Love Rutter's... definitely won me over after being a Sheetz lover my entire adult life...

Currently here awaiting my stop to open in the morning. The lot is clean, store is clean and well kept and the bathrooms are amazingly clean! I haven't tried the food yet, because I cook mostly in my truck. But a really nice stop for sure. Well organized 🙂

There motto is why go anywhere else? I wouldn’t if I didn’t have to! First time here, I am an OTR driver. Truck parking was easy to get in to and plenty of spaces available. The pumps were clean and stocked. The bathrooms were sparkling clean and modern, fully stocked and even smelled nice! The food put me off a little at first as it is cafeteria style, you order at a kiosk, pay at the register. The dining area is Somme tables and chairs that are clean and stocked with napkins. The food was AMAZING! Not fancy but delicious and FRESH! A far cry from the slop most truck stops serve. Also very affordable for the price, and since since there is no wait staff, cheaper, and faster! I would give ten stars if I could! Just goes to show that it can be done right!

CAT scale, lots of food and drinks, clean bathroom, nice people working here. Room for around 25 trucks.

Clean restrooms, clean store.
Truck parking and a quiet neighborhood to walk the dog(s).
Open 24 hours and that includes the food counter.
AND it's right across the street from a delivery point! No need to start the ELD.

Kind of reminds me of Sheetz in a way. Great atmosphere, pleasant workers, offering excellent quality of service! Absolutely delicious hotdogs and fries!! Definitely a recommended stop while traveling!!

Hub & I shut down here last night. No showers but super clean restrooms (thank you!!) and a wide variety of grocery items. We didn't eat at the cafe, but were told it's open 24/7, which is nice. Very friendly service and overall a great place to stop. Pretty view of the mountains as well.

Great place to stop when out trucking. My girlfriend Erin is a super fan of this place. She's a super picky eater and usually turns her nose up at truck stop food but gave the subs two thumbs up and is a proud Rutter's card holder.

Love me some Rutters chicken & mozzarella sticks. Yum! Amazing drink selection as well

Great scenic place for drivers. Food is made to go and they sell the local newspaper daily. Clean bathrooms and quick checkout. Literally everything here is nice.

I went to rutters for the first time and Desire (not sure how to spell her name) was in the kitchen and when I asked for help on the menu she was more than happy to help me! She was great and explained how to do everything. She was very nice and kind. Awesome customer service from her! Then when our food was ready she went over it to make sure we had everything all while talking to my husband and I. Thank you so much Desire for taking the time to help me order food! Rutters is a good place to go. Thank you again!

In comparison to Sheetz:

The food is better, the gas is cheaper and it’s way easier to get in and out of than any sheetz I’ve ever been to.

Thanks for proving sheetz drove up local gas prices.

This place is great.

Night shift often means dealing with subpar service on the road, but that's not the case at this well maintained, friendly Rutters.

I ordered food while the staff was busy with a wave of customers and a small mistake occurred.

As soon as I noticed (after leaving the store and eating some of the meal in my truck) I returned inside and from the register, to the food prep area, and back out the door I was met with polite apologies and a prompt, accurate replacement item provided.

I am highly satisfied and will be stopping at this store any time I have a need in the area, traveling for business or pleasure.

Great place to shop. They have alcohol free gasoline at the pump and it is the only thing to use in snowblowers, tillers, weedeaters, etc., because it does not adsorb moisture into the carbs.

Newest local addition to the Rutter's convenience store chain in the Altoona area. Located between Altoona and Duncansville on 764. Nice new very large location. Plenty of auto and big truck parking. Lots of gas pumps too. Also a weigh station! Decent sized seating area inside, beer cave and large selection of beer sales as well as every soft drink, tea and beverage plus snacks and food. Very friend staff too.

Nice to see some local competition to the Sheetz monopoly of higher gas prices. Would recommend.

this is a great spot Drivers keep it clean please, they have great food selection about 20 to 30 truck parking spots no showers the store is clean bathrooms are very clean lot is clean not a very popular truck stop YET but I will definitely recommend it

Never a disappointment here. The staff is always polite and the food is great for a truck stop. They accidently messed up my food order once, they were pretty busy but the made up for it. I now go out of my way to goto Rutters.

Easy in. Easy out. Truck parking. Cat Scale. Good food. Nice people. Place like this sure make my life on the road easier.
