From the gift shop to the cafe to the train ride, the people were welcoming and answered questions. We had a large group with a lot of chatting, so we missed some of the announcements. It was a beautiful fall ride. We saw a lot of this areas history. It was memorable!

First experience riding the rails and I enjoyed it tremendously! Great group of people on the trip. Very nice scenery and would recommend it to anyone at any age.

We stayed at the Caboose Motel and took the murder mystery train ride. Reasonable package deal and the catered meal and train station staff were so welcoming.

It was closed but that wasn’t gonna stop me from taking a bunch of photos and videos, and half their brochure’s 😅

Slow moving train ride thru Oil Creek area where there the race for oil started.

Make sure you spend the money for first class, the car is air conditioned and the seats are so much better.

Experienced a down tree and the crew had to remove.

I love this train ride. Always beautiful scenery and the best staff that makes the experience unforgettable. This was my 1st time in the 1st class car, and the seats were so comfortable.

The place was great the train ride was fun, and the activity, like playing a pedal piano inside, was great 👍 would recommend for younger age children and of course flamingo man 👨

Was a beautiful trip into the past. We arrived early so we were able to look around the gift shop. We also saw a 21 Caboose Motel which was across from the train station. Well worth the trip and cost.

We had a great time and learn a lot on the trip. The kids loved the open caboose and spent most of the trip there. We seen multiple blue heron, different types of ducks, red tail hawk and deer. At the halfway point we got to see them switch everything around and grab ice cream! The snacks on the train were very reasonably priced and keep my 3 hungry boys content. We loved mailing out the post card right on the train!

We stopped so my grandsons could go inside the non-working car. With all the levers, dials, and buttons it was a hit! I think they were just leaving on one of the Murder Mystery Dinner rides and it was sold out as usual. If you get the chance, come check this out!

It's a very calming ride that must recreate the time of ol'. The day I rode, they served various locally made wines. I don't drink but from what I gathered, they were fantastic! I recommend the trip

Great experience! Took advantage of First Class, has A/C & very comfortable seating that can even be repositioned so that a group of 4 can sit facing each other. Was able to go out to end of train to experience outdoor views. Dog friendly. Snack car & bathrooms on train. Also have huge gift shop & history info at Depot.

My wife and I did the murder mystery ride on September 18. We were served a great buffet and introduced to the cast with the opening scenes of the mystery. We then bordered the train. There was plenty of room to spread out and we had a great seat by a few open windows. (It was hot) The cast continues to play out the act as we traveled just about 1.5 hours. Even though they come to the individual cars to enact the next scene, there is plenty of time to just enjoy the ride and relax. We then stopped at a station to stretch our legs, get ice cream and take bathroom breaks, getting back on the train for the return trip. As it gets dark the interior train lights come on and the comfortable rocking and sounds of the car on the tracks is soothing and peaceful. The cast interacted with us on the return trip as well, and it was great fun! At the station we enjoyed coffee and cheesecake as the final scenes and conclusions are made. All in all, well worth the ticket cost, lots of fun, great people, good food, and an enjoyable evening. Would certainly do it again.

It was a nice ride I think they should have something to eat like hot dogs or walking tacos nothing you need silverware for Hot dogs you you have a roller they are cheap and all you would need is napkins, ketup, mustard not on train just inside I would like to I seen lots of McDonald's bags. Let's support the railroad not a billion dollars cooperation. I am sure the railroad can use the money. Overall the trip was great will be doing more of them. Thanks to all that worked

Husband and I took the train ride in June and stayed in the Caboose Motel next door. We just happened upon the weekend with a steam engine pulling the cars, and were so pleased with the sights and sounds and smells of coal burning on our trip. Very enjoyable and the train staff was amazing--so kind and attentive. They made us feel so welcome! I also would have wished for more history narrated, but it was still wonderful. Thanks to the local fire department who met the train to put on water....those members, and all fire departments, deserve our gratitude and help in every way we can.

I had called ahead to reserve a caboose motel room and mentioned we were married 20 years that week June 20th and wanted to surprise my husband with a stay in a caboose. Well, they surprised us both with a small iced bucket, 2 plastic champagne glasses, 2 yummy grape juices and a lovely anniversary card! How thoughtful for that caring, friendly staff to do so! It was great with one exception and I hate to say it, but the bed mattress was the most hard and uncomfortable I've ever been on. I tossed and turned and ended up not sleeping 90% of the night because of it. I think the historical society runs the motel, so I understand if they don't have funds for decent mattresses, but we'd certainly stay again if we knew they were replaced with comfortable ones. With all else being so wonderful, I forgive that.
Overall, don't pass up the Titusville Train and especially the very informative and interesting museum in the train station! If staying in the motel, know they are wonderful people, but bring a thick mattress-topper.

Very organized as boarding & exiting the train went smoothly. Our guide was full of information and seemed to love his job. You can also switch the seats from forward facing to backwards facing which is convenient for the trip back to the station. I sat in the coach seating which is like a bus seat, the windows are nice and big to provide a nice view. They have food and drinks on the train but you can also bring your own. They do have toilets on each car which I believe are like a port a potty but they also stop once where you can get off and use the restroom.

What a perfect day we had here! Not only was it fun to ride the train through the incredibly scenic park but all of the staff members were very friendly and it was a joy talking to them.
