Wooden Barrel Country Store

Order a 16” pizza with 3 toppings, full taste of homemade, handmade and different than any other pizza I ever have, it probably not the best but it is so unique.
Store has lots different items and able to fill all my needs for the day , water, soft drink , beer , snacks, ice cream and free popcorn!!
The jug at the counter is very nice, I guess he is the owner, However I didn’t verify. Place is organized and clean, like this real local experience so much!!

I go to this country store almost daily being that I work right next store to them. They make excellent breakfast sandwiches, delicious cranberry muffins, and sugar donuts. They also have excellent subs and sandwiches, also serve hot chili, mac n cheese - (sells fast) and last but not least 2 kinds of pizza. They have alittle of everything that you need. Check them out!!

Stopped in on the way back from kayaking at Lefferts Ponds. Ordered the gobbler sandwich and could not have been happier. The sandwich was super packed and really good quality sandwich. Also liked fact it represented a true old time country store, especially with fact it was a nice small family business.

The lady was very nice and its a nice little country stote they have a bathroom!! Which is great it is tiny buy does the trick they have a deli and baked goods fishing poles kayak rentals lots of good stuff if your passing through its a great place to stop for snacks.

My husband and I got married at Mountain Top Inn last August. We told all our guests about the Wooden Barrel and they lovedthis place. You can grab a quick snack, a tasty breakfast sandwich, or even a whole platter of sandwiches for the family. The food hit the spot after hiking and kayaking. Every morning, the first person up would drive down and grab breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Perfect way to start the day. The owner and staff are very friendly too.

It's a great store for just about anything a local, camper or vacationer could ask for. Wonderful people and a great feline crew of employees. Five stars all around...

Stopped by to get sandwiches which were gigantic and especially tasty. Big enough for 2 normal people to share and be full. The WiFi hotspot is also appreciated.

I stayed two weeks at the mountain top inn Chittenden and pass by this store almost everyday. It was well stocked. The owners were friendly.
