Stoners On the Square

Fun little tavern, with excellent service! My daughter got the spaghetti, which was very flavorful and the meatball was delicious. The cheese could have been a little more melted, but a huge portion for kids menu. My son got the grilled cheese which was a little plain but he still enjoyed it. My wife got a delicious burger, with a tomato jam which was a nice addition. For myself, If there’s a Rueben at a new restaurant, I always try it- this particular Reuben ranks a solid 8.5/10. The rye bread was toasted perfectly giving way to a delicious dressing and thinly sliced corn beef. The beers were good, but definitely recommend taste testing- a Golden stout will not taste like a regular stout. The ales may have a sweet sugary aroma. Overall, a great experience and worth a stop!

We had a meeting across the street and decided to eat here on a whim. It was a great experience. They had homemade spaghetti as a special. It was delicious with 2 large meatballs and garlic bread. We also had a chicken Caesar wrap with homemade chips. First rate. As a huge surprise their coffee was delicious (our server made it fresh for us 💙). Will definitely go back.

Lovely place with delicious food. Our party enjoyed prime rib and butter poached cod, and both were delicious. We did make a reservation, as a local told us we should. We were there pretty early (5 p.m.), though, on a Saturday, and might not have actually needed one at that time. The place filled up pretty quickly after that, though.

Excellent atmosphere fantastic food great service what more could you want? My server Brooke was very attentive. This is an exceptional pub. I had the muscles and the fish and chips... delish! I will be back!!!

Stoners on the Square is the perfect pub! It has exactly the atmosphere you expect for a quick sit down meal and maybe some adult beverages. The draught list was very extensive. The music was enjoyable, and not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. Really a nice spot to relax. Check out their membership options, and get your own mug!

We found this place by accident since we are not from the area. We came with two youg kids and although this place is a pub the back has a nice family sitting area. The food was really good. I had the prime rib which is a Saturday special. My wife had crab cakes and kids things off the kids menu. Everyone really enjoyed the food. I got a few things from the bar the bartender was pleasant and gave good recommendations. If we are ever in the area we will defenitley stop in.

My girlfriend and I wanted to celebrate Christmas in your lovely town. Got here too early to check in at the B&B. Found Stoners on the Square. Enjoyed the brunch offered on Sunday the 24th. The Eggs Benedict was very good. My girlfriend enjoyed the BLT minus the egg. The Chocolate Bomb dessert with icecream was phenomenal.
My girlfriend loved the Lemon Cake. Once again, thank you. We had a great time at your tavern.

Met here for lunch yesterday with two other classmates from The Academy, class of '69....as in 1869.
I had the basic burger with fries -
one of the best burgers ever and the fries were perfect as well. Another had a salad with grilled chicken which was fine. And lastly, Jubal, the old headmaster's beloved dog (yes, this was his nickname given by an uppity underclassmen from Puerto Rico, by the name of Sisi Girola, had the French Dip Panini which was excellent as well. The only complaint was that the "heat" in the room could have been a bit warmer as my long underwear wasn't sufficient.
Overall, a great, reasonably priced establishment with friendly staff. Almost forgot that the restroom was clean and warm.... next time I'll eat there.

Just had lunch today at Stoners on the Square… French onion soup and pretzel very buttery and yummy cheese dip!! I highly recommend it!!🤗🤗🤗🤗 Cozy atmosphere and the staff very friendly and helpful! Worth the trip!

Had lunch there for the 1st time and it was delicious! I had the prime rib panini and it was so good! Wasn't too busy even though it was noon. We were quickly waited on and didn't have to wait long for our food. Highly recommend to pretzels as an appetizers

Good dinner. The flat iron was lovely, the crab cakes and prime rib were also great.

First time here was for my birthday last Friday and boy was this a treat. We had the Prime Rib soecial with mashed potatoes and asparagus and let me tell you, every bite was a delight! It definitely was a mouth watering experience with friendly staff and great atmosphere. We haven't had prime rib this good in years! Highly recommend to anyone passing by. Do yourself a favor and stop here for an awesome dining experience!

Stopped in at Stoners last night. Lives in the area for a while now and decided to try something new. It was fantastic! The food was so good and the atmosphere, even better. Brooke served us and was very observant. She was friendly, informative, and kind. We will be back.

Enjoyed our visit thoroughly! This is such a cozy little spot! The fireplace is such a sweet touch. We got sandwiches, burgers, fish and chips, and chicken tenders. All was properly prepared and enjoyable. Great selection of beers on tap. Service was great! Dessert was fabulous...we got chocolate lava cake and peanut butter pie.

Great service. Good beer selection. Ski resort was closed so it was quiet/slow which was fine w us. Waitress said usually its pretty busy on weekends. Pierogies were really good as was the burger. Waitress was attentive and kind, giving local suggestions and tips when she found out we were not local.

Our experience was a good one. After some discussion (all positive), with our waitress, she said she was new. Only working there for 3 days but we would have never known that, and we told her that. She was a good.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Not only delicious, but great portion size.
Our drinks were strong (the way I prefer it) and very good. My wife and I have no complaints and we're both very satisfied.

Where do I start? We had Pierogis, Crab cake, French Onion Soup and the Prime Rib Panini all of which were delicious!

Brooke took great care of us! We look forward to our next visit!
