Gipe's Transmission Service

I pulled the transmission of my 1999 Dakota and Aaron was able to work it into his schedule in under two weeks. After installation, I had a rattle and Aaron took it in the next day and told me what I had to correct...exhaust against frame, I had put the new trans mount on wrong, and fan clutch had some play...not a transmission issue...corrections made and truck is running great and the transmission is shifting smooth, especially when put into reverse when it made a noticeable clunk previously, not anymore.

Had the work done on time and on budget. Good people to deal with.

These guys always get me fixed up. They are really easy to deal with. I would recommend them every time.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

Typical shady car "repair" shop- Find a transmission shop out of town with good reviews. "Steve" said they might be able to fix my problem, so I agreed to let them do the work. Two days later he came back with, "we cant fix it now" and inflated the original worst-case scenario cost (I was able to find the part they needed for $1K LESS) and me being stuck on the hook with a ton of labor hours (they charge $80/hour btw). Then he wanted to argue with me that they needed to spend a bunch more hours putting back together the part they said they could fix!!!! I was put in the position of paying a buttload of labor or a buttload of labor plus a grossly-inflated part that I could save 50% by buying myself (and this was not a cheap part).

Not to mention I had to spend $200 on a new battery- it was FINE when i went in but was 100% shot when I got the car back.

These clowns should be happy I am not filing a complaint to have them cover the cost of my new battery I suddenly needed after getting my car back.

I am out close to $1000 to pay for their incompetence/whatever bull**** con they are running, the issue was not resolved, and all I got was a bad taste in my mouth from dealing with this "business"

I would give negative stars if this were possible. One star is waaaaay too high for these snakes.
