7.29.23 South Shore Loop was a 2.1 mile hike that cut through the nude/clothing optional beach. The trail was well marked and easy to follow as much of it followed the lake. Lots of mushrooms for those who forage, lots of cool tree roots, and overall a super easy hike for all ages.

Beautiful and untouched area. At least late fall there are only few people around, so you can enjoy the nature itself. Great for mountain biking, hiking, Nordic walking or camping. Enjoy small lakes, wast woods and beautiful views of Willoughby Lake. Just please take your trash back with you, Thanks!

Amazing view at the top of mount Pisgah!! You have different level of trails from easy to difficult, I did the difficult one but it worth the effort and you have different view spots along the trail, which enables some breaks some time 😁

Great place to visit! Love the views, the lake and the trails to hike. There are a few beaches in the area and plenty of small businesses to visit in the nearby towns. Will definitely be coming back every year and hope to find more trails (and explore the other side of the lake one day).

Very nice park with great trails! I hiked hiked with my dog to up to Mount Pisgah. I would rate it as a moderate to difficult hike due to the elevation changes but reaching the top is very rewarding. Make sure you take a break halfway there to enjoy the views of the lake. The views at the top are also very nice of the area.

It's very serene and has a nice chill vibe. speaking of chill, i could not get in the water in early August because it was too cold (not the waters fault, i'm just a baby.) There is also a nudist beach so keep that in mind if you have children, it's very much tucked away though and would be totally safe and fine if you would want to bring your kids there.

Amazing, clear lake with cliffs on both sides. North and south beaches (plus a secluded nude beach on the south side) for swimming with large shallow areas, great for kids. Trails on both sides of the lake at the south end that lead to amazing views (Mt. Pisgah and Hor) of the entire lake and surrounding areas. Pretty good amount of parking as well

Great place for hiking and relaxing. Trails were challenging enough and very well marked. Great place for pictures and hanging out.

Mt. Hor, Sutton, VT. Moderate to advanced hiking. Brookside and North Trails were a lot of fun. The North and East lookouts offer awesome views including Lake Willoughby.

Excellent state park. Spent a night camping off one of the trails. Only suggestion is to hike further out than I did because I could still hear traffic and people from my campsite. So if you want the full immersionxhead deeper in y'all!

I appreciated the stone steps adding to the safety of the hilly hike. The view of Lake Willoughby is well worth it!

Willoughby State Forest surrounds a beautiful lake- Lake Willoughby. Camping, day trips, hiking or if you're dating - nude beach! Hidden in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, there are endless activities to do - Covid approved.

Fabulous hike, about 1.5 miles on the south end trail, relatively steep and rocky, steep cliffs so watch your children and dogs, great view on top.

The trails for hiking are really wonderful. There are plenty of options for your endurance and skill level. There are also some that are friendly to joints and leg injuries. Either way There is no rush, it is peaceful and everybody on the trails are nice and considerate.

Get out there before the snow flies!
