Lake Raystown Resort Marina

The Raystown Marina was amazing. A PSA they do not serve alcohol, it wasnt a deal breaker but was a little surprising. I however honestly had one of the best burgers I've ever had and everyone loved their food. The menu had a lot of delicious sounding food i wanted to eat all of it. The prices are reasonable for the location and the serving sizes were decent. We stopped here while visiting to check out the resort for my wedding venue and we will definitely be back to eat next year when we return. My only complaint is the service between getting seated and served was quite slow for there not being many people there but it could have been a short handed day. They even had a menu for our dog which was adorable.

I love cooking and I love good food. When I go out to eat, I hope to get something that’s the same, if not better, than what I can make at home. Both meals we had at the marina during our weekend stay were fantastic and cooked to our liking!!!

I had the deck burger + chips and the beet salad with steak; my husband had wings + fries and tacos. Everything was done just right and our service was lovely. The fresh brewed iced tea that they serve is delicious. We brought beer with us, others brought wine - so BYOB which is also nice!!

The value for what you pay and quality of the food is more than reasonable.

Very relaxing 1 hour cruise.

Took a ride on the Proud Mary. It was fun. Then came back for a delicious meal.

Got a transient slip. Simple process to secure rental but it was early May. Staff is friendly and there is a store to get simple needs including some bait. Gas is easily available too for normal marine prices.

This is not a restaurant but a camping ground. The most amazing place we found to camp with young kids. Serene, peaceful, clean and so accessible. We plan to visit each year.

Absolutely a delightful hearty meal. Such creativity in every dish. Unexpected in such a rural area. Had the unbelievable meatloaf sandwich between 2 grilled cheeses. Needless to say it fed us for 2 days! The gourmet burgers were the bomb too! Service was very friendly and the deck was lovely. Love the pet menu!

Had a BLAST BOATING with Family - Friends.( my Boyfriends family) was a GREAT TIME !!! Already talking about doing it AGAIN NEXT YEAR ❤!!!

Took a boat ride on the Proud Mary.
Nice & easy-scenic-also educational! Pre-recorded mini history lesson played thru speakers for bout 1/2 of the 1 hour 45 minute boat ride.
Trekked thru bout 5 miles of the 28/29 mile Raystown Lake.
Something to do & inexpensive ($12.95 person).
We sat on top deck to enjoy the sun while riding, but there is a deck down below if you need shade.
My parents thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon ride on the Proud Mary.
Learned they also do weekend dinner cruises & Sun morning breakfast cruises.
We were a bit early for the 2:15 departure, so we got BestWay Pizza at the dock to hold us over til dinner.

We had a wonderful dinner at the marina yesterday. the steak salad was outstanding! Our server Brenden was great! can’t wait to go back.

We rented the boat here all three times when we stayed at the lake raystown resort. You can either rent it for full day(9 to 5) or half day(12 to 5). The boat comes with the Tube that you can use it. You will have to pay the rental fees before and fuel based on usage when you return the boat. If you don't have boating license, then you are required to watch a 20min video and the sign up process will take another 10min. Plan accordingly.

I've been coming to the Resort Marina Restaurant for over 25 years. The chef that has been there for the last 5 plus years is amazing and has created great dishes, especially for the area.

One thing to note is that alcohol isn't served as the restaurant is in a dry township and they aren't permitted to sell alcoholic beverages.

We absolutely loved renting a fun boat pontoon and 2 jet skis from Raystown Marina. They are so accommodating during the rental process. They give you all the life jackets you need, plus a tube and water skis. We had 11 people and we fit very comfortably. It rained he day we picked to go out, and they let us switch our days with no charge and no problem. Luckily there was a boat available. The fun boat with the top deck and slide is the way to go. The kids had a blast.

We got lucky tonight with a very pleasant server. He was personable and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the appetizer called short ribs with fries and gravy. Fish dinner was also delicious.

Great vacation spot. Best lake in the state and clean. We will definitely vacation here again and make it a family tradition.

Hidden gem.
Beautiful resort... Good size affordable cabin with all amenities. Kayak rentals, lake view dining, kids play area, lake beach.
Definitely coming back next year..

Had an awesome dinner here while on a family getaway. Nice environment and cozy atmosphere. Enjoyed the quality of food and enough menu options for everyone!

Service was a little slow but the waitress was new. She's young and gonna learn just fine. Glad there's food at the lake when I don't feel like cooking lol
