Patient here since 2002. Only 2 bad visits in all these years. Did receive a letter from them 2 years ago about missing appointments and they were going to drop me as a patient. Unknown missed appointment. All good.

Dr Armstrong is a great doctor. Very down to earth and easy to talk to. It feels like we are partners in making me healthier. I never feel rushed, he looks at my health in a holistic way, and I really like he can help me in a variety of ways with suggestions and feedback. He is worth the drive up the mountain for sure!!! He is the best! I have experienced the office staff to be helpful and great as well!

I have seen Dr. Armstrong on a coupe of occasions and I really like him . I hope what I heard isn’t true and that he isn’t leaving Mainline Medical. However if he opens his own family practice in Cresson or surrounding area I would most definitely follow him there . He is a good doctor and a great addition to a Mainline Medical .

I have gone here since I was a kid, all the doctors I personally see try everything they can to help get a diagnosis and care about their patients, even new ones I have recommended going there. I personally See Dr. Lenz the most.

For the past week my wife has been running low grade to high grade fevers. Took her to see her doctor last week to get a diagnosis for being sick. They did a strep test, and flu test, then sent us on our way. Telling us to take Tylenol and dayquil, that if she doesn't get any better to call back in. 7 days later, she is still running low grade fevers, cough, head ache, massive facial pressure. Upon making another appointment, the doctor, and nurse belittle her, telling her that people go to work all the time not feeling well. They gave a steroid shot to help with the facial pressure. That's 2 appointments, 2co-pays, still no diagnosis on whats going on. They made my Wife cry due to making her feel bad because she sick. The staff is hit or miss on getting a good nurse. The one nurse refused to wear a mask or gloves while doing the strep test, and said it's fine, that she is covered in germs when asked to put on a mask.

Applied to be a patient on June 23rd. Still waiting for my medical files to be reviewed and an appointment to be booked. 49 days is a bit excessive...
It is now October 1st. Still no contact from Mainline.

I’d give 0 stars if possible. Called to get a prescription filled for my asthma. I have had exposure to covid and have symptoms. Upon my calling it was very evident that I was extremely winded and short of breath, to the point the nurse even mentioned possible ER visit. Promised me she’d fill my script and talk to my dr about providing me a steroid (I have done this many many times in the past to help with seasonal asthma).

You would think due to my high risk and expose that this would be something that would be handled. It’s the day before thanksgiving and of course my medicine was not ordered before the holiday. Mainline medical sucks and I will be changing doctors on Friday. Totally unacceptable. Don’t go to mainline if you want your safety or health to be a concern to your doctor

Worthless. They have a couple really good doctors (Dr. Armstrong is our favorite), but the scheduling, phone system, hour+ waits, stressed staff, and overall experience makes a visit so unpleasant that it is more than worth your time to drive to Altoona or Ebensburg. Here’s hoping Armstrong starts his own family practice.
