The Athenian Cafe

Headed out to Lunch to try this Greek Restaurant that I have heard so much about. The atmosphere won't blow you away but the food will. A few tables and many diner style booths to sit in. The wait staff was very friendly and were on top of their game bringing us our orders and drinks. We will definitely be back to try more food from here.

Excellent food and prices. Visiting from out of town and looking for something different. Saw the google description that said it was a top ten local restaurant so we decided to stop in. Wait staff was nice and helpful as we were unfamiliar with Greek food. My husband and I enjoyed our food. Servings were large as some reviewers already mentioned. Only disappointment was they were out of baklava and falafel. Hope to visit again next time in town.

The food here is always delicious, this place is a hidden gem. Great burgers, falafel, pitas, you name it. Worth every penny, every time

The food and service are always amazing here! My favorites are the lemon chicken orzo soup, the cheeseburgers, the falafel, chicken pita, and their chicken salads. The staff is so friendly and welcoming!

This is my go to gyro spot. Even with the owner switch they kept the recipe the same! Ive never had a bad experience. Very clean!

I happened upon the Athenian by happy chance while stopping in town for lunch on my latest road trip. Excellent food with authentic flavor, and gracious service. Obviously a popular spot, as the place filled up quickly over lunchtime.

Really good gyros, I had the lamb. It came fully loaded with all the fixings. Great flavor on a warm soft gyro bread. From first to last bite you'll be pleased. Service was good a well even though it was the busy lunch hour. The decor is a little dated but clean non the less, doesn't affect the quality and flavor of the food. Must try if you're in town, and a good alternative to the 100's of pizza and sub shops that fills the town.

This place has excellent food and - fresh, home made and a nice assortment of Mediterranean options. I had the small gyro salad and it was HUGE and delicious. I am looking forward to trying other items. Service was prompt and friendly.

The Best The Best The Best I have lived in Atlanta, Austin and Columbus. By far, Teddy has the best Greek food. Everything is fresh and most made to order. Highly recommend.
New owner has taken over. She is working hard to improve quality of food. It is improving and we will continue to go there.

Super cute little cafe-style restaurant! The portions were big for the pricing. The food was excellent! New favorite for a busy Friday night, might just be a hidden gem. Don't know why it wasn't packed out!

First time eating Greek. Waitress was wonderful! Food delicious. Small dining area.

Food and portions were excellent. I have no idea how the hell to pronounce what I ate, let’s just say spinach pie, wife had Moussaka… (she spelled that for me). It was exceptionally good too. Split a lamb gyro and couldn’t finish that. Key lime pie and some bacavalla (Ok, I know I butchered the spec on that). Taking remaining chow home

I am not a fan of certain Greek food, I did try something new. It was very good. Enough for the next day.

This place has amazing food. We all had original gyros and side Greek salads. They were very filling and tasted amazing. We also opted to get stuffed grape leaves and fried zucchini for apps. Also very good. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for delicious fresh food. The waitresses we're very helpful and nice as well! We will be coming back soon!
