Gateway Travel Plaza

We have stayed here many times! Love each and every time! Plenty of parking, nice employees, clean, and the food isn’t bad either. There are many things to see and places to eat within walking distance. The gift shop is really neat. The fuel island has just about everything you need for your truck. The showers were clean! The washing machines were clean! There is a tv room with comfy chairs. Two arcades, gaming machines and massage chairs. The service dept was fast, fixed our tire really quick! A must stop!

This is one of the best travel plazas I’ve ever been to and I’ve made several cross country road trips. Tons of food options, large and very clean restrooms, amazing store full of every snack and drink you can think of. And tons of parking. It was a huge positive to come upon this during a very long road trip to DC over the holidays.

Our school's MUN trip stopped here on our way to WAMUNC. There is a Subway, Orange Julius, and Papi's. Plus a big convenience store with a wide range of products and a video game arcade on the 2nd floor. At the time half of the place was undergoing renovation, but their construction didn't affect the quality of my spicy sandwich. But on top of all of that they had a really NEAT co-op space invaders arcade shooter with a huge screen!

Bonus: My friend thought the location was "cool".

Half of the parking is paid parking, definite downside. However, the lot is fully paved and I didn't see any potholes so that's a major plus in my opinion, the shower was very clean with decent water pressure, lots of arcade games, 2 pool tables, laundry machines, and different food options. Most of the staff were nice even though some of them didn't seem to know English very well. I will come back in the future for sure.

Tracey (cashier) in the general store & gift shop is simply amazing and deserves to know it! She went above and beyond for my family. She saw we were traveling with small children and she was so generous and offered us 3 small zip lock bags to feed them dry cereal. We couldn’t have been more appreciative! Know you have an amazing women on your staff and keep her around. Good ones are hard to find anymore! Thank you Tracey!!!

Wonderful new renovations. Gaming room for the kids, Baskin Robbins, Dunkin Donuts and of course the long standing store. All amazing!

The young lady Olivia was doing like 3 tasks at 1 time all while assisting her fellow employees. She kept the line flowing. I was craving some ice cream on the way back from our trip. She’s an asset to the brand.

Definitely the best truck stop ever, has the cleanest restaurants and plenty of restaurants to choose from with plenty of parking.

Gateway Travel Plaza at 16567 Lincoln Hwy, Breezewood, off Exit 161 of PA Turnpike and Interstate 70 is an impressively fronted one stop service station for fuel, amenities, beer and wine, and convenience food. The location has served travelers since about 1941 in one guise or another. At time of writing Gateway featured restaurants including but not necessarily limited to Arby's, Dunkin' Donuts, Homestyle Express, and Dairy Queen. In addition to 24/7 convenience shopping the Gateway has a beer and wine store. I get the impression that services may change from time to time but Gateway is here to stay and is not short of choice for those wanting to take a break from driving.

Fully complete stopover, showers, food , lodging, they have everything.

I honestly love coming here. I've had nothing but perfect moments here. The food is always made fresh, and the staff is just amazing. Always very clean, I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling that needs a quick bathroom break, needs a snack, or wants to play at the two arcades located one on each floor, visit the general store for extras. The staff works quick with food prep so you shouldn't wait too long.

Best place family place to stop for gas, food and trinkets! Staff is friendly, prices reasonable and bathrooms always clean. Been stopping here twice a month for the last 5 years during work travel and its my 9yr old twins favorite part of our long 12 hour journey!

Newly remodeled! Best stop in the whole town.

The store staff and restaurant staff was professional and courteous. Plenty of parking and clean showers. They have a full size gym or fitness room for those who love to exercise and stay in shape. Definitely coming back to this location.

Young woman at convenient store was polite and very hard working. Refilled coffee promptly and with a smile. Definitely nice to experience kindness when on a long drive

Something to think about... this place isn't a new building, but looks awesome. The parking lot isn't absolutely demolished but is in great shape. Inside it's got the feel of a new, modern place with lots of options for eating. Total opposite of that place across the road!
