They have the best spaghetti dinner around! If you haven't tried this place yet, it is a must try! 🍝

Always excellent food! Great service and cozy atmosphere. My favorite Italian restaurant anywhere. My last visit i had the Maryland blue crab ravioli which was fantastic! The Eggplant Parmesan is heaven. Enough for two people, the portions are huge!! The little parmesan garlic rolls they bring out everything is outstanding. Highly recommend a trip here, return trip or whatever!

We found this place from a Google search of restaurants near me. It's unassuming outside but, cozy and classic inside. The food is amazing. I had the spinach gnocchi with vodka sauce. That sauce was to die for. Of course I had to try the meatballs. They did not disappoint..they melt in your mouth. The veal parmesan with shrimp was so tender and delicious. The portions are huge. Unless you haven't eaten in days, you will be taking some home. I can't forget to mention the beautiful little salad and the generous serving of garlic bread(with enough garlic to make any Italian happy). I can't wait to return and try another pasta...there are so many it may take all year. They don't just have pasta, there is an extensive meat, chicken, & seafood menu also.
If you're in Altoona skip the Olive Garden and go authentic Italian, you won't be disappointed.

The place looks really unassuming from the outside, but inside is beautiful. It's homey and inviting, all the staff helped us and made us smile and laugh throughout the experience. It seems they prefer you have a reservation but don't get upset if you don't as long as it's not busy. The food comes in large portions and is hot and fresh, very flavorful. Some things were slightly crispy and over cooked in the littlest bit, but nothing that would draw me from devouring it. Prices are moderate to expensive depending on much you can eat, but if you are coming here for a date, I would recommend you share an appetizer etc. I came with my girlfriend on Valentines day and we ate until we almost exploded.

All in all, the interior is much more than you'd expect from the exterior, don't judge a book by its cover. It's warmly lit with western European/Italian decoration and well cleaned and maintained. Staff is amazing and friendly (thank you Missy, who served us), and the food was all warm, fresh, and delicious!

The food is absolutely delicious. Staff are friendly and quick. Dining room feels close but not small. Skip the appetizers and save room for dessert.

This was my first visit but definitely not my last! Had an amazing waitress named Missy, who was actually excited that it was my first visit. She didn't rush me during my review of the menu & visited the table enough to be sure we didn't need anything but not too much to be an annoyance. The food was amazing - and huge portions! If you wish to enjoy a drink with your meal, be advised they are a BYOB establishment.

I think the food is very good, and I love the cozy atmosphere. The staff is wonderful. You also always have enough to take home and enjoy again! The bruschetta appetizer is DIVINE.

This place is adorable. The food is delicious, and the service is great. We stopped on the way home from a road trip, my mom wanted soup. We got the homemade wedding soup and I got the spinach gnocchi with vodka sauce. Everything was amazing, especially the garlic bread. We saved room for dessert by taking home most of our meals, and the limoncello mascarpone cake was a perfect ending, light and flavorful. If you have the chance to stop, don't miss this one. It's worth going out of your way for.

Hubby got the shrimp fettuccine alfredo and I got the 3 cheese tortellini with vodka sauce. The portions justified the prices and we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The server was very kind and attentive. It was really nice that we were able to bring our own wine in. We had a wonderfully romantic Valentine's dinner and we'll be sure to come back again.

It was am amazing experience. I would gladly come back. We only water 10mins for are food to come out. And we only waited 5 mins for a seat. They bring out a lot of food, witch I loved. I would 10/10 recommend.

We made a reservation for 6:15 and were promptly seated. The service was great; our waitress actually had to take care of a 16 person table, but you would never tell from her attitude. Very friendly and attentive.

The food was very good and was served quickly. They also served complimentary bread that was very good as well. A+ all around.

First time visiting this place and we weren't sure if there was a dress code as we did this on a whim. We were greeted graciously and seated. Food was delicious, atmosphere was romantic as though you were in Italy. Waitress was very attentive but not hovering. Food was extremely Hot. Rolls were fresh and hot.

You want to know what Italian food is in Italy? This is the place. It's like your great grandmother and grandfather were cooking for you. Just amazing food and huge dishes of food. 5 star, A+...

My wife and I were passing through the Altoona area and googled nearby restaurants. Villa Capri came up with 4.6 stars and since we are always interested in trying local establishments instead of chains, we decided to give it a go. However when we came to the door, it was noted reservations only this evening. We went inside anyway to see if there were possibly any cancellations. The woman that greeted us was very nice when we explained we were only passing through and this would be our first visit. They were expecting a full house that evening due to it being Mothers Day Weekend but were able to squeeze us in. Needless to say, we were very grateful. Our waitress was kind and didn't make us feel rushed. We ordered and were very pleased when our salads came out with homemade dressing and fresh garlic rolls. Delicious! Our platters of chicken parmesan arrived shortly after and the servings were huge. The chicken was extremely tender and homemade with lots of cheese and sauce and served over spaghetti. We were in love. Unfortunately we live an hour and a half away, but from now on anytime we are traveling near there we will definitely stop again; not only for the excellent food but for the great service and accommodating, friendly staff.
