Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chambersburg, an IHG Hotel

For the best Holiday Inn Expresses that I've ever stayed at, the rooms are absolutely massive for what they are a decent price. This is our second stay here in a year traveling back and forth between New York and North Carolina it's our halfway point. Easy on and easy off the highway with gas station Starbucks and other fast food within minutes. If you can request a room on the opposite side of the building from the parking lot for a pretty breathtaking view over the valley. We've never afforded ourselves the extra time to use any of the amenities like the gym or pool, but in passing they seem like they're well maintained. Every room is also equipped with multiple USB outlets and charging stations for phones so no need to bring your power brake just a cord.

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff was very helpful for the 2-day stay.
The only problem I had was the smell of pot

Wonderful service, clean & spacious room. Breakfast options were different every morning and very good. Front deck staff very friendly & helpful.

Had a slight hiccup with our first room but Melanie took care of us right away and the rest of our stay was perfect. Clean room, nice shower and bed, decent breakfast. We will definitely stay here again thanks to Melanie and her wonderful customer service!!

Our house had caught on fire and now we can't stay there until it is repaired. We have none of our stuff. Everything is up in the air for us and our family and school starts in less than a week. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. They were understanding and very caring. They even tried to find discounts because of the situation knowing that every dollar helps. The girl that checked us in had even gave us names of places that might help with our situation and needs. The room was very clean. They have Dove soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and things in the shower to use if you don't have anything to use. The breakfast is really good. The staff is very friendly. She was wonderful and we will go back if we ever need too. If you need to stay in the area, this hotel is wonderful. I would recommend this to my grandmother if she were still here.

The house keeping staff is outstanding, you couldn’t find staff that good in Las Vegas. Always accommodating, made sure I had everything fresh and showcased excellent displays of hospitality. The housekeepers deserve a substantial raise. Oh and great breakfast by the way my personal favorite is the biscuits and gravy🤘🏼

It was late night when I walked in. All I needed to do was use the restroom and they were more than accommodating to allow me to use the facilities. Very clean and very comfortable place to visit.

Loved our stay! Very good service at front desk, our room was super clean and had a comfortable bed, our room was at the front of the hotel so the opposite side of the highway so we didn't hear it at all! We liked that the pool was open late and we very much enjoyed the breakfast selection! I am vegetarian and usually have a hard time eating a full breakfast but they had plenty of things for me ! Thank you for your good service 🙏

This was an excellent place to stop and stay. We spent a few days to do a college visit and it was worth the cost, through hotels.com. Majority of the staff were extremity niceand helpful. The facilities were extremely clean and very well sanitized. Our room was perfect for a family of six.

This was the Best holiday inn Express I have stayed at in a while. The staff was friendly, and efficient! The rooms are large and Clean! We were tired and needed sleep . The bed was New and Sooo comfy with Tons of pillows. Breakfast was fresh and hot and kept stocked. It was aVery nice hotel for a good price. Will plan on stopping back here on the next trip.

Stopped here as we were driving through from TN to Boston. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful. They did an excellent job of accommodating my family.

It is located close to several restaurants, including an Arby's that shares the parking lot, so we were able to walk over and eat supper.

Right off the interstate, relatively easy to get in and out and back on the road.

Free breakfast was nice. Selection was pretty good for a free continental breakfast - egg white omelets, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruit, muffins, and some cereals. Milk, coffee, and juices to drink.

We enjoyed our stay. It wasn't very expensive per night, we enjoyed free wifi and breakfast. The pool was really nice too, anytime you can take a quick swim in a heated pool, it just makes your stay a little more relaxed and fun.

Our stay was great. The only drawback was the modified breakfast. During previous stays it was one of the best. This stay only heatable breakfast sandwiches and cold items were available

Amazing stay!! I had a room booked and called to see if I could check in early and the front desk associate was SO kind, helpful, and welcoming. Our room was perfect - very spacious and very clean! We felt right at home - comfortable beds, tv, etc. Very convenient location, next to the freeway, restaurants, and a short drive to Starbucks (there is a Keurig in the room though!). Highly highly recommend staying here!

Our stay was very good. Room clean and in good condition. The coffee maker did not work. I reported to front desk on big deal. Lots of coffee in lobby. Breakfast was good orange tasted a little different can't explain. Will stay there again .

This was the best hotel in the area. The pool was warm like a hot tub! The beds were AMAZING! They had firm pillows in the back and soft in the front. I only stayed there one night but it was probably the best night I ever had at a hotel!!

We had a great time and liked it so much we stayed two nights! I'm "super" picky and the lobby, rooms, bathroom and room corners were practically spotless. The people were very nice and helpful. Laken printed out a few must sees in Gettysburg and put them in travel order for us. She was very kind and we would come back just to see her! We will definitely be back!

We participate in softball tournaments in this area, and have stayed in multiple places over the years. I wish we found this hotel sooner. Desk was friendly, rooms were clean and spacious, beds were comfortable. Room temperature control worked nicely to maintain even room temperature. Nice sized fridge. Very convenient location- there's a Starbucks within walking distance, Dunkin right down the road, Sheetz right down the road. Didn't use the breakfast or pool, but we typically don't use those amenities anyway. Highly recommend for softball teams: Ms Laken arranged a block of rooms for our team--it's a common practice-- but I mention it bc these prices were remarkably discounted as compared with the blocks offered by other hotels. Will definitely return.

Our stay was very nice! We had no issues other than running out of hot water, but they fixed that and even let us leave a little later than when we would have typically needed to so we could take warm showers. The breakfast was also very well maintained

This place was just lovely. Kathy at the front desk was sweet and helpful as can be, the rooms were huge and clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, TVs have a million channels (though Netflix option would have been nice).
10/10 would recommend.
