Little Dipper

We've driven by here lots of times.Never thought to stop in.So glad we did.Cute little diner.Very polite waitstaff. Lots of times I order different things to try and I'm left disappointed not today.The chicken bacon ranch melt is something I'll definitely be having again.

Excellent service excellent food excellent atmosphere. We had a great waitress food was marvelous tasty and homemade even the mashed potatoes homemade not boxed. Waitress was friendly and place and the bathroom is immaculate

I've been to this diner many times and I've always had a joyous experience. The waitresses are so nice/polite and always make me feel welcomed.

The food itself is such good quality for such a good price! You can easily get away with each person eating for only under $10 here.

Overall this is one of my favorite places to grab a bite at. I especially recommend their BLT sandwiches. Very delicious and always seem to have the fresh ingredients. <3

Was pleasantly surprised to find this little "diamond in the country." Had looked at another restaurant but they were closed on Mondays, thankful they were as we found the Little Dipper. Mozzarella appetizer was thick and tasty. I had a club sandwich which came as expected tasted good. My wife had fried chicken and was quite pleased, chicken wasn't dried and seasoned well. Only disappointment was they didn't have chocolate marshmallow ice cream for dessert. But the waitress did a fantastic job and had a wonderful personality. Am sure we'll be back the next time we are in Greencastle. Highly recommended!!

We passed this place after leaving Gettysburg, and wow, was it first of all VERY affordable and pretty good. We got deluxe burgers, applesauce, and cottage cheese. Everything comes a la carte, but who cares cuz a burger was like $3. They also have ice cream and milkshakea. Nice staff. Cozy. Thanks, Little Dipper!

A nice little 50's style diner between Chambersburg and St. Thomas, the Little Dipper always hits the spot. I had their 2 bacon cheeseburger basket with fries. Topped it off with some ice cream. Service was great, our waitress was friendly and prompt. And it's not too hard on the budget either.

We got there shortly before closing and did not feel rushed at all. My wife, kids, and I really enjoyed our food. I got liver and onions which was delicious. The prices are excellent. You can get two great burgers and fries for 10 dollars! Staff was friendly. I ran into the fellow that cooked my liver and told him it was cooked perfect, he said "I don't know how you eat that stuff but you're welcome". Lol! Going to come back here for sure.

Fantastic food the service was great and the ladies that work there are very sweet and always have a great smile and makes you feel like family.

This place is awesome! Great food and excellent service...I look for local regulars in a little restaurant like this and person after person seemed to be a regulars! Good luck picking from that menu it all looks so good and tastes even better! Staff is more than willing to help you out and make your visit one to remember!

This place was really cute. The food was great and everyone was really nice. The prices were fantastic. They were very patient with our four kids and they had a great ice cream flavor selection! Highly recommend!

The food and service was amazing! Never coming here before, we didn’t know they closed at 7:30 on Sunday, we showed up at 7:15, and they didn’t rush us at all! Loved this place, and if we lived closer we’d come back a lot sooner!

We had Sunday lunch with my daughter and her family, and absolutely loved the food, the service and the atmosphere!!
We didn't feel rushed, although I found out when leaving, that they actually close a little earlier on Sundays. Quite the contrary, our waitress was beyond patient and helpful with our 2 young grandchildren and with our indecisiveness over what menu items to chose.
Everything, and seriously, everything, was delicious and perfectly cooked and had that down-home flare, that can seemingly, only be found, in a small town diner.
Do yourself and your family a favor, and treat them to a meal that will leave them full and happy, when they leave.

What a great place to eat! Very pleasant experience every time. You get a warm welcome when you walk in the door. All the staff has great personalities and are always are uplifting. The quality of the food is excellent and they have a a lot of different choices to choose from. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We were driving through Rt 30 from Pittsburg to Philly and love to stop at local restaurants. Little Dipper offers standard diner fare, good and fast! Our waitress was excellent. The food was served fast, and it was hot! I would totally go there again. Wish I lived closer and could go regularly.

Excellent little place sausage gravey is on point!

Burgers are great!! Lots of bang for the buck.
