We unexpectedly were able to walk in today for lunch. (Reservations are highly recommended. ) We shared a Massaman curry and Som Tum Thai salad. Both were ordered as 3 spiciness. The salad was very spicy, while the curry was perfect. The dining is casual. The service was very good. A variety of Vermont beers from Switchback, Foley Brothers and Burlington Beer Co.

The food is phenomenal. The veggie spring rolls were very crispy and good. The Panang curry was really well seasoned with fresh vegetables which were cooked to perfection. The Pad See ew chewy noodles were well seasoned with great mouth feel. The mango sticky rice dessert was great too. The service was a bit slow. The servings a bit small. Tried to order another dish but it was going to be over 40 minutes for it to come out. I would order more than you think you want as soon as you get there.

Wow, we have been trying to get a resy here for awhile and finally it happened and we were delighted with fresh, authentic Thai cuisine- delicious salad, pork, scallop, and shrimp dishes all with fresh veggies. The sticky rice - mango - warm coconut milk was a great finale! Steve, the owner, is humble and grateful for the rave reviews and full house once again. We’ll be back soon!

We asked our server to recommend dishes that could be made gluten free and vegetarian, and the resulting meal was truly amazing! We got the shredded mango salad, pad see ew, and panang curry. Each dish was so bright and layered in flavor!! All the vegetables were so fresh, and the herbs even came from the chef’s garden! My favorite was certainly the mango salad, and my sister loved the curry. The pad see ew was exceptional as well, with chewy rice noodles and perfectly cooked tofu! And mango sticky rice is always a must order. Make your reservation now!

Hands down the BEST Thai food on the east coast. The flavors were rich and delicious, the colors amazing and atmosphere fantastic! We drove several hours to try this place (not kidding) and it was WORTH the drive

Just had lunch there. #19 is the best fried chicken I've ever had in my life. And the ginger sauce was also the best I've ever had. It was magical. It's an honor to be served here. I can't believe you can get food like this in Randolph. Thank you for the great memory

Yes the service could improve, but this is also excellent Thai food. You taste the broth and you’re like wow that’s so good. Is there better in NYC or places like that? Yes, but probably the best Thai food in the state. A few good vegan options but not too many.

I’ve had SAAP a handful of times now and I can say it’s one of the best restaurants in the area. The food is incredible just as long as you don’t get it to go. The atmosphere is very unique and has a inviting feeling the second you walk through the door, definitely a must stop for anyone passing through.

Highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or a nice date. The food was very flavorful, menu had a lot of options. Portions are smaller when compared to American food but definitely enough for a filling meal. Was only sad I missed out on the whole fried red snapper special. Will be back soon!

Really good, authentic Thai food. Very caring staff. Charming yet unpretentious dining room. Reservations are necessary for dinner and recommended for lunch. Lots of specials as well as the classics. Some Northern Thai options which are great. Their spice level of 0-5 is pretty conservative. You might need a minimum of 2 to really feel any heat. I've been here 4 times now and each time there has only been one person working the tables and bar, so don't expect fast food. But you'd have to go to Portland ME or NYC to get Thai food of this caliber.

Lived up to the hype. My wife and I drove down from the Burlington area to see what the fuss is all about and boy was it a superb meal. The mango salad was truly delicious, but be warned: even the level 1 spice is spicy (thanks for the tip, Jesse)! Both of us had pretty 'normal' Thai meals (my wife: curry, me: stir fry veggies w/ chicken and a fried egg), but the quality was a notch above what you'd get at your local Thai spot. The veggies registered as very fresh and generally the meal felt as if it was made with love by someone really taking their time.

Attended retirement party (about 20 adults) when omicron COVID-19 exponentially spreading in surrounding states. Venue well sized for this group. Ventilation felt ok (not stuffy). Staff seem d to do good job encouraging patrons to be safe.
Hours before attending each guest self-tested negative.
Our host said venue management easy to work with, accommodating with flexible menu choices, and pricing was reasonable. Local art on exhibit and friendly staff a plus.

Best Thai food outside of Thailand!! We’ve been coming here for years and were blown away by Rungs cooking; Ive tried almost everything on the menu and loved it but the thick noodles and the wings are my all time faves.

The hype is very much justified.

This has been on our list for a while since learning the chef/owner won a James Beard award. After a visit, it is very well deserved. The spice level is perfectly on par with what you order (you have an option from 1-5). The flavors are identical to what you would find in Thailand, making this authentic Thai cuisine. For such high quality food, the price is well worth it in value. We drove an hour both ways to dine-in and plan to make the trip again. Thank you!

We went for dinner (our second visit) and it did not disappoint! We tried the Muu Dad Deaw appetizer, the Tom Yum Ghai Isan soup, and the Pad Thai with chicken. All were excellent, and we learned to do heat level 1! (Last time we did 4 - that was too much for a girl that covers her pizza in red pepper flakes!) Also, our server, Leo, was AWESOME! So personable, pleasant and attentive! Can't wait to return!!! Yummy!

Excellent Thai dishes and excellent service in a comfortable dining area. Especially good was the green curry with shrimp and squid. Portions were generous. We ordered #1 spice level, which was hot. We need to return to check out level #2. A must visit if you’re anywhere in the vicinity of Randolph VT!

We tried the tasting menu option for our large party of 12. It was a unique experience and somewhat like a family style dining experience as a result. We received 3 platters of each appetizer we selected for the table to share. Likewise 3 of each additional item we ordered for the table to share. The server recommend we try one of each type of entre for the best experience, such as salad, noodle dish, rice dish and special. We only partially followed this suggestion. The menu was available as a QR code for phone viewing and on a laminated menu upon request for those without devices. The online menu is the menu. This was a birthday celebration and we brought a cake with us. SAAP staff were very accommodating and provided or offered a cutting knife, serving spatula, clean cake plates, lighter and forks. We made reservations about a month before hand for 4:30 and in general most other customers didn't begin to arrive till later. Overall it was great to be able to sit down as a family and celebrate. Thanks for helping to make the event special. Regarding food, I enjoyed the distinct flavors - for example I could clearly taste the ingredients in the appetizers. Our group didn't select entrees that I would normally order at Thai restaurants so it was nice to try something different with the tasting option. Everything I tried was enjoyable with the tasting menu but not necessarily my preference. I plan to go again to try dishes that I would actually order like one of the curry dishes. On this evening most other customers were in small tables of two - 4 people/adults.
