This is, hands down, the best bike shop I have ever been to. The team there is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I purchased my first full suspension mountain bike there just yesterday, and Tony and the team made me feel totally comfortable asking (what I thought) were stupid questions. As a result I feel totally confident and not intimidated about riding my new bike as it is meant to be ridden. Do yourself a favor and visit this shop, you will not be disappointed.

I purchased a bike here recently. I had a really positive experience! Everyone at the store was friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend bringing your bike here for any tune ups etc and I also recommend trying out the demo days for different brands when it’s offered. Thank you all at Alpine Bike Works!

Bought a beautiful Giant mountain bike here. It was mid Covid and and supplies were scarce but they helped my husband find the perfect bike for him. It was the last one that was his size (he is very tall), they let him ride it around the parking lot to see if he liked it, and we went home very happy customers. Great customer service. Thank you!

I just bought my first new mountain bike from Alpine Bike works. I can speak highly enough of the staff and service. I haven’t ridden in a while, Tony and the team happily spent time with me, answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel silly for asking basic questions. I was very impressed that they actually had the bike I was looking for in stock. They spent time with me adjusting the bike and getting everything dialed in. I would recommend this shop for first times or seasoned riders. Even though I live hours away, I would happily return for any maintenance in the future.

This is an easy review to write, I drive 70 miles to get to Alpine bike works even though I have shops around me, I have never not been happy with the service I have received. The staff from the owner Tony, Victoria, and all of the techs have bent over backwards to handle my issues including giving me a bike to ride when they couldn't get a warranty part for my new bike.
I work in the car business and understand how difficult it is to make everyone happy these guys go out of there way to do all they can!

I was hesitant to make a high end bike purchase online as I live in west coast. However, not only was Tony's pricing competitive, he was absolute professional and made online purchasing experience flawless by answering many questions in a timely manner. Very excited to check out the new bike!

I rented a couple of downhill bikes, Santa Cruz V10's, and the owner took the time not only to set up the front suspension air pressure(which most rental places do) but he proceeded to set up rebound and compression on both front and rear, check/adjust tire pressure, etc. Much more than the kids at the rental shop at the mountain.

Very friendly, experienced, helpful.

These guys are Awesome!! We showed up 90 minutes prior to closing in desperate need for help with a brake problem on a TT bike, which needed to be fixed prior to stage 3 of the KSR the next morning. The mechanic (didn’t get his name) was able to fix the campagnolo issue in time and saved the day!

I had last minute bike maintenance issues before going to ride the downhill trails at Killington, so I decided to demo one at Alpine Bike Works instead. The selection and quality of bikes to rent here is outstanding. I got to ride an incredible high-end bike at a lower cost than more run-of-the-mill options elsewhere around Killington. I would never have considered spending $8k on an enduro/downhill bike before, but after ripping down the mountain on one of theirs, it's a major temptation.

Staff was helpful, rental options are unbeatable, plus helmet and pad rentals that are reasonable. Location just down the road from Killington makes this a no-brainer option if you're looking to demo a specific bike vs. getting whatever's available at the resort.

Just recently within the past 3 weeks I purchased my 2018 Ibis Ripmo from Alpine Bike Works. These bikes are next to impossible to find and the staff at Alpine Bike Works knew I was in the market for one.
Luckily they happened to help me get one in the color and exact build kit I wanted with no extra upselling of stuff I didn’t want or need.
Mind you I would still be waiting for this bike if I did business elsewhere.
The staff here was super helpful and informative the whole experience.
They even helped with shipping the bike to me seeing as how I was over an hour away.

Tony was awesome to work with when ordering my Ibis frame. He was quick to communicate with me (I’m out of state in Georgia) and the product shipped super fast. I had the package within 2 business days via Fedex. Highly recommended.

Purchased a pre owned bike from them through a third party website. The guys I dealt with at the shop when I called were very helpful and friendly. The bike was shipped in a timely manner, as quoted. I received the bike as expected, basically brand new, slightly used. I experienced 0 issues with Alpine Bike Works and am happy I did business with them. They will definitely continue to be a resource of mine. Great Job guys!
