Food was fantastic! Got the fish platter best fish I've had lately fry's were fresh cut and excellent. Wings were excellent they have a nice selection of sauces. Soup french onion was excellent. Portion sizes are very generous. Only thing they were out of was my brand of beer but hey 4 out of 5 isn't bad. Had a very nice meal & atmosphere is very nice this 1800's building still holds a lot of it's historic significance and is nicely kept. Worth the trip! Sorry I already had started to eat my meal when I took pictures guess I was hungry. Better make reservations if you are coming here.

My first time, our appetizer and my dinner (Valentine's Day specials) was so, so good! I will definitely go back! My only complaint was some of the bar sitters were a little loud and obnoxious but they left before our dinner came out and we were able to eat in peace. Beautiful place and great food.

The food is absolutely delicious. Great portions. We loved the atmosphere. Definitely a historical little gem. My husband got their western BBQ burger. I got their club sandwich and mac and cheese and we got a small margherita pizza to share. Everything was so good and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Definitely will be going back.

Fantastic find, not planned. Great little, very old pub with really good food & vibe. Best of all, it still has a "spitton trough" at the base of the bar. Common in late 1800s, this is one of five still existent in the US. It's the only one with still functioning water flow, which the bartender demo'd.

I had not been there since December of 2012. I'm now vegan and they were very helpful and friendly about helping to keep true to my diet. Loved the decorations. Thank y'all so much and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🎉

Nicest place in Hollidaysburg. Is go do far as to say one if the nicest places to eat it drink in the entire area. They sporta gorgeous huge old wooden bar with one of the best selections of microbrews you'll find locally. The dining area reminds you of a house, but it's dressed up petty nice. The food is trendy gastropub style fare with a few fancier entree options. The prices are reasonable for what you get, but expect to pay for quality. The bathrooms are clean. The parking can be a bit full. I walked in at 6:30 on a Friday night and had no problem getting a table.

I use to live on Wayne Street. I would walk to US Hotel Tavern and eat quite often. I would go to have lunch or go for dinner. Wether your sitting at the bar, at a booth or in the dining area its very quaint and cozy. They have a wide variety of food and it's delicious. I feel they give you a huge portion because every time I went I left with extra food. They also have a banquet area, it's so beautiful. It is able to be rented for a wedding or any type of party you may have. I also went here to have a few drinks. It's laid back, comfortable and fun. If you get a chance and your passing through town or your in town you have got to stop here. The food is amazing, the employees are friendly. The service is fast. I know...you'll enjoy it. If you are out and about and want to grab a drink just drop by. The old photos they have displayed on the walls that you can look at and the old bar that still there is amazing to look at and see. You won't be disappointed.

I went here to an event, Lunar Fest, a witchy event. I had no food buy the drinks are always great. As is the very old - 1832- hotel. It's quite a sight to see. Even better when there is an event there.

Super pleased with the generous portions and reasonable prices. Very friendly service and extremely helpful accommodating a friend with diet limitations. Owner was so nice to give helpful tips on the area being we were out of towners. Red Roquefort Dressing was the bomb! Delish! Crab soup was just like a bowl from Chesapeake bay!

Cool place with decent selection of beers on tap and good cocktails. We did a couple of beer flights. We enjoyed our appetizers. The Drunken Mushrooms were good, but the Deep Fried Pierogis were superb. The Black & Blue Burger was really good but their Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac & Cheese was excellent. My wife has a sweet tooth and loved their Peanut Butter Pie. The tab wasn't bad at all. Will definitely come back.

Such a neat old building! The wait staff is wonderful and helpful. Food was delicious.

Food and service were great. My niece's wedding reception was there. I highy recommend there for special events.

I made a reservation here for a group of 5 on a Thursday night. My husband and I arrived early so we grabbed a drink at the bar. They have a decent beer list with a variety of options, most from PA. I just love their beautiful old bar, it has so much character. I don't recall the bartender's name but she was very friendly. We were seated for our reservation then. Our server was Mike and he was super attentive and friendly. I had the white pizza with a side salad. My husband raved about his burger, and everyone else enjoyed their entrees too. I would definitely return here for dinner and the great service!

Good food and nice portions. Crab cakes are twice the size of any place around.

My first meeting with class members. Dinner was excellent, our wait staff was very accommodating, and our time of catching up with each others' lives was terrific. We are planning out next gathering in March of 2023.

Hope to see more class members at that time.
