Excellent drinks! Loved the atmosphere and vibe. I walked in and the waitress immediately brought over a sample of the cocktail on tap. It was delicious! So many lovely drinks to choose from and there is a lite fair menu. I had 2 apps. The pretzel was done perfectly and the salmon cake with brussel sprouts can be its own meal. Definitely will be back!

My wife and I came down from Niagara Falls, Canada for a Penn State Birthday. We stayed one street over from this Five Star Gem, and we can definitely say…. WE ARE going to come back to this beautiful town!! Big Spring Spirits is a Five(Even More) Star Experience from top to bottom!! We tried almost all of the food and drinks on the menu, and they were all amazing!! The service was second to none!! Thank you Big Spring Spirits!! We will be back!!

We did the distillery tour and lunch. What a great experience. The on-site distiller was super knowledgeable and the information was a perfect mix of science and fun... just like the spirits.

The food was great. The tuna was perfectly marinated and the Brussel sprouts were really wonderful.

Seven governors gin is one of my favorites along with the premixed cocktails. Also, I got the boozy chocolate covered cherries around the holidays, and they were excellent. I can’t wait until the tasting room reopens. I highly recommend taking a cocktail lab!

Can’t say enough good things about Big Spring Spirits. The food, the drinks, the ambience, the service, everything. Their Tuesday Wednesday happy hour is a great deal.

Nomad kitchen does the food and it truly won me over. The menu changes monthly.
We tried the French picnic for two, the Mediterranean trio, the sesame noodles, the blueberry toast, and the chocolate dessert board. Loved every bite! The grassy area outside is dog friendly too!

Their flights are $7 for a tasting of any 6 of their several cocktail options. Fun and affordable way to try many different drinks!

I will definitely be back! Loved bringing friends for a relaxing and delicious evening on their patio.

One of the best distillery/restaurant experiences I've had. They're quick to suggest drinks that were exactly with our flavor profiles, and offer food pairings that worked well with the type of alcohol that we purchased.

The drinks range from seasonal delights, to old-fashioned classics with their signature vodka, gin, and whiskey spirits. Built in the old match factory, the atmosphere is urban, robust, and has a manufactured style but with a small town quaint feeling.

Well worth it. It's great for dates, or to come with a group of friends

Had a great dinner at big springs. Drinks great, suggestion from waitress for my wife worked out well (she likes it sweeter- the jungle bird was a hit!). The food from Taqueria Acosta was very good. Queso is a must because of the chips. And the pork quesadilla was very good. We will be back.

We went to the Nomad Kitchen, and Chef Meghan is phenomenal. We got a Mezze plate for two and a pretzel. We also ordered a mango highball and Wynridge farm cider . The experience was delightful!

I went with a large group (12) to celebrate a friend's birthday, they were able to seat us quickly on a Saturday night with no reservations. The waitress checked everyone's IDs before serving. I recommend ordering your food and drinks when they first take your order if you want food since the drinks are the primary focus. It was a positive experience all around, good food, good drinks, good service :)

Great ambiance and the staff was friendly. They have a wide variety of original cocktails; we tried 4 and they all were delicious. Good price too.

Had Lavendar Pedal Pusher and Silk Road cocktails, both very good. Atmosphere outside is really nice and calm.

Fun, creative cocktails in a beautiful space! Big Spring is not just a place to get a drink… it’s an experience.

Nice place for a first date, date night, cocktails with a group, etc. Indoor and outdoor seating options are comfortable, you can’t go wrong with either. Staff members are friendly, helpful, and attentive.

Distilleries are usually a great choice no matter where you are and Big Spring is no exception. Went on their guest chef Wednesday and the food was amazing but the service was even better. The bartender gave us samples and ran down the menu with great detail for first timers. The service was a bit sluggish but the place was packed for the event so it was to be expected. I love that you can buy any of their drinks (which are all fun plays on traditional spirited drinks) in a to go 1L bottle. This spot will definitely be a regular for me.

Drinks were incredible, food was delicious, service was great. I came here for a date night with my partner and we couldn’t have been more satisfied with Big Spring Spirits. The Pickled Governor and corn dip are a must. We will definitely be returning.

This is THE PLACE to go for mixed drinks. Their drink menu is fantastic and they’re always changing up the menu. They just lost their former food vendor — I can’t wait until they get their kitchen up and running again!

You may have not seen this place before, although it’s location is pretty obvious to the eyes.

It is located in that small business center on fox street in Bellefonte.

The place is very “ranch” style. It has this beautiful open, high, ceilings with wood finishes and a big hunted egg of—am going to take a guess here—deer. Very pleasant and comfortable. The windows give a clear ambience, which I personally enjoy.

The food: our wonderful chef is there, right there for you. He is not hidden in the kitchen, he is in the left side of the restaurant if you are looking to the bar. Did I say bar? Yes! There is a full bar an a few bartenders. The ones I saw were pure smiles :)

I got a liver sandwich with a green salad. The pâté was soft and it was NOT overwhelmingly liver-tasteful. It was the kind of mild flavor that makes you enjoy a good liver pâté.

There are other options to explore on the menu. Also, try to take a look on the “Chef’s tasting menu”. You might enjoy that. Just remember you wanna call before showing up for it.

The prices are good.
