Old Original Nick's Roast Beef

Stopped for a late lunch after missing Nick's the last time we drove through West Chester and are we glad we did... 😋👌🏻 we shared the beef, pork and turkey with gravy and provolone on a soft kaiser with a side of onion rings and a couple of ice cold beers! 🍔🍔🍔🍺🤤 Theresa, our waitress was a sweetheart and made the experience even more enjoyable! 🥰👏🏻

Our first time. Good roast beef which I loaded up with horseradish and hot peppers. The building is split between a nice sit down restaurant and a sports bar.

Only ordered togo but walked into a clean environment packed with guests.
The waitress multi-task well and immediately approached once she saw I needed help.
The food was delicious , I had a roast beef & cheese sandwich along with turkey gravy fries 😋

Perfect local spot. Friendly people. Good food. Best tap beer in the area. Added chicken fingers to the menu recently. Good option for the kids.

A long-time staple in the area. The sandwiches are large and the meats are full of flavor. I can get busy, but the staff is always quick and courteous.

Absolutely loved it. Simple and small menu, yet everything on it it 10/10. Looks good and taste good! Staff was nice. Place is clean! Location is good. If you like roast beef you must visit and try them out!

One of the best roast beef sandwiches I've had in a very long time. Certainly one of the best in the area. Ordered a roast beef combo, onion rings and a draft beer. The service was great! The food was great! The beer was cold! Not a single negative thing to say. It was an all around pleasant experience and I'm really looking forward to going back and trying the roast pork next time.

Ordered the pork roast sandwich with cheese, broccoli rabbe, and had it drenched in gravy.. and it was honestly phenomenal. We also got fries, onion rings and a roast beef sandwich with cheese, and everything was delicious. Atmosphere was easy going and comfortable, bar area is small but decent size, and staff was very nice and prompt.

I have been going to Nick’s Roast Beef for over 20 years. This was always the original Nicks in South Philly. So when I moved to West Chester, I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised that there was a Nicks Roast Beef right down the road. I went there with a cohort of mine who has yet to go to Nick's and is from North Jersey originally.

When you pull into the parking lot, there are more than enough spaces for what the building holds. The bar area is on the left, dining is on the right, and honestly, the bar area is the actual Nick's experience. They have enough staff, and a waitress is at the table quickly. So naturally, there is little decision as you are getting either beef, pork, or turkey (combo, personally) with an order of Gravy fries if you're treating yourself.

The service is quick, and the quality is top-notch. Each type of sandwich melts in your mouth. If you have it for the first time, there is nothing quite like the taste of Nick’s sandwich, especially the Roast Beef. If you want my recommendation, a Roast Beef combo with Gravy Fries, that is the authentic Nick's experience. Enjoy and keep up the great taste and tradition!

I've never actually been here to eat but I've had sandwiches from their food truck a few times and they're amazing.

The roast beef was absolutely awesome. We hit it during the lunch rush, but still fairly quick. Our server was totally the best, a complete sweet heart, and extremely attentive. Highly recommend the fries with gravy. The only thing that would make them better is cheese curds, but I am from Wisconsin now, so cheese.

If you are looking for a top notch roast beef or hot turkey sandwich this is the place to go. Not a lot of selection but what they do have they do very well. Sandwiches totally hit the spot and they have a decent selection of beer on tap. Not the place to go if you are looking for vegan, gluten free, or salad.

Relaxed atmosphere. Nice friendly service fantastic food!!! Get a roast beef and a roast pork and do halfsies !!! Add lots of horseradish and peppers and they are amazing!!!

Great old fashioned roast beef and pork sandwiches. Be sure to put the horseradish on the beef and order the broccoli rabe for the pork. I used to go to Nicks in the city when I was in college, and this is pretty close to the original

What a great place for a nice roast beef sandwich. Make sure you get the roast beef combo, comes with cheese. Add your own horseradish and you're good to go.

Always a great sandwich. I did a take out order for 8 roast beef combos and brought them to a little party. The staff did a great job of packaging everything up (peppers, horseradish, extra gravy). Everyone loved it! I am a regular at all of the Nick’s locations.

Great food. Big portions. Cold beer. Win win win.

My husband and I went for a quick bite last night for dinner.
We were seated right away. Our waitress was awesome and our food was served within 5-10 minutes!!

In town for a hockey tournament. The history and short menu had me hooked. Friendly environment (West Chester), courteous and friendly staff, and one of the best, pure roast beef sandwiches you will ever eat. Provolone perfectly sharp for the meat and drippings. Portion more than worth the price. Delicious.
My only regret is not tipping the bartender for taking my order. I wasn’t thinking, obviously. I’ll be sure to double tip when I go back.
