Powerhouse Eatery

The appetizers were the star of the show - we enjoyed them so much we barely had room for our entrees. Everyone at our table was raving over the winter toast. Great drink recommendations from our server. Really enjoyed the braised short ribs over acorn squash ravioli and pork gorgonzola entrees.

Our waitor Eilson P. was an absolute pleaser! He was so kind! The food was delicious, we were not disappointed at all. Everything came at good pace and was cooked perfectly and the place itself was very unique. Prices are a little more but the quality is 100% worth it.

Was there for the first time on our anniversary. The service the food the atmosphere was all 100%. Price was on point. Nothing could have been better

My boyfriend and I dined here tonight. Upon entering, we were greeted with warm and professional seating hospitality. When entering the dining area, we noticed it was very clean, well-decorated, and very accommodating- with seating that allows for open conversation without being intrusive. The food preparation and plating was some of the very best, especially for this area. This restaurant is a hidden gem nestled in White Haven. All of our dishes were exemplary, and when complicated with a dish that we didn’t enjoy, our server Michael did everything and anything to accommodate us all while providing top-level service that you would expect to find in a gourmet restaurant in Philadelphia or better.

Had an amazing meal at Powerhouse two weeks back on a Wednesday, oyster night. Delicious cocktails, unique and original dishes, wonderful atmosphere and great service. Friendly waitstaff that elevated the night with a traditional table-side serving of Absinthe. Brian, our waiter, was extremely energetic and attentive, and with some help from his friends he treated us to a new experience with the absinthe tasting. Great job!!

Wonderful dining experience! I had a pumpkin pie martini to drink and lobster bisque for an appetizer. For the main entree, I had salmon with risotto. Everything was delicious!

Fantastic dinner. Really cool little piece of history turned into a fun restaurant.
Service was good, food creative and great, and drinks very tasty.

We especially loved the calamari (so light and crispy!) and the summer toast. We got several sides including Brussels sprouts and carrots, both of which were good.

Their interpretation of chicken masala was different, with the sauce more like a glaze. It wasn't what I expected but was very good nonetheless.

Family and friends of 6 enjoyed a wonderful meal, great service, and excellent atmosphere. We all ordered different meals, and all were delicious. Waitress was Zoey, and she was attentive, personable, and took care of all our needs. Not my first time dining here, and never had anything but 5 star food and service.

Really Awesome place, delicious foods i got sea bass bites they were literally out of this world good, my cousin got the meatball app then we had the bread and fancy butter. He had a NYC Strip steak and i had the bourbon glazed salmon, possibly the best meal of ‘22!! We’ll definitely be there again soon 🔥🙏

Had a memorable dinner experience at PowerHouse Eatery recently! We made reservations at Powerhouse Eatery for dinner a few Saturdays ago because we had heard really good things about it. It has a really cool and unique industrial vibe and an interesting story and history story for sure, I liked how they maintained some of the features from when it was a power plant prior to being remodeled. The industrial ambiance adds a unique touch to the dining atmosphere. We were seated right away, the service was good, and the food was delicious, but took FOREVER to come out. Despite a slight delay in food service, the delicious flavors compensated well. Looking forward to revisiting!

My friend and I have started a sort of tradition of driving up state to catch up and find great places to eat. We had driven past the Powerhouse Eatery a few times during our drives and always wanted to try it. We finally did on our most recent trip. It is very cool because it is situated on its own road and the restaurant sits alone with nothing around.

We were greeted by a very nice young man who sat us. Our server, Wilson, who has a long history of restaurant service in many fine restaurants both here and in NYC, was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable with the menu. There were chipotle chicken fingers on the menu that he suggested as an appetizer which we decided to try. We then asked Wilson about the ribeye steak and he stated that they were the "best". We both thought that was a bold claim and decided to try them.

I have to honestly say that the chicken fingers were absolutely amazing and this was just the beginning! We received our steaks and they were equally amazing. They were cooked to perfection and just out of this world! We were both so very impressed that we had to have desert! Wilson suggested the creme brulee and lemon chiffon cake. I was really kind of full but I did get some ice cream. My friend opted for the creme brulee which we were told was made in house. Wilson brought us our deserts and even gave us a sample of the lemon chiffon cake to try. Those deserts were truly off the charts!!!

That truly was the cherry on top for our amazing meal! We were so impressed with Wilson and the food that we asked to speak to Wilson's manager. An extremely friendly executive chef named Dylan came out to greet us. He was extremely cool as we expressed our gratitude for the service and the meal. After talking to both of them, you can certainly tell that they love the place they work for and take great pride and care with the food.

If you are ever up in the White Haven area or at the Poconos for a visit, please give Powerhouse Eatery a shot, you wont regret it.

You are hit with a mouth watering smell of seafood when you arrive. Excellent menu selection, including the kids menu! All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. It was the perfect way to end a long day of travel.

Attentive server and high quality food served with a great presentation. Drink selection is also unique.

I expected more of a tavern fair menu, but it actually has a fine dining flare. Chef did a fantastic job. Everything was excellent. The dessert was great also.

Frankly, one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had! Drinks, food, and service were all outstanding! This is not hyperbole - it was that good. We came to the area for a couple days of skiing. We'll come back to the area for additional visits to the Powerhouse Eatery!

I drove past this place on the way to work everyday for six years and never stopped in. Well I ate there today and had no idea what I was missing. The food was excellent. Medium priced and the waiter had an awesome personality and was very attentive to our needs. I don't know why it took me so long to eat there.. But I'll definitely be returning

Had a really great dinner. Our appetizers were amazing. My steak was perfectly done and seasoned. The front staff when we walked and the the bartenders were not very welcoming to our group but our waiter mike made up for it all. Thanks mike. The only thing I would say is it seem like we were being rushed out at the end. We had a group of 12. We had a reservation for 815. If they didn’t want to their past a certain time maybe told us a head of time or shouldn’t of taken the reservation for a large group that late. They stop seating at 9 I believe. Understandable though everybody wants to go home after a long day and we had a large group. Again anything that was wrong with the restaurant or staff our waiter made up for it all. Next time I’m up here I would definitely will go back.

This place is excellent! Amazing service, great food, and good vibes all around. The appetizers and entrees we delicious! I highly recommend the meatball appetizer!
