Tacocat Cantina

We loved this place, such unique and tasty Mexican food and great portion size. When we went here, we were super hungry and ordered the smothered burrito, one taco and one enchilada (with stewed garbanzo beans and braised purple cabbage), quesadilla crunchwrap and rice bowl with beans. The braised purple cabbage was so good, we were told that the restaurant had run out of it but when we requested they ensured that we got one taco with the cabbage. Do try the sauces that they have, all three of them are super spicy! Parking is available behind the building. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant!

1st off Abby the sweetheart serving me deserves a raise for how well she does. I got waited on hand and foot after a long day on the road by her and was made to feel extra welcome and relaxed during my visit. Drinks and food were spot on. Abby didn't skip a beat getting to me and all her other tables around me. 10/10 will be back

My family of 4 was on our way up to ski in Stowe. This was our dinner stop and it was perfect. Quick, delicious and the owner was super friendly! But most importantly the food was amazing!!

Been eating their food since back when they had food truck. Just delicious food. Even my husband liked it. I've dined in and gotten take out.

I'd love to post a picture of the food, but it was so good I hoovered it immediately. A must stop for great Mexican!

I can only review after going here twice, but was very pleased to find that, pretty much, their entire menu is vegetarian with the option of adding meat. I’ve had their taco salad and rice bowl and both of them were very good! The ingredients were fresh and there was lots of natural flavor. I ordered the large of each and found the taco salad to be a good sized portion and the rice bowl slightly smaller. I think the prices are fair and reflect the quality of the ingredients. I would like to see a little less lettuce and maybe things like avocados being included (but I do know they can be expensive). Overall, very pleased with this place, the friendliness of the staff and the great selection!!! Definitely going back!

Not only is the customer service a wonderful experience, the food is phenomenal! I have ordered take-out more than a few times and every experience has exceeded my expectations. The price is more than reasonable considering they support local farms and offer all locally sourced ingredients! If you want cheap, go to taco bell... Amazingly delicious tacos! The flavors are so good, savory, so make sure to add some heat on top if that’s what you are looking for. Get the goat taco, you will not be disappointed. Excited to try the margarita!

Just had my first Tacocat burrito for lunch and it was amazing! Two weeks ago I spent 9 days just south of Playa Del Carmen and the burrito I got at Tacocat blows anything I had in actual Mexico out of the water! Best Mexican in VT in my opinion.

The food here is so yummy! Every time we have been our meals are very fresh and consistently cooked to our liking. Definitely recommend.
