I love Huntingdon and Lake Raystown; of course, I''ve been lucky enough to live here for 10+ years. The folks at the visitors center are always helpful and friendly; today was no exception. With COVID, etc. I've grown to appreciate Lake Raystown, even more. It's great having such an awesome place to get outside and social distance.

Neat place here. Shows off some of the local wildlife. Has a small hands on museum type room. It shows some of the interesting history about Raystown lake. And a gift shop. Has a beautiful overlook to the lake and marina. Walking paths. Nice place to take the kids and get outside.

Every time I visit here it's just as interesting as the first. The displays are fascinating, the people are friendly, and the shop is a cute little store inside that always has fun knick knacks. The event center outside always has fun happenings on the weekends, and all are family friendly.

Raystown lake is an awesome recreation destination. Beautiful camping, swimming, hiking, and boating. Seven points has a nice beach to swim. But beyond Raystown there's tons of awesome spots to check out like rainbow falls at Trough Creek State Park and the coke ovens at Greenwood Furnace State Park. Several state gamelands are great for hiking and hunting.
