Very good excursion! The train is in really great shape and the seating is very comfortable. The restoration is near perfect. The train crew was also wonderful. You could tell that they love what they do.
There was even an air conditioned car! We elected to ride in a car with most of the windows open, which was nice.
The train traveled at a nice speed, not just poking along like other excursion trains.
Once under way you could walk to the front car to the rear car and see the sights. One thing of interest was riding past an old factory that was being torn down. Also great views of a quarry.
There were also a couple of tables if you wanted to have a picnic lunch.
This is one of the best overall rides we have taken.

We rode the ice cream special from Holidaysburg to Roaring Springs. It was a hit for the children! Even the adults were impressed. Very friendly staff, and fun to ride with!

A beautiful train ride that makes a quite dreary season feel a little more like Christmas.

Every child got to spend a little time with Santa as he walked through the cars, which were beautifully kept and tastefully decorated, and the crew were all very friendly.

If you're looking for a fun, relaxing, and unique experience for not only bringing the kids to see Santa but also for family memories, I'd definitely recommend this train ride.

The train ride was so interesting even though there wasn't as much fall foliage as I'd like to have seen for a Fall Foilage Tour. My husband and I enjoyed the slow, easy ride and all the scenery.

What a fun family/grandkids experience! Hot cocoa and cookies are a nice touch! Not a lot of holiday lights on the rail line this year.

This specific ride we went on, we traveled to Martinsburg, where we exited the train and had reserved seating for the parade. Two slices of pizza were also included with the price of the ticket. The Everett Railroad runs both steam and diesel and runs several special trains. What a great railroad.

This was my first time taking this train ride and it didn't disappoint. Although I had to travel nearly 3 hours to go on this train ride it was well worth the time. I did the Steam into Cove train ride which is 3 hours roundtrip. All Aboard!!!

The train ride is fun and the Easter egg hunt was cool....my son loved it and my parents thought it was awesome.

Was great went for the ride and pumpkin picking. Only complaint would be I wish it were a much longer ride but I enjoyed Evey minute. Scheduled another ride this time the 3 hour one. I recommend for the family. They also do a Christmas ride as well. So worth the trip to experience it.

We visited the Everett Railroad for their Santa Christmas ride. It was the first time for us going there and we enjoyed it very much! Everyone who works there is very pleasant and inviting. The Santa train ride has complimentary hot chocolate and cookies for everyone before boarding, an experience meeting santa, and a photographer that takes your family's photo with a small fee for the memory keepsake. We will definitely be returning and recommend for a great experience!

I loved this experience ! My kids all loved it as well. I love to travel and this brought back so many memories Because I haven't been able to go anywhere. !
We seen horses and my kids thought it was so funny that we held up traffic while riding the train. ⛔ 🤣 . I would go again ! And I would recommend !

The ride was fun and lots of memories made with the family. Staff was so nice and friendly. Wish the ride was longer, but the kids still enjoyed and loved picking out their pumpkins and mama loved getting some great pics😁🎃

Yesterday, did the Steaming into the Cove, three-hour tour. It was a very enjoyable experience. It was nice to get to see some of the local areas from a different perspective. The train ride went over to Martinsburg junction and then the engine switched directions and took us back to Roaring Spring depot. There the company surprised us with ice cream, the lady said they were going to do that since it was a very hot day. At the Roaring Spring depot was where we were able to get up close shots of the steam engine. Highly recommended tour to take.

We took out 2 year old daughter on the Santa Express for the first time. She had a great time, Santa was perfect and the train was really cool, too. I'd come back for another ride.

A true holiday joy. But if your planning to eat, you won't find any food vendors here. They need to consider this. they would make a ton of money if they were to have food vendors. Still in all it was a great time.

Loved the experience! We took our toddler twins on the Santa ride who loved every minute. Well worth the drive from Pittsburgh.

We had a great time. My youngest granddaughter was thrilled to hang her head out the window. The pumpkins were a plus, the staff was awesome. Can't wait to do the Santa train and any other rides.

Nice ride to Martinsburg on a beautiful spring day. Everyone we interacted with was friendly.
Coaches are beautifully restored and clean. I highly recommend a ride on the Everett.
