It's the perfect place for a romantic date all while tasting the best wood fired oven style pizza, not to mention the large drink menu that they have.

This is the first place we ate at when we moved to the area from Idaho! We absolutely love the pizza, and they have one of the best beer selections in town! The service has been amazing every time we stop in. We will definitely be returning and recommending!!

This was a great place to eat. The pizza was amazing. The atmosphere here was great! The service was good. We sat up stairs, which was cool because we got a birds eye view of the entire place. Definitely recommend if you're in the mood for some honesty pizza.

Our server was extremely nice and welcoming and food was amazing! The ranch for the salad alone is enough to go back! Would recommend!

Great setting in the revitalized downtown Altoona. Amazing food. I enjoyed the "Special Mushroom" pizza. This pizza isn't a micro dose, plenty of pizza for 2. The French toast stout is extremely flavourful. The sours were great as well. My server was friendly and helpful. If you haven't been here yet, stop in!

Fabulous brick fired pizzas. The sweet heat had a marvelous blend of flavors and lived up to its name. The Margherita was delicious with the fresh basil & mozzarella toppings. Will definitely be back to try other flavors.

Wait staff were quite friendly and attentive, without being intrusive.

I've been here many times, but most recently tried the Rodizio Dining experience. I highly recommend it! It gives you the opportunity to try multiple different pizzas! You may just find your new favorite!

One of the best restaurants in Altoona! The beer selection is phenomenal, among the top homebrews I've ever tasted, and I'm from Wisconsin! I was delighted by the awesome indoor aesthetic and jovial staff. Vegan/vegetarian-friendly! A great time for the average price of a lonely Dominoes dinner. Can't wait to go again!

Shockingly good Pizza! We tried 5 different pizzas for our group and every Pizza was delicious. I lived in Italy for 4 years and I did not expect to find this quality of Pizza here in Altoona PA. Will be back everytime I'm in town.

There are very few pizzas I've had in the United States of this quality.

We had a group gathering tonight and were wowed with the excellent customer service, food, overall dining atmosphere and experience. Trey was our server; he was personable and accommodating to our group needs and the order changes we had. We had pizza and salads everyone said about how good their meals were. They do have a real gem on the menu and that's the meatball appetizer -- I am not quite sure how to describe it except to say you taste the meat and not that 'filler' taste normally found in meatballs there is a hint of cheese and the sauce is a full burst of tomato taste with a nice finish of fresh basil. I had my first experience with cider and loved it -- the strawberry cider was a nice balance of tart and sweet. JJ Hadleys is absolutely worth the time to get off Pleasant Valley Blvd and make a short detour to downtown Altoona.

Food was excellent. Service was top notch. This time I didn't try a beer. Wood fired pizza excellent. Price was also very reasonable. Finally a win, win, and win.

This pickle prosciutto pizza was to die for!!! It was even better leftover because the cheesy and pickle flavor intensified. I’m not a beer and pizza person. Probably one of the few but the Oh Golden was so light and complimented the pizza perfectly. The view from the big windows and the space out front was so nice with all the natural light flowing in.

JJ Hadley's has been such a great addition to Altoona. Offering up a change in the normal local pizza experience. Their food never disappoints and their house brewed beers are always good.

The food was to die for, one of the best restaurants in altoona. Every bite was amazing, definitely worth the money. The only suggestion I have is to serve the sandwiches/entrees with a side.

Friendly bartender and server. Enjoyed the oven fried pepperoni pizza. My sister like their beer and I had 7 Mountains 10 point wine.

Best traditional wood fired pizza I've had outside of NYC... I'd expect to find this in a big city, but not here! Highly recommend stopping by for a pie!
