John King Roofing & Siding

I am a repeat customer as recently as August 2020. I originally contracted with John King Roofing to replace all of my siding, roofing, facia and gutters as part of a major storm repair project several years ago. This project included a major upgrade in materials and needed improvements to bring the original home builder's lack of quality up to current code. I recommend JKR without any hesitation and they continue to be my go to contractor for all my siding and roofing repairs. Dependable, quality service, ethical and honest fair pricing.

John & his crew were great. They kept in contact to keep us informed despite their busy workload. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to fit us in as well as how fast our roof was put on. We have a very old house and I knew it could present some challenges but they were able to do it in just 2 days. Everything looks great & no more leaks! Happy we were able to be done before winter hit. He was upfront with us from the beginning & we are happy with the look of our new roof.

I used John King on two occasions. First was after a bad wind storm and I lost shingles off my roof. John and his crew made the repair quickly before I had any water damage. I was very pleased with the response time and service.

The second time I used John he installed a new metal roof for me. In addition I had him do some chimney work for myself and my neighbor. Johns crew was courteous, helpful, and the quality was excellent.

I can't say enough about John King Roofing. Super responsive, fair price, and a perfect job. They redid my roof after a previous "roofer" installed it all wrong. John explained what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. John's siding guy was very polite and concise when residing my house. Flashing, gutters, and soffit were all installed perfectly. He also communicated with me throughout the whole process making sure we were on the same page with vision and expectations. There is a lot of contractors out there that don't respond, cut corners, assume they know what you want, and try to charge an outrageous price with extras tacked on at the end. John is none of these things. I have dabled in different forms of construction over the years and I know quality work when I see it and John does quality work.

We were very pleased with the quick response and professionalism of John. He told us exactly what we needed and the best way to go about replacing our roof. We spoke to other roofers who just wanted to "band aid" the problem. John gave us his professional opinion and he was right on. We now have a beautiful roof that was done correctly and looks beautiful. Very professional, great crew, and very knowledgeable, would definitely recommend to others.

I called John King Roofing today to get roof repair work done. I needed immediate ridge cap repairs done where there the shingles had blown off in a storm. He was so accommodating and was able to come the same day and made the repair. He arrived an hour after I called, finished the repair in 30 mins and even took a picture of the repaired work while on the roof, so I could see the work. I have never had such fast and customer focused response before. If I ever need roofing help again - I will definitely be calling him! Highly recommend John King Roofing!

I've driven by this business in St. Thomas for years, and recently needed a new roof and siding on my detached garage, so I called and arranged an estimate. He was able to order shingles quickly and even matched the siding on our house to the new siding for the garage. Installation was prompt and professional, and they worked diligently until the job was done. They also cleaned up the job site. I am very satisfied with the work and l would recommend this business to anyone looking for fast and professional roofing or siding installation!

Installed shingle roof on small barn and a metal roof on back porch. Very professional and courteous. Completed both jobs in one day as promised. Both roofs look wonderful! Did an excellent job cleaning up. No extra charges even though the replaced some plywood. These guys knew what they were doing. Very pleased.

John was great! He showed up sooner than expected (first thing in the morning) and knocked out the job. He was polite, professional, and helpful in pointing out some things that were going on with my roof aside from the job I called him for. I would definitely recommend using him and will be calling him again if any more roof related issues pop up.

John and his crew did a wonderful job. He took pictures of what was being done at chimney and vent on roof and all and came down the ladder to show us since we couldn't see from ground.When finished they cleaned everything . Did an excellent job. Would recommend.

I was very pleased with how quick they were to get back and did not fool around. They did an amazing job tearing off old roofing and taking it down to the base even replacing the rotten wood and installing new roofing. They were on time and got the job done the right way and in a timely fashion, highly recommended.

Had Siding replaced after hail damage. Crew was professional, friendly and worked in a timely manner. If I had a question they were very knowledgeable and eager to answer. Good bunch of guys who work very hard. Highly recommend!

John was right there with an estimate finished the job in half the time. He communicated in a professional manner . Where as other company's wouldn't even return calls . His estimate was held to with no hidden fees or add on at the end. Highly advise call jk roofing.

If you're in need of prompt, courteous and professional grade service with very reasonable pricing, I recommend John King Roofing!!! Not knowing who to call for a roof leak on a newer home, I did a quick Google search for my area. John King was listed as 5-Star, so I decided to give his company a call. I left a message and within 30 minutes received a call back, and within just a few hours he was at my door to investigate the problem. Sadly John informed me that my "30-year" shingles have only lasted 21-years. Nails have popped out, shingles have cracked and begun to roll, the peak ridge vents were never installed properly (by the original home builder-NOT by John King) all of which were problematic. John was extremely professional, informative, and explained how shingles deteriorate over time given weather conditions despite the '30-year guarantee.' He took the time to answer all my questions. And, he returned the following day to do the necessary small repairs despite the frigid 20 degree temps. Since the repair we've had about 3 snows (one of which was 18 inches that stayed on the roof many days). So far all is well at about 2.5 weeks later. When I decide to bite the bullet and replace the entire roof, I'll more than likely be calling John King Roofing. Thanks John for the 5-star service!

Quick response to my phone call. Was able to get out and replace numerous missing shingles in a timely manner. Very please with Mr. King. Would definitely use his services again.
