True ski on/ski off home!
Had a wonderful time skiing out the back door every day!
Great accommodations and the house has everything you need.
Thanks for being dog friendly; our Roxy truly enjoyed her vacation!

Awesome house, we had a blast. The house was brand new - and no neighbors, which was great! The only issue we had was that the alarm was on when we arrived, but I was able to get someone on the phone rather quickly to fix the issue. The house is 10/15 min drive from the mountain and close enough to the bars, so that they are able to pick you up, no problem. We very easily slept 7 people. I also loved how the house came equipped with lots of games - perfect ski house! I only wish they had a hot tub - maybe down the road they will add that!

The winter lore has its own private road and is surrounded by beautiful trees. When I walked into the place, I was amazed at the decor. Each room had a different feeling to it. Some rooms were calming while others were bright and cheery. The bed I slept in was very comfortable, even more so than the one at home! My favorite part of the trip was using the outdoor hot tub. The winter lore was stocked with fuzzy robes and flip-flops to use on our way out to the hot tub. While in the hot tub, we turned on the jacuzzi jets and the multi-color LED lights. It was an amazing experience, I felt like I was in a movie. I would highly recommend this place!

The unit was very clean and it was great that we had 3 full bathrooms because we all had to get ready for a wedding. I also liked that we could walk to the wedding because it was at the Grand! I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Mountain Green 3 through getaway-vacations. The process was seemless. Booked online; went and left at the agreed-upon time and date; and had a nice time.

I was happy with our visit and would go back again.

Only issue is the company, through their email, could do a better job of timely responding to emails. This did not affect our stay, but would have improved the experience.

We had the best time at the Winter Lore just outside of Killington. The house fit 10 adults perfectly, a great place to have a communal brunch or dinner, spread out to read/play games, get to the lifts, and relax in the hot tub post-shred!

Would definitely stay here again!

Reservations were so easy and the place was perfect for our winter getaway! There was plenty of room and many of the spaces were nicely updated. The kitchen was great and there were many nice touches like heated mats on the porch, boot dryers and more! The house was cozy and comfortable and we would definitely stay again! The place is ski in/out but unfortunately the trails near the house were closed during our visit so we couldn’t use them.

We had a nice stay at Winter Lore. It’s a great location between Rutland and Killington, immediately off Route 4. We liked that it was private as it sits at the end of a road with no thru traffic. There is even a beautiful rocky stream below, although it wasn’t easily accessible.

The main house is welcoming and functional, with updated décor and furniture. With four bedrooms it accommodated our family of 8 quite comfortably. There is a large family room, a side covered deck, a sunroom and three updated bathrooms with plenty of hot water. The kitchen and large dining room table were great for meals and playing games. Most of the rooms have large screen televisions with great WiFi service (good for streaming and working on laptops during the day).

During the cool evenings we enjoyed campfires (with plenty of firewood) and played a shuffleboard game inside. The beds were comfortable and sleeping was great with the fresh mountain air streaming through the house! Apparently a hot tub is going to be added on the grounds too.

New to the area, we found plenty of supermarkets (Grand Union is the closest) and a few spots for dining, including the nearby Sugar and Spice restaurant and Hops on the Hill in Killington, with a nice beer selection. We also enjoyed great takeout pizza from Ramunto’s in Rutland.

We had only one lighting issue and it was repaired within the hour. Overall a great experience in a private setting. Would stay again, if in the area.

Winter Lore was perfect in so may ways!
The home is completely charming! Well-appointed bedrooms, with new comfortable mattresses, dressers and closets, privacy - and enough space for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, preparing, serving, and eating. Nice dining room with a big table, great furniture everywhere, seating for a crowd. Even space for work, if you really have to bring your office with you. Loved the bathrooms and showers!
The location is far enough "out in the woods" to give us the cabin atmosphere we wanted, but close enough to US 4 to have access to civilization when we wanted that. And easy to drive to, but not drowning in the noise of constant traffic.
Enough outdoor space for activities, games, a nature experience … and a fabulous firepit … yet with an indoor sunroom close enough to dash into for a quick warm up, relaxing and shaking off snow, before moving inside or dashing back for more outside fun.
A great spot for skiers. Easy access to the lift lines and ski slopes, as well as to groceries or restaurants. Nice views without getting lost or snowbound in long back roads.
We loved it, and are eager to return.

We stayed there in October this year. The place was beautiful and nicely secluded and nestled into the woods at the end of its road. Still, it was near town so if we needed to get down to town to get anything it was not far away. The trees were gorgeous. There was a fire pit outside, wonderful fireplace in a sunroom inside and the kitchen looked completely new.

My wife and I were really very nicely surprised.
In terms of location, we were not very far from Killington, and very close to the antique shops and restaurants too. Lots of windows, which I like and quiet privacy. It was restorative. Thank you for having us.

This house is well-designed, full of light and roomy. The kitchen does not really allow more than one person to operate at any one time so if you cook a lot that is at times a problem. But it is well equipped and has good cooking pots. The views are great and people are responsive when you need something. It is close enough to Woodstock to enjoy its charming stores and restaurants. We had a great time here and I would come back.

Amazing stay at The Woods Resort Village Unit 08. Newly renovated, Gorgeous property in Killington, Vermont. We booked this property as part of Our Elopement/Wedding Weekend! - Beautiful property and location. Accommodations were above average. Getaway Vacations staff were highly responsive with excellent customer service. Anytime I needed to call for questions and/or inquiries, they were prompt, with willingness to help. They even went out of their way to respond immediately using their own cell phone numbers for contact, which was outstanding customer service! We were greeted with a cute welcome note, bottle of wine, and guest book to sign. We got Married on the bridge at the base of the Resort, and are so Thankful for the Beautiful property that made Our Experience Outstanding!! Highly recommend! We will definitely be booking this exact property again!

Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend.. Nice quiet condo located near a bunch of hiking trails and just down the street from a gas station, general store, and tavern.. short 10-15 minute drive to PICO ski slopes and 25 minute drive to Rutland in case you need some civilization. There was an issue with the shower and television but management team is super responsive and had it fixed by the next day.. they even bought a Roku stick for us when they couldn't get the television to work which was a really nice gesture.

Felt like we were staying off the beaten track, but still very close to ski resort, town, outdoor activities. The house is tastefully decorated, comfortable, newly updated, and plenty of room for guests to spread out. The property is lovely and we especially enjoyed sitting outside by the fire.

Fantastic home, well maintained, and plenty of room for all guests! The highlights of the house include the brand new hot tub and the game room which provided hours of entertainment for the kids.

Talking about next year already. We had 4 children under 6 and all were able to get on and off the slope easily. We all had a wonderful time in this beautiful home.

Great experience! The studio was clean and quiet. The neighbors were all very helpful with our questions.
Great location to shuttle bus and town.

The cottage was exactly as billed. A wonderful place to get away with a group of people in a perfect location. There is a nice backyard for lawn games and the beds are all good size. We comfortably slept 10 grown men. The bathroom situation in the morning does get dicey as there is only 1 full bath but for a weekend out of the city, that is just fine.

Walking to Long Trail Brewery is a must and it's only a 5 minute walk. We were up there for a golf weekend and this place worked out perfectly. They were easy to deal with from a booking standpoint and were quick to follow up when I had any questions.

Note - There is no coffee maker so if you want coffee, bring your own up or there is a general store right down the street.

Had a lovely stay at Silver Spring Chalet! The house was charming, comfortable and so cozy; perfect for a group of 11 and a dog. We were super close from Killington mountain, just a 20 min drive. Would definitely come back here! Had the best time.
