Applebee's Grill + Bar

Service was great. Waiter made reccimendations and never let our glasses go empty before bringing a refill.

Everything was delicious and overall a good experience. The only reason I gave 2 stars for service was because of the manager. He accommodated our larger group of 11 and was super professional and kind. The servers that brought our food out were great HOWEVER our main server was absolutely awful. He was rude, impatient, and scatterbrained. I know people have bad days but we started off very understanding and he only got worse. We all still tipped 15% out of common decency but he didn’t deserve it at all. Recommend the restaurant itself, though.

Update: Came here for dinner again many months later and the meal was delicious, our waitress was awesome so I have no complaints again. I also love the decor of Altoona's railroad history.

New location and the building has been beautifully remodeled! The service was great. The food was decent. The ribs were a bit dry but overall the experience was good!

The food was good. We didn't have to wait long for our meal. There were lots of friendly people therefore I enjoyed my time. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

All you can eat special is great! You can change your protein selection on your refill if you want to. Very good. Double battered shrimp was delicious!!

I love to eat here. Food always smells great and fills the mall making you hungry. Portions are generous. You typically have to wait to get in because it's so busy.
I always get their chicken alfredo and its legendary!!!

Also their alcohol drinks are fantastic

First time here since they moved from the Logan Valley Mall, slighty different experience on a positive note, less crowded and more spacious from what I found, waitress was very nice and accommodated my sister and Mom very well

We enjoy going after 9pm and getting the half priced apps. But they make great dinners too.

Had an excellent experience here. It was good food, great service. The drinks are excellent. And even though it was busy our server was very attentive. If I ever found myself in the area, I would definitely go again. It's clean and quick. Everybody was super friendly to my sister and I. They we're patient with us when we weren't sure what we were getting.

Very great meal with my family! Our waitress, Carrie ( I think that is how you spell it) ...she was great, didn't have to ask for a thing! She also was very friendly 😊 Food was delish 😋 I highly recommend the Fiesta lime chicken!

Been years since I ate at an Applebee's but I was truly delighted. Food was delicious, hot and wait staff was fast.

Tonight was my nephew’s birthday dinner my waiter was Travis when I tell you hands 🙌 down this young gentleman treated my nephew so special on his birthday 🥳 which made my nephew so happy 😁 as well as myself I will return because of his hospitality polite manners and his amazing personality and attitude and dedication toward his table service and mannerisms not once did I even have to look for him he kept checking on my table every chance he walked by thank you 😊 for making tonight a great memory for myself and my nephew Travis☝I will ask for him next return this is the new location of Applebees in Altoona pa

I almost always get the tortilla with cheese and some ground beef. I'm sorry but I can't remember what it's called but it's one of the appetizers.

One of our favorite restaurants. The new restaurant is spacious and the atmosphere is very nice. We always have great service! All the employees are very friendly. The food is always delicious and the variety of mixed drinks is on point!
