have grown in their knowledge of who God is! We are so blessed to have Great Commission as our school. <3

I cannot say enough good about my time at GCS. The teachers and staff genuinely care for the students and want to see them grow both academically and spiritually. If you are looking for an academically challenging, biblically based, Christ-centered education for your child…look no further!

Our oldest daughter graduated from Great Commission in 2015. She was a student there for 10 year. She had an exceptional education experience and was also cared for greatly by her teachers. She was very shy and everyone made her feel welcome. Our youngest daughter still attends Great Commission and has been there for 11 years. She has developed lasting friendships and has also excelled in her classes. I am proud to include that I have been part of Great Commission for 11 years and would not want my children to attend anywhere else.

A great Christian school to enroll your students, of any age, in! The teachers and staff care about the students and are invested in their lives. Enjoyable sports and drama programs. A great family environment with small class sizes for focused teaching.

Great Commission Schools has been a wonderful environment for Christian education for over 20 years.

Great school. Teacher's share God's truth and love. Students are extra special. Love working in kitchen, got to know special student.

This school has changed our lives. I'm so happy to be part of a school that feels like a family. Their drama program is terrific, and kids have an opportunity to all play in sports activities.

I have gone to this school since 1st grade and it is great. The only reason people don't like it is because our leaders have made a poor decision recently.
