The Toasted Monkey Restaurant & Tavern

There was no way I was driving by the Toasted Monkey without stopping! Anything with a monkey in its name has to be good. Prompt service. Smoke free. Three flat screens. Clean. The Toasted Monkey has a very good balance between"tavern" and" restaurant" which is, in many cases, missed in a huge way. Usually there is too much tavern and not enough restaurant. Just right here! Food was great. The gigantic"Thor Burger" was literally too big to get my jaws around. These 1/4 pound patties are the real deal, They are clearly not the frozen kind that far too many restaurants are serving today. So the bottom line is this. If you are anywhere in this area, stop looking for some place to eat and get over to the Toasted Monkey.

Wow! Great time at the "Toasted Monkey!" Our waitress let us pick a table and was quick getting our drink orders. ALL of our apps were right out after our drinks were delivered. 4 of us said "Try THIS," when our entrees arrived and our waitress checked in frequently.
Cheese steak sandwich was huge, and I agree, deserved the award for best winning in a category. Pulled pork Cuban wrap was spectacular, a burger that was loaded with signature flavors, and a surprisingly large strawberry salad with vinaigrette. Cold beers, good mixes, great time and nearly a million options. 5 stars and a tail UP!

STOP SEARCHING, FRIENDS! You need not look any further. The Toasted Monkey has got it all and you will not regret a visit. Great food and drinks!! The service is top notch…they all go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your experience (even the owner). I wouldn’t steer you wrong, folks!!!

Stopped here for dinner and had a good time. Sat at the bar and the service was excellent. The place had all sorts of monkeys including a photo opp area with some monkeys. I wasn't terribly hungry but got the pretzels and beer cheese while my boyfriend and our friends all got burgers. The food was good and when I went to the restroom I got a kick out of this condom dispenser.

Amazing atmosphere and even better burgers! They had no wait on a Saturday night where other restaurants had a 40-60 minute wait. Serving staff is friendly and helpful without being annoying, and got us everything we wanted promptly.

For a little hole in the wall in nowhere ville. Hyde. It a good place to eat great atmosphere. Dj Gigi doing music bingo and her old man Allen Santa clause fantastic job

Great Great place . The food is so much more then you expect. The service is great and all the staff is nothing but nice and respectful.

Ordered lunch here and they gave me my fries for free just because they were a little dark not that I was complaining the service was great. My burger was delicious, the fries were good and I also had a side of boneless wings I recommend the sweet chili.

The staff here are always kind. We have only gotten things to go but the food is delicious and the staff are courteous. The wings are delicious and a very fair price.

I was there for about 2 hours. We have the appetizer tacos, some beer, and shots. Priced ok. Service could've been better and the food was ok. I would stop again if nothing else was open

Husband and I went to the toasted monkey for dinner. They were swamped! A couple large tables were there before the two of us. We sat down anyway. To my surprise the waitress greeted us immediately and got our drinks and food order. While we waited we were able to play Keno and the waitress checked on us repeatedly and always filled our drinks. When our food came everything was amazing even though they were so busy no mistakes It was so delicious we ordered another burger before we left! We absolutely love this place. Best service and food around!!

I love this local restaurant/bar. The food is delicious! The owners and staff are such awesome people that show great hospitality every single time we go there.

This tavern is the peak of dine in/ take out. If you like good food come here.. I assure you, you will feel like you have just entered heaven. The food here is exquisite. 5/5 definitely reccomend.

Awesome place, great atmosphere, great staff. Best wings in the area. All the wing sauces are crafted in house. This place never lets me down.

My sister and I spent a week in Clearfield and chose Toasted Monkey for lunch on June 27. There was a single server on the phone with the world's largest takeout order. Upon hanging up, she immediately greeted us. She was professional and efficient in a situation many would have found overwhelming. We had nachos with steak, and they were fabulous! Even with the slighly longer wait for our meal, which we expected knowing that a huge order came in, it was definitely worth it. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return when I'm in the area!

The band that was there the last time really rocked the house. The food was amazing as always. I hope to see dear friends again soon.

This place has always been amazing. However, they just started their new menu and I cannot get enough. The Buffalo Chicken Dip Bread Bowl and Pulled Pork Pizza are two of my favorites. It is always so hard to decide. They keep atleast one interesting beer on tap and they have a large selection of bottled beer as well. If you are going for a mix drink, go for the Big Ass Orange Crush...you will not be disappointed! Lunch and dinner times are family friendly. After about 8pm on the weekends, it's usually pretty hopping with either a wide array of music on the juke box or live music from some of the best musicians available. Whenever celebrities happen to visit the small Clearfield area, they always seem to end up at the Monkey.

After every practice we have in clearfeild we come here! Beers are responsibly priced and the food is fantastic! They also opened an hour earlier for us!! Definitely recommend this place!!
