Whispering Pines Camping Estates

We were planning on staying here for about a month but our forever home was not ready for us to move to so we extended our stay for almost 3 months. Teresa & her husband are great! Everything on the site was clean and well maintained. The pool was always clean same with the bathhouse. We had a great first time rv living here. I am glad we stayed here and would highly recommend Whispering Pines.

My husband and I and two dogs reserved a site for 4 nights. When we called, we explained we have 2 large well-behaved dogs. The owner said she would give us a site at the end of the campground. It was a huge site which felt isolated from the rest of the campground. View of the pond with woods behind and beside us. We got to fish, saw deer every day. It was very relaxing. The owners are helpful and pleasant. If you have a large family or camp in groups and want to “party,” this may not be the place for you. But, if you are like us and want to just sit back and relax without golf carts zooming by......it is the perfect place. Well maintained. We will be back! Thanks!

Just stayed at Whispering Pines for a long weekend. This campground was really nice. VERY quiet campground. Very secluded. Lots of beautiful farm country surrounding it. Mostly seasonal sites but there were several weekend sites. The sites are big, well shaded and grassy. The restrooms were clean. If you use the showers you will need quarters. The campground store was pretty small but had all the essentials if you forgot something. It was about 20 minutes from Ricketts Glenn state park. There were several wineries close as well. The owners Theresa and David were friendly and helpful. It has a small pool too. Looking forward to future camping trips at this really well kept campground...Debi R

Wood is what makes a lot of the camping experience for me. Teresa offered well seasoned wood at 3 different size/price points. We opted for the huge cart for an absolutely reasonable price, then, " I can deliver it to your site if you want. " We wanted!

Awesome campground. Could not be happier with our camping spot Lots to do at the campground and in the area. Rickets Glen State Park, Wineries, Bill's old bike museum is a must, more than just motorcycles. Painting class at the campground is a blast. I recommend signing up for that, good for any age. We brought our 2 teenager grandchildren with us and they had a blast. Loved campfire and hiking. The camp store has everything you need plus souvenirs to bring home. We came from FL and our first trip to PA. Best campground we stayed at. Teresa and David go out of their way to make guests feel at home. They gave great suggestions on the sites to see and were spot on. Will definitely come back, and did not even mind the cool temps on some days and was able to take a dip in the beautiful pool. A nice climate change, beautiful scenery.

I had reservations here for an overnight stay and due to many travel changes, I had to change the date of my stay several times. The woman that worked there was so incredibly flexible with my frequent changes. When I finally arrived and introduced myself I was greeted with a huge hug which made me feel wonderful after a long drive. I had a HUGE pull through site (I was only there 1 night). The campground is located in the beautiful Pennsylvania countryside. The view is amazing. The store at the campground has a little bit of everything you could possibly need (even cold drinks and ice cream). I would HIGHLY recommend Whispering Pines campground and I would absolutely stay there again.

Wow what an amazing experience! Well maintained property. RV sites with full hookups were very spacious. We have been to many where your right on top of your neighbors. Not here. Nice camp store with anything you may have forgot or may need. Owners were very nice and helpful. The pool is very new. Firewood delivered to your site. Playground for the kids. Nice fishing pond on site. It's close proximity to Ricketts Glen State Park( which was awesome )makes this a no brainer. Highly recommend this campground!

My family and I camped at Whispering Pines a couple of weeks ago and we had an amazing time. We were looking for a nice, quiet family campground and we found it here. We stayed in a secluded tent site, enjoyed fishing in the lake and playing in the pool. The kids loved the playground too, as well as the arcade. The staff was very helpful and nice. We will definitely be returning for another visit in the future.

I discovered Whispering Pines about 15 years ago while searching for a better place to tent camp near Ricketts Glen state park, then the state park itself. And what a great discovery it turned out to be. It's only about 30 mins from the park, but is so much nicer of a place to camp. Sites are spaced out well, there is plenty of privacy, the scenery is beautiful, the grounds are very well maintained, and you don't have all the crowds and noise, that the state park has. The camp store is well stocked, and has pretty much any provision you need, and the prices are unbelievably low. Whispering Pines is by far the best, and my favorite place to camp. I just returned from a 5 day stay there, and it was honestly really hard to leave. I would highly recommend this campground to any one who enjoys peaceful serenity, privacy, a beautiful sky at night, quiet mornings, and long days of truly excellent camping. I can't wait until my next trip there!

Very large and level full hookup sites. I was surprised at the distance from our neighbors. Clean place well cared for. Nice bathrooms and clean showers but they require quarters. Game room for kids. New pool. About 15 minutes from Ricketts Glen. Friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back! Mostly seasonal sites but plenty of transient sites.

Great campground. Sites are clean, level and spacious. Pool, game room, playset and even bingo! The camp store was well stocked and they had well seasoned wood at good prices. Get the cart it's the best deal and they'll deliver it to your site. Most tent sites were primitive though a water spicket was nearby. Teresa, the owner, was a joy and very laid back.

My family and I just came home from our first weekend trip to Whispering Pines and I must say it was absolutely everything I could have wished for and more. I have an 8yr old daughter that loved it as well. We went swimming, walked down to the pond which was close to our cabin and even went on a paddle boat. So there’s plenty of things to do 😊 the cabin was immaculate when we got there and the hospitality we received was so welcoming. Peaceful surroundings beautiful all around!!! 😊 thank you guys so much for everything we have such a wonderful weekend we will be back real soon

We had a great time at Whispering Pines. The owners were very accommodating. They have a well stocked little store for all of those little unanticipated needs. Kids had such a great time fishing and swimming. It was great time for our family.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed out and we have been camping for 38 years. You can tell the owners take alot of pride in their campground! Very clean with alot of stuff for kids of all ages to do. Sites are big and well maintained. We will definitely be back!!!

Whispering Pines was a great campground! The RV sites we had were quite spacious and tree-covered. Campground was well-maintained and manicured. Pavilion, pool, and public restrooms were clean. Would definitely return!

We have stayed at many campgrounds and this is one of the best ever.The Owners are very friendly and helpful.The grounds are extremely well maintained and the camping spots are spacious.The campground is within 20 minutes of ricketts glen which was our main reason for vistiing the area.We are so glad we chose this campground and really look forward to a future visit!

My riding club has been there a few times and the owners always go out of their way to accommodate us. Bathhouses are spotless. They even delivered the firewood to our site since we were on motorcycles. Top-notch.

My wife and I stayed here while attending the Bloomsburg fair last September. We were very pleased with the campground and owners. It had rained and the owners allowed us to pick another site Very accommodating and a nice camp store.

Been camping here for several years, absolutely the best private campground in Pa., owners always helpful and will do what ever they can to make your stay enjoyable. No crazy weekender crowds drinking and cursing, just fine people having fun and camping in the great outdoors.

Clean clean clean. Friendly and welcoming!! We showed up unannounced and they were so nice!! Will be back. Pond was beautiful. Store was big. Pool looked nice but we did not swim. Cabin was wonderful!
