The Wine Cellar Restaurant

I have been coming here for years! It gets busy at times so it’s always good to plan on being there for a while. Everything is made from scratch by one person. It’s worth the drive from wherever you’re coming from and it’s worth the wait if they are busy.

Looking for a romantic date night? Or a nice dinner with the family? Well this is the place for you. The food is very good, made and served fresh. The waiters here are excellent. Make sure to make your reservation at least a week in advance.

My brother surprised me with dinner for my birthday the food was unbelievable the service was out of this world our waitress rose was delightful and I asked Joe for a recommendation on wine to compliment my dinner and he was spot on with the wine best birthday in a long time only thing is why is there only 1 entrance and exit isn't that against code and unsafe?

Excellent food each time I've ate there. Homemade pasta selection is fantastic. Fantastic desserts especially the coconut cake. Staff is friendly and efficient plus you can watch the food being prepared. Full bar and nice selection of wines. Pasta dishes are huge! You will not leave hungry!

Always busy and would absolutely recommend reservations for Friday and Saturday dinner.

Our dinning experience was amazing! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very unique! The food was to die for and prices were very good for the quality and portion size. Would highly recommend but make a reservation, it fills up quick!

Always a treat to eat at the Wine Cellar. Love the Drunken Shrimp as an appetizer. Pasta dishes are really good. I usually get Chicken Parmigiana with Gnocchi. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, service is great.

Was at the local high school for my child’s track meet and found online. Food was incredible and the service was even better. We had no reservations but they were able to squeeze us in. Thanks so much!

Wonderful food and drinks, surprisingly cozy, the service was great. I can't find a fault with this restaurant. If you go when you turn off of 53 onto Chestnut Street, stay on Chestnut Street it just past the train bridge. Go you'll love it.

This place is a hidden gem in tiny Galitizin PA! If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine and wonderful service then you’ve come to the right place. The home made pasta and the excellent wine selection make this an experience to remember! I will return!

Miss your Mom's home cooking? Dine at this hidden gem. Everything is homemade. Save for a special occasion because it is a little pricey. Steps go down to the wine cellar, so if you have issues with stairs call to see about another entrance. Everyone very accomodating. Everyone was dressed nicely, but not suit and tie.

Great food. Small restaurant and you do need to make a reservation. People were very nice. It is a tight stairway going down into the restaurant.

A hidden gem, worth the trip. I felt like I was in Grand man Nona's home, served right from her kitchen. Every dish prepared with love.
