Wanna Ruf It Campground

What a great campground. Fellow campers we so nice and introduced themselves to you. Ben and Julie were the absolute the best campground owner we have ever met. So nice and helpful. Made sure we were all taken care of and even hung out with us for little while during our fire Saturday night. Great place to Camp. And close to Ricketts Glen falls hike as well as farmers markets. Will stay again.

We LOVE it here! This little gem is a perfect place to stay if you are trying to disconnect from your busy life! Loved watching my kids make life time memories here.
Julie and Ben (Owners) are so amazing, kind people and so are all their regulars! Very family oriented campsite!

Wy wife and I recently stayed here for the evening to spend a day at Rickets Glenn. I am a novice at navigating our pop-up so I am nervous any time I visit a new site I have not been before. We pulled in later in the evening and a very nice couple who are seasonal campers immediately welcomed us. The gentleman who had spent his life driving truck quickly offered to help me with getting my tailer in my spot. Later we met Julie and Ben, the owners, who are extremely hospitable. The rate for our site with both water and electric hook up was VERY reasonable compared to other locations we have stayed. In addition, they offered us the opportunity to keep our pop-up on site while we enjoyed our day at nearby Rickets Glenn and we were welcomed to come back and pick it up later without any additional charge. THANKS SO MUCH again.

This was, hands down, the best camping experience I've ever had! The owners treat you like family, as well as the other campers on the grounds. It's beautiful and peaceful. The next time we get to PA, we'll be going right back to this perfect haven!

We so enjoyed staying at Julie and Ben’s Wanna Ruf It Campground. They were outstanding hosts. They were attentive to all our needs. The grounds were beautiful. The campsite was full but quiet. The bathhouse was clean and homey. Their location is 20 minutes from Ricketts Glenn State Park. Julie suggested we do the waterfall hike at the park. It was excellent. We saw 17 waterfalls. For having booked this campground on the same day as our arrival we quickly learned we found a jewel!

Had a great weekend here with friends. The camp’s host, Julie, and her friends were so generous! All the other campers were really friendly too. PLUS it’s super close Ricketts Glenn and Knoebels Grove.

We absolutely love it here! The owners, Ben and Julie, are so nice and accommodating. They host events with live music at the pavilion for most holidays but keep it quiet in the camping area. They also plan event for the kids like hayrides (pick up and drop off at campsites) movies and bingo. This is a great family friendly campground!

Loved the hospitality that Ben and Julie give you!! They are very friendly and accommodating and make you feel welcome like you're one of the regulars!! It was definitely relaxing to get out of the hussle and bussel of everyday life. Now if you're looking for a swimming pool, play ground and great wifi then this might not be your place, but this gives you a chance to unwind, communicate with everyone, read, play games and make up your own fun with your imagination if you're a young one . We enjoyed it so much we are planning a trip next year there as well with my grandkids cause everyone needs a little mental slow down!! See ya next year 😊

My wife and two sons camped there on the last day of the camping season last weekend after hiking at Ricketts Glen. The owners were very nice and easy to talk to. We pitched our tent at a site surrounded by pleasant trees. The bathrooms were clean. And the wood we bought from them was dry, burned well, and was two sizeable bundles for a fine price. So, we would definitely camp there again!

Ben and Julie are wonderful people and have created a beautiful place to get away. Well kept and always a great fun time. 👍 I highly recommend you check it out and enjoy!

My husband and i were traveling acrossed the state and found this campground! We stayed for 2 nights and it was the best experience! We like staying to ourselves and dont like the chaos at some campgrounds! This place was peaceful and quiet and noone bothered us! The owners are very good friendly people! Would definitely stay here again whenever we are in the area!

Fantastic campground great owners and fellow campers plenty to do holiday cookouts and gatherings at pavilion dj's local band and farmer's market for summer months a really nice place to camp.
