Giant Eagle Supermarket

Love the prices and different selections than other grocery establishments.

Has all the things you would need from a grocery store. Staff is super friendly & they are always happily greeting customers on the way in & out. Deli/ hot foods department is great. They have awesome fried chicken. Prices are similar to other stores such as Martins and Weis.

Wonderful greater at the entrance who also sanitized the carts as people were bringing them back. Always have sale items in stock, unlike other stores in our area.

Always clean and the staff isn't always the most chipper but they get their job done n are helpful

This was the first time I ever shopped in this store. It is a nice store but being the first time in it too shop took a little while to find everything I was looking for. It's a wonderful store well light and clean and well stocked. After I shop it a few times I will update my report.

Good friendly service and selection of products and their brand is just as good as the name brands if not better. Their rewards program is excellent, I've been on it for 2 years and it has saved me $ 2500. In the last year.

Absolutely love this grocery store has a wide selection of everything you could want.very organized check out lines. Excellent customer service. Best grocery carts in town with all the shelves built in drink n purse holder.Has a really great rewards program that either gives you money off your grocery bill or let you save significantly on gas from Get Go which is their sister gas station. For example I spend about $350 a week for a family of 6 ... that usually gets me .80 cents off per gallon. If I save for two weeks I save about 1.50 per gallon. It's well worth it!

Pharmacists are knowledgable and go above and beyond to help.

First time in a Giant Eagle. I received the most awesome welcome from Sheldon ever!!! I had to go to track down the manager and tell him, tell the cashier, tell the service rep at the front desk, fill out a survey and had approval to leave a tip. Kindness and good customer service goes along way even when we don’t hear about it

I think this location is one of the better chain grocers in the Altoona area. Selection is good, prices are reasonable, generally has things in stock, and staff is generally personable. Cheaper than Martins, especially with the rewards program.

Giant Eagle has items you can’t find at Giant or Martins or Weiss so travel to Altoona for them. Prices very comparable to other grocery stores . Deli open earlier as well . Busy today but conscientious employee SherriLynn opened a register to help out. Extra effort is always welcoming. Thank you.

Good stuff at Giant Eagle today. Store was clean with Great selection. Even in soda, gatorade, powerade, fruits, otherwise. Store was well stocked and we found unsweetened tea selection here, nice! The lady at the checkout Brittany was nice.

Friendly staff and wide selection of groceries for whatever or whoever you are, and what you like to eat, drink, or do whatever. Their pharmacy is great too, they'll always refill your medicine on time

My very first job was in a Giant Eagle and 30 years later I still enjoy my visits here. I mean seriously, what's not to like about a cavernous edifice dedicated to my favorite activity. My worshipping of food aside, this is the perfect place to plan and acquire everything you need for a truly first rate weekend of gluttony. Or any day really, why delay the feast unnecessarily.

The store is always clean and the staff are ready to help. Last I was there, one of these amazing staff knew where I could find Tahini paste. Thanks again Trinity. On a side note my brother hated the dip I made with said paste so it was truly a win.

The seafood is fresh and the aisles seem well thought out and organized thanks in large part to the manager, I think he's the manager anyway. By the way Giant Eagle, he's absolutely, shockingly, and unbelievably good for your brand and he needs a raise and a couple paid days off. His wife misses him. I promise he'll come back after a short vacation.

Okay, moving on. I love this store and everything and everyone in it. Ignore the name, they have all the foods and none of the oversized raptors. Seriously. Go here. you won't be disappointed.
