Frontier Tavern

We spent most of our evening at the lobby bar with Hope until it was time for her to close up then we ventured to the frontier tavern. Hope was so knowledgeable and you could tell she was an expert mixologist. She made us the most amazing drinks and they all tasted so good! Highly recommend stopping by for a cocktail!! The tavern was beautiful, dim lit and quiet; perfect for our couples escape for a night cap. The bartender made me a very tasty drink! Must stop by and experience the ambience!!

Such an Incredible experience awaits You through and through Here from the moment you approach the entrance with the most amazing hostesses, and management, they’ve been absolutely fabulous both nights, In fact it was so good the first evening we had to come back for a second, the pub chips and the Roasted olives are a can’t miss experience, the cream of mushroom soup was very nice, The Green Goddess salad is also a nice vision in Healthy, Mindful eating which was nice to see, Because you don’t see a whole lot of originality when it comes to Salads, This was A pleasant surprise for someone who eats a steady diet of them, the Cobb salad I had last night was Perfection through and through, and I didn’t have to pick out one Brown Leaf of lettuce which was nice to see Greens that were Clean and In Good Condition when offered, I don’t eat too many sandwiches, but all the sandwiches I saw being walked around were huge, and Above all else, the service was SPECTACULAR! You could not find a better service team than this, Much less Livia, Wow, What a star, I’ve owned a Bed and Breakfast, and Restaurants, And Can tell You Livia is Server Trainer, FOH Manager material Without a doubt, She definitely deserves a pat on the back from Her management team for a commitment to quality customer service that’s second to none, It’s not often this day of age you find someone so well versed about what’s going on in the kitchen that she can enthusiastically Endorse and recommend items that she may not eat personally like the Roasted olives, Which I’ll order every time We Visit, And was so good I’ll be recreating those at Home, Job well done Chef, My husband comes in every year for the PANA Conference, I’m a chef, We Live in Lancaster, and Have had lots of very special memories in this establishment, some with friends who are no longer with us sadly, This restaurant consistently offers top quality through and through, it was so good last night we came back tonight and requested Livia’s section, In fact, if you’re considering this or any other restaurant, choose this every time and do yourself a favor and Request Livia for an extra special dining experience, She’s Fabulous and should be very, very proud of Herself, as proud as Her team around Her should be to have Her, in fact, when we asked for Her again the Hostess was glowing about Livia and said how amazing she is and that everyone there absolutely loves Her, and that’s the one sentiment I know she returns about Her work family because Last night when we were there She said that was the thing She loved most other than being with the customers was she said Her work family and the morale there is second to none and you can really tell because the customer can feel and see it throughout their entire experience, Livia was spectacular, and the food was top notch, Every time we’re in town We eat Here every night, because you really don’t need to go elsewhere with so many good offerings and All Star Customer Service!

All of the food we got was all super good and no complaints at all. The kids meals have good portion sizes as well.
The service was not too much, just the right amount.
And there are lots of pretty windows and has great views.

Great food. We had the mussels, chicken schnitzel and quesadilla. All dishes were very tasty and came out fairly quickly.
Service was great, everyone was very pleasant here.
Only complaint is that alcoholic beverages are overpriced - even for a hotel.

Enjoyed lunch here on the first day of our stay. The staff is very professional, friendly and accommodating. We shared the crab dip appetizer between two people. It would have been plenty for 4! We also enjoyed a burger and a pastrami sandwich. Both were very nice portions and delicious. Would absolutely eat here again.

Ate here on our last night in Bedford. I'd recommend going just for the atmosphere of the hotel. I got the pork quesadilla and would definitely order that again. The sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had!

My husband got a mimosa that was divine.

Arrived just for the restaurant. Had free valet service when we pulled in. Every staff member was very friendly and inviting.

Our waiter recommended the grilled cheese and it was the best grilled cheese that I've ever had. They added bacon and a tomato jam that made it stand out.

Next time I'm in the Bedford area, my family would definitely return.

Love the atmosphere here. We shared the crab dip as an appetizer and it was more than enough for two people. I had the Tavern Burger, it was perfectly cooked and juicy. I also loved the selection of local beers.

We love the colorful and delicious experiences both inside and outside the Tavern. Michael is an exeptional server with great menu & drink recommendations. Always uplifting and relaxing.

Amazing place and experience! My girl and I both got the crabcake sandwich. It wasn't a crabcake at all. It was simply all blue crab meat with no artificial binders. All 🦀. Absolutely mind blowing.

We had a great dinner at the Frontier Tavern while staying at Bedford Springs for the night. The entire staff was friendly and upbeat. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. We both had the Steak Frites and both medium well and medium rare was prepared perfectly. For breakfast we had the Breakfast Bowl and the Breakfast Sandwich. We will definitely be back.

Delicious food, top rate service and a beautiful, historic resort, restored to its original splendor. It can't be beat!

We were there celebrating a wedding/bridal shower. The menu had a nice variety of traditional dishes, dishes with a twist & others you don't see often. The atmosphere is beautiful & from Colonial Era with just enough updates for comfort. Our waiter Jacob was wonderful & attentive (my apologies if I've gotten the name not correct because he deserves the recognition & has worked there a couple of years...this was 4.2.23). Jacob handled 7 excited & talkative post spa women brilliantly. Helped make our spa & lunch day at Bedford Springs even more perfect!

They have a very limited menu. This is a small restaurant in the Bedford springs hotel. There is valet parking which is free. The food was very good and the atmosphere is great. The service was also very enthusiastic and attentive.

Staying at the Bedford Springs Resort which is truly a "GEM" in the area and dined at the Frontier Tavern. What a wonderful opportunity for food. The Pub Fries were simply amazing. A must try when you stop in. I tried the smash burger, and it was outstanding. One of the best I have ever had, and I have been around the world and tried many hamburgers in my 60+ years. What to say about the service; simply over the top amazing. Everyone was friendly and made sure you were taken care of perfectly. Frontier Tavern in the Bedford Springs Resort has set the standard to beat in food service. I loved it and will be back. If you are in the Bedford. PA area the Frontier Tavern is a MUST stop for food and service.
