Hands down the BEST Italian hoagie in Altoona !
My wife cannot eat dairy, most places forget my special order and its always a hassle on both ends. Not at Family's, the order is rght every time. We get food here once or twice a month.
Always very friendly staff.

Crystal was so helpful when we ordered and was a delight as our waitress! The food was So Good! We had both wings and pizza and I can't decide which I liked better! I think I found my new favorite wing sauce, mild garlic. It was a bit spicy with butter and garlic on top. Oh My Goodness, yes, thank you! Yumm!! We will definitely be visiting again. Both my husband and I highly recommend this place!

Pizza was pretty good and the waitress was on point. I would definitely recommend and I'm going to be a future patron of this establishment.

Great place to get something to eat, the food is good, they give you plenty, and it comes out quick. You can sit at the bar or a table, kids are welcome and everyone will be happy with whatever they order! They don't deliver, but you can order for pickup and it's done in about 20 minutes. I could eat their steak salads and breaded cauliflower every day!

Good old school bar pie. Really enjoyed it. Loved the salad too. The fountain sodas were nice and bubbly. Nice local joint to relax and the people are friendly. This is my spot when I visit Altoona.

We was visiting Altoona from
potter county. We visit at least 2 times a month. This was the first time I tried their wings. They were cooked to “perfection “ crispy outside, juicy inside and the perfect sauce “mild” absolutely perfect! Now every visit I will get some to take home. The Best wings I’ve eaten since I live in Florida 20 yrs ago!

best damn pizza i ever had its better than my town i pive in johnstown pa and im glad i stoped at this place with the family its big slices was perfect for me thank you for the best pizza

We have been eating from here weekly. My husband loves their meatball hoagie. I am working my my through the menu. All the food has been delicious and is priced reasonably. It is our favorite go to when I don't cook.

Went here for a class reunion the banquet room is huge and perfect for large gatherings, I had the cheese fries the past time, but good pizza.

I love this pizza shop! Their pizzas are huge!!! The slices are super big per slice. It’s very family friendly here, and the service is food. Everything comes out on time. I enjoy their wings too. In my opinion, family pizza has the best wings in altoona! They have a big party room for birthday parties. I will be coming here again soon.

we celebrated our sons 23rd birthday and we were very happy with the food and service everything was perfect. Our wings were done to perfection and the strombolis were done to perfection as well. we will highly recommend our friends and family to your fine establishment. we have a pizza shop in our home town but its worth the half hour trip to your restaurant.

The food was quick and tasty! I had the cheese steak wrap and it had great flavor.

I come in here periodically for take out. Today I came in and ordered my food to go. The wonderful people who work there as always made me feel welcome, but more so they treat you like family. The food is always good and to the customers in a timely manner.

Great staff, good food, and cold drinks! This is a wonderful place for those Friday or Saturday night get togethers with friends. Very fun atmosphere and the prices are good.

Just finished a banquet there honoring the Lady Blue Devils State Champions in Basketball, the girls were given their Rings and Lettermen Jackets. The food was great and the service was fast and friendly.
