30 West Family Restaurant

This place will surprise you. From the outside it doesn't look like much. Actually the inside isn't too impressive either but most diners are like that. However, the menu had a lot of good options. Also the prices were very good for post covid. We had a very large party since it was at work get together and our two servers did great. I roll the dice and got the New York strip steak. Honestly, it wasn't the best, but everybody else said that they got was great. My wife got the club and it was very good and another person got the turkey sandwich with gravy. And a couple people who got the burgers said they were also good. The other issue was the seats way out did the number of parking spaces so you might have trouble finding a place to park if they're busy. Sorry I forgot to grab pictures of the menu. But we will most likely go back at some point so I'll add that later.

Very delicious diner. Definitely recommend. I got the stuffed chicken breast with mac and cheese and applesauce which came with hand dipped Hershey's ice cream. It was amazing. Prices are very good and you get just enough food till fill you up without stuffing you. This place was very busy, almost every seat was filled the entire time we were there.

The food was excellent. Our server Summer went beyond our expectations. This was our first time there, it will not be our last.

The shrimp basket is good and plentiful. My husband had the prime rib dinner and was very pleased with it. Their French fries are so good!

Hometown vibes with great service and great food. Stopped in on a Sunday for our lunch....church crowd was out in force we were the youngest folks there by a long shot....and I'm old.
But it was quick and good portion as well. Not only am I old, but I'm big boned too....I eat alot, but only if it's good...and it was !!!

Always good food at a very reasonable price. More menu items than a lot of places.

On a recent motorcycle trip through the States, we stumbled upon this gem just east of Chambersburg, PA. When possible, I seek out and eat at local family restaurant to enjoy local fare and ambiance. The name caught my attention with Family boldly emblazoned on the sign. One look at the parking lot said that this was a place to go, it was packed.

Our server, I believe her name is Adriana, greated us and asked how are day was. Then she asked us what we would like to drink. Well, I love bubbly water and typically ask for "Club Soda". I forget that when eating at restaurants far away from Canada, our colloquial names are often not the locals and Club Soda was one of those words. When I described what club soda was, I found an entire new treat; "Button Water," that's the bubbly water you get when you push the button on the soda machine. So from now on, I will be asking for Button Water, the specialty of 30 West Family Restaurant.

Our served was terrific with us. I love bacon and eggs and home fries and I can tell you that there are some places that can't make such a simple meal. This sure was not one of them. Not only very good food, but healthy helping of bacon and potatoes. And, if you like pancakes -huge tasty and great price. If this place was closer (less than 600KM trip, this would be my go-to place.

This was my first visit here and I must say that I was really happy with the visit. The staff that I encountered was very friendly and polite. The service was great as well. The food was really good, my chicken breast was nice and juicy. The atmosphere is very family oriented. I took notice to alot of the patrons are normals in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back to try some of the other food on the menu.

So this diner became an immediate favorite after tonight. Me and my wife just moved into our house and haven't gotten the stove yet and we're looking for someplace to eat at 730pm.. a couple places had their doors closed at 730! 30 West did not! AND they welcomed us very warmly and without any attitude even though they close at 8pm and we walked in and sat down at 741pm. Food and service was great! The pasta with meat sauce is fantastic! We just found a regular spot for us!

Absolutely love this place. Everyone is so kind n they have pleasant attitudes. The food is great n the prices are awesome. Ice been there several times within the last couple weeks n every time I left with to go box. The portions are huge. The beef pot pie is amazing. And I brought enough home that I ate on that for 2 days.
