Greenbean Coffee House

Greenbean and 33 on Mac: two great places in one stop. The staff is great and friendly, without the forced smile of the giant Seattle-based chain. Everyone there was great, casual, and welcoming. The music is not obnoxiously loud as experienced in the other place (I used to work at the other place), and the vibe is just overall chill. They host events (yesterday was a tabletop gaming event to benefit clarity).

My daughter and I were in town visiting and we are both hooked. This is definitely my go-to stop every time I'm in town.

I went in for a hot chai tea, but noticed they had some Wonderful breakfast sandwiches on the menu. I had a steak breakfast sandwich and it was wonderful. My chai tea was perfect. The staff was really friendly and extremely organized. I also bought a cinnamon roll for someone and they raved about how good it was. Had a great experience inside the restaurant. Later I went through the drive through and it was super busy. They have a two lane drive through and thought I was going to wait, but the line went quickly and my drink was ready for me as I drove up. Thank you for Delicious drinks, great food, great service, and a wonderful experience!

The owners are so sweet! Went in for coffee grounds for my husband's garden an they were more then happy to give them to us! Owner even helped me carry them to my car! Hands down BEST service at a coffee shop in Altoona!! Thanks for all yall do!

Love this place! Super cute and staff if so friendly. Drive thru, dine-in, curbside, and take out are all available. Free wifi and outlets for those who need/want to stay to work and study. Parking is down the side street behind their building. I got an iced caramel maple latte and their Wakey Wakey breakfast sandwich on a flatbread. The food and drink were both delicious.

This has become my favorite place to spend my time and money. Their new building has so much space and as always, is still a safe space for all people. Their coffee is delicious, not the burnt stuff you get from that other big name place. They diligently have picked their coffee roasts and only serve the best quality products. Especially the baked goods! They support local small bakeries and sell their products like gobs, scones, cinnamon buns, and chocolate covered pretzels. The food has always been delicious and their new expanded menu has some yummy options I can’t wait to try! I also can’t wait to try their bagels shipped in fresh from NYC!!
This is a business I will 100% stand behind. Their mission to serve the community they are a part of is evident. Their work with local law enforcement, suicide awareness, and their suspended coffee program to provide a cup of coffee to anyone who needs it without question. This is more than just a business to the owners. It’s a way to impact the community in a positive manner. I’ll gladly pay $6 for my large delicious coffee knowing that it’s going to support our community as a whole and not a corporation.
One final note, my husband used to hate coffee. Green bean has opened his eyes to a whole new world of coffee. But even if you don’t like coffee, they have so many other caffeinated and non-caffeinated options like smoothies, teas, and lemonades. I’ve never been unhappy leaving Green bean. 😉

I'm visiting from Cleveland for the holidays and definitely 5 stars on service, food and great atmosphere. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable on their products. I would highly recommend over Starbucks.

The Greenbean Coffee House is must stop if you are in the Altoona area. The service is always fast and very friendly. I always drink black coffee/espresso, and they make the best Americanos!! The sandwiches are fresh and made to order. Plus, the outdoor patio and drive-thru are nice touches. I highly recommend the Greenbean Coffee House!

Best place in Altoona to get iced or frozen chai lattes or any other coffee drink hot or cold. They have very nice workers there. It's a great small hometown business with great owners. I am definitely not a coffee drinker. Only like chai or cappuccino but tried green beans mocha drink today and fell in love. Now I have another drink to add to my favorite drink list.

First time experience here was phenomenal. My sister encouraged me to check it out. My only regret is that I didn't make it here sooner. My boyfriend and I very much enjoyed the quality of the food and the quality of the coffee. RIP Starbucks!

Move aside Starbucks, there's a much better coffeehouse in town. Better product and amazing staff!! Every time I go I become more impressed!!! Great job 👏

When you walk inside, you are welcomed with the beautiful mural that has so much detail. The people inside were so nice and friendly. Went home to enjoy my breakfast and oh man.... the food is an 15/10! Still warm I the packaging. Don't even get me started on the coffee... way better than Starbucks!!

Great little coffee shop with loads of sugar free and nondairy options. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Parking lot is behind the building. Ppl are extremely friendly here. Great vibe. Coffee is also good. Wakey wakey is somewhat too salty.

Awesome place! I've tried several different menu items, and everything has been great. On top of things tasting good, the staff are friendly and they offer a clean, comfortable environment. Also, I stopped here for lunch on my birthday, and they gave me a free drink.

Oh gosh, my husband and I go absolutely bonkers over this!! Amazing great people, friendly atmosphere, and the coffee and hot chocolate is out of this world!! I would give a 10 star if I could!

Also, they have a free LGBT and coffee sticker if asked for! 😊

Excellent atmosphere, clean, spacious, good places to sit and chat. Good mocha, maybe a little sweet for my tastes, but pretty great.
